2PM: Packers Survive the Jets, LaFleur Loses Kyle & Can a Win Still Feel This Bad?
It’s technically a Victory Monday on Kyle & Brust, but nobody seems ready for a parade. The Packers escape New York with a 20-17 overtime win, snapping their six-game losing streak despite finishing with fewer than 200 yards of offense, piling up penalties and needing the Jets to stumble late. Kyle calls it the most disappointed he’s ever been after a Packers victory and says Green Bay looks nothing like the championship contender he expected entering the season. The biggest fallout is Kyle finally saying he has lost all faith in Matt LaFleur. He and Ben question the offense’s lack of discipline, LaFleur’s play calling and another sequence where Green Bay followed a huge Skyy Moore return by running the ball twice and killing its momentum.
