Support

Found a bug? Report it from inside podnod — Settings → Diagnostics → Report a problem. For anything else, write to support@podnod.eu and a human reads it.

Reporting a bug from the app

Settings → Diagnostics → Report a problem, on any of the apps and on the web. It is the fastest route because it fills in the part people usually have to be asked for: which platform, which version and which screen you were on. You can attach a screenshot — you choose what is in it, and you see it before it is sent — and the log of what podnod itself was doing. Every part is optional, including all of it, and it works whether or not you have an account.

If podnod will not start, or you cannot sign in far enough to reach Settings, the address below is the way round it.

Before you write in

A few things fix themselves faster than an email round-trip:

  • A show's episodes look stale — podnod re-reads its feed automatically, but you can force it from the show page's refresh control.
  • Playback stalls or a download is stuck — episode audio streams straight from the publisher, so a publisher outage or a bad feed URL looks the same as a podnod problem from inside the app. Try the web player at podnod.eu to see if it is one or the other.
  • A device isn't syncing — check Settings → Devices for that device's last-synced time; signing out and back in re-establishes it.

What to include

If you are writing rather than using the form: the platform and app version (Settings → About), what you expected, and what happened instead. For a specific show or episode, the link to it — that is usually enough to reproduce it against the same feed. The form collects the first of those by itself.

Feed and takedown requests

Publishers asking for a correction or removal, and anyone with a rights concern about a listed show, should also write to support@podnod.eu — see also the Terms page for how listed content is handled.

Account and data requests

Requests to see or delete what is stored for an account go to the same address; see the Privacy page for what that covers, including what a problem report holds and how long it is kept.
