Incident at Delphos: Anatomy of a UFO Investigation | MHP 09.08.26.
Nothing seemed out of the ordinary on the night of November 2, 1971, as 16-year-old Ronald Johnson was tending the sheep behind his family's farm near Delphos, Kansas. That would all change within a matter of minutes, after a sudden rumbling noise caught his attention, prompting the young farmer to step outside—leading him to a face-to-face encounter with the unexplained. This week, we examine the famous Delphos, Kansas UFO incident, looking at details that include photos of a glowing ring on the ground where the object had allegedly hovered, and how subsequent analysis of soil samples helped make the Delphos case one of the more unusual purported physical-trace UFO incidents of the era. Interrupted Journey: The Betty and Barney Hill Controversy, Revisited | MHP 08.26.26.
More than six decades after Betty and Barney Hill reported a mysterious encounter while driving through New Hampshire's White Mountains, their story remains one of the most influential—and controversial—cases in UFO history. Invasion of the Orbs: Spherical UAP in Our Skies | MHP 08.18.26.
For decades, sightings of unusual, spherical objects have been reported in our skies. Often described as metallic silver, translucent, or illuminated in fiery orange or red, flying objects matching this description were even reported by Allied pilots over Europe during WWII as a possible new advanced weapon developed by Nazi Germany. Triangle UAP: The Pentagon's 'PURSUE' Release 05 | MHP 08.11.26.
It began on a summer night in 2011, when someone in the vehicle noticed three odd lights overhead. Curious, one of the occupants stepped out of the vehicle and looked up. Now, according to a witness interview released years later by the U.S. Department of War, what appeared above them was not simply three lights, but a massive, dark, triangular object moving silently across the night sky. Last week, the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) released its Fiscal Year 2025 Consolidated Annual Report on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, revealing its latest findings involving unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). Nimitz: The DIA/BAASS Investigations | MHP 07.21.26.
On November 14, 2004, the USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group Eleven steamed through the clear waters roughly eighty nautical miles west of San Diego beneath cloudless California skies. Unbeknownst to many on board, for nearly a week, operators deep inside the strike group's Combat Information Center aboard the USS Princeton had been watching something they could not explain. The Pentagon has released its fourth tranche of videos and documents related to UAP under its Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE) initiative, with the latest batch of materials now available for viewing at the U.S. Department of War's website. However, the latest revelations only add to a growing number of indistinct videos and other materials that raise more questions than they provide answers to. UAP Materials: 'Alien' Wreckage, or Earthly Oddities? | MHP 06.30.26.
For many decades, UFO researchers have obtained unusual samples alleged to be UAP materials recovered from crash events or other instances where physical traces of these anomalous aerial objects were present. In nearly every case where scientific analysis was undertaken, these unusual samples also revealed signatures that suggest Earthly origins. But should this necessarily mean they aren't worthy of further interest by UAP researchers?
