Episode 195: The Interruption Was the Assignment | We Were Seconds From Dinner When Everything Changed | Faith, Compassion & the Good Samaritan

What feels like an interruption to you may be the moment somebody else desperately needs you to stop. Amanda and I were across the street from the restaurant where we planned to grab dinner when we saw a 79-year-old man get hit by a car in a crosswalk. What was supposed to be a quick dinner run turned into about an hour of helping, giving statements, and waiting with first responders. The man was conscious and stable, but in severe pain. One of the things that stayed with me most was that he initially tried to refuse treatment because he was worried about the cost. That changed the way I looked at the whole night. We were seconds away from dinner. He was seconds into a completely different kind of night. What felt like a delay to us was an emergency to him. It made me think about the Good Samaritan in Luke 10. The Samaritan was going somewhere too. He had plans. A schedule. A destination. But when he saw someone hurting, he stopped. That’s the question this episode asks: When someone’s need interrupts my plan, do I see an inconvenience... or an assignment? Amanda and I didn’t do anything heroic. We just stopped. We stayed. We gave our information. We helped with the piece that was ours. Sometimes that’s enough. Sometimes the interruption is a phone call. A child who needs to talk. A coworker having a hard day. A stranger who needs help. Someone who simply needs you to notice them. Sometimes the interruption is the assignment. And as we close out the week, I hope you enjoy your weekend and leave a little room for the people and moments you didn’t plan. Next week, we close out Season 5 with Episodes 196 through 200. 🎙️ Summit After the Storm Podcast 📖 Summit After the Storm releases November 10 🌐 SummitAfterStorm.com #ChristianPodcast #Faith #GoodSamaritan #Compassion #Kindness #HelpOthers #BePresent #LifeLessons #ChristianLiving #Leadership #Purpose #LoveYourNeighbor #Luke10 #FaithInAction #SummitAfterTheStorm Viral Spotify DescriptionViral Hashtags

You're Probably Losing Money on Your Ad Agency If…

Drawing on lessons shared by more than 1,000 seven- and eight-figure store owners inside the eCommerceFuel community, this episode explores why smaller brands may want to think twice before outsourcing their paid marketing. You'll learn how several store owners discovered that bringing advertising in-house improved profitability, why ad spend can be an important factor when deciding whether an agency makes financial sense, and how AI tools are making it easier for ecommerce operators to manage more of their marketing themselves. The episode also looks at a less obvious impact of AI on ecommerce teams. Rather than replacing large numbers of in-house employees, the examples shared from the community suggest that AI is often being used to make existing teams more productive, reduce software costs and rethink the role of agencies and consultants. You'll also hear about the AI tools being used to improve productivity, an ambitious redesign underway inside the eCommerceFuel community, and a surprising connection between financial knowledge and business margins. Pistyur Veronika: „Mindenki vezető, aki emberek életére hatással van”

A Brain Baron készült a Best Practice podcast legfrissebb epizódja, amelyben Pistyur Veronikát, a Bridge Budapest ügyvezetőjét és a Betone Business egyik műsorvezetőjét Hampuch Richárd kérdezte a siker valódi természetéről.
