FLOWERS ARE STILL IN NATURE'S GARDEN
I am grateful for flowers to appreciate on my mid-September walks through nature’s natural garden. It is pure joy to discover the surrounding beauty, including people who share their individuality with others, knowing not everyone will understand. Those that do receive the benefits of a different view of life!!!!!!!! www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

ANOTHER FALL-WINTER JOY
The winterberries growing close to our stone walls are loaded with red berries that will last into winter. I look forward to enjoying them every year. I also find great joy in many things, including, people and places in Nature. My intention is to find them as I travel the path of my Soul. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

A BOUNTIFUL CROP
Our little 30+ year-old crabapple tree has a bountiful crop of tiny red apples this year. They are too small for human consumption, but the birds enjoy them. I think of how a bountiful crop of human kindness can feed human hearts with love all over the world. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

IT STILL TAKES MY BREATH AWAY
Several years ago, we returned from a week’s vacation and our first visit up to the cabin literally took our breath away when we saw the view that loggers had revealed in their recent cut. It still takes my breath away every time I see the view. Special places and people can help us feel gratitude that we can share with others. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

THE IMPORTANCE OF GRATITUDE
On the day of my 6900th podcast I choose to connect with the Importance of Gratitude. I set my intentions every day to feel gratitude for being allowed to channel the Cosmos’s nonjudgmental love and share it with others to help them discover their own heart connections. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

LITTLE BY LITTLE
This summer we have had several interruptions in accomplishing our goals, but we managed to start improving a trail by using some no value books that would have gone to the dump as fill for low spots in an old skidder road with the intention of creating a new trail. Spending an hour or so each week, little by little, our goal is coming together. It is amazing what can be accomplished little by little. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

LEAN ON ME
Recently I cut down a tall slender birch tree that was leaning over the old road and causing a potential winter hazard when heavy snow arrives. After I cleaned up the branches, I looked back and another tree had taken its place. It had been leaning on the first one. In life, we can lean on our Source to help us remain upright on our soul’s path. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

THE RESULTS ARE IN
The results are now in my stomach after dreaming of an apple pie from our old orchard. There was just enough for one pie, and I am so grateful to Nature (and gluten-free piecrust) for helping make my dream come true. Setting positive intentions with heart-felt gratitude and trust in your Source can go a long way to helping your dreams come true. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

A NEW DISCOVERY
I was opening the gate to the Cabin driveway when I discovered a tiny flower hiding in the tall grass under my feet. According to a flower identifier, it is called a purple false foxglove. I am reminded that there are new discoveries to be made when we pay attention to what is taking place around us, and I thank the little flower for this lesson in life. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

BELTLESS
After three hours of trying to find the trail, the Bob Cat, our Utility Vehicle, stopped running two hundred feet from our destination. I contacted a friend that lives nearby and he and another very mechanical friend pulled the Cat out of the woods and found the drive belt broken and shredded. The mechanical friend had dreamed about the Mountain years ago and its mystery which is still taking place. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

TAKING A WRONG TURN
This is a two part-podcast story. Recently we were doing some work on a new trail to the top of the Mountain following a skidder road created a few years ago. We decided to pull a drag with a side by side up the trail to connect to Robbins Way. We were stopped by a deep ditch, and instead of turning back, we decided to try to navigate an old cutting. Three hours later we were stuck. Then-----. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

FRAMING THE PICTURE
A picture frame makes a big difference in how a viewer receives it. Often the framing begins with how the artist creates it. In life, we all create images of what we want others to perceive what we do. Some people are very good at creating illusions, so it is easy to miss what is really taking place in the whole picture. It is wise to see the whole and the small details in life. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

CELEBRATIONS AND MEMORIALS
Some people visit the mountain to celebrate an event in their lives or to remember someone or something that has meaning for them. The little fairy space under the big pine tree at the top of the Lupine Field has become a place where people leave reminders of something special. Our minds are a great place to create positive memorials and celebrations. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

HOPING THERE IS ENOUGH FOR A PIE
Now that September has arrived, it is time to turn our attention to the old apple orchard near the cabin. We are hoping there are enough good apples, not wormy, to make an apple pie. In life we sometimes hope for something to manifest and when it is time we do not take the action needed for it to become reality. My goal this week is to enjoy an apple pie. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show

RIDING THE WIND
When a milkweed pod has opened, the silky fibers ride the winds that blow across the valley to find fertile ground to create next year’s new growth. When people offer an act of kindness to others, their positive intentions set sail with an energy that may touch lives of people they may never know. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
