Financial Friday: Fun Ways to Store Value

FF: Fun Ways to Store Value After comparing the prices of eggs, housing, and gold from 50 years ago and today, we realized that some ways of preserving value are better than others. We talk about some of the characteristics of money and how inflation is causing fiat currencies to go down in value. If you can create more value than you consume, you can store that extra value in an asset that will hold its value, so that in the future, you will still have the same (or better) buying power. While we have talked about things like real estate, gold, and silver in the past, today we cover some other ways to preserve value that may be of more interest to some people and may even be considered fun! Join in and learn how you can create and store value to make your financial life better! No More Lesser of Two Evils

No More "Lesser of Two Evils!" Election time is coming soon in the U.S. Citizens are frustrated with Democrats and Republicans. What problems have been solved since the last election? People have lost homes to property tax raises, so do you really own your own home? You should be able to choose what happens to your own body, so how can a draft be legal and why are the Amish being hassled for choosing not to take a vaccine? They have to take away more freedom to have more control. What can we do as concerned voters? We can stop voting for the "Lesser of Two Evils". This does not mean skipping out on going to the polls. You can make a statement by showing up. There are options that can still make your voice heard without having to vote in someone that you don't believe in. Join us as we talk about what we are doing to preserve our freedoms! Teenager Takeover: Choice in Our Time

TT: Choice in Our Time Our lives and who we are is based on what we learn and the choices we make. If you make good choices, you get good things. If you make bad choices, you don’t This is how our economic system works. We all have the choice of what to do with our finances. How do we make money? What do we buy? How do we spend our time? How do we run our business? Those choices are how the entire system works. If you had to buy from a specific company every time, that would be a monopoly. Christianity is based on choice. You can choose to join or leave. You can choose to love your neighbor or not. There are consequences for your actions, but you still have the ability to make the decision. Heaven and Hell are a choice. One is “Eternity with God”, and the other is “Eternity without God” If you were forced into a religion or threatened with death if you wanted to leave it, that would not be a good thing (that is part of one of the worlds other largest religions, but that’s a story for another day). Why are we against Flock cameras and Data Centers? They are not the choices of the people. Voting is a choice. https://donkissick.com/on-the-issues Abolish Property Taxes in Ohio: www.AxOHTax.com Get more information about abolishing all property taxes in Ohio. https://citizensforpropertytaxreform.org/ Our Links: www.RealPowerFamily.com Info@RealPowerFamily.com 833-Be-Do-Have (833)-233-6428

Gina Gardiner & Friends - Marta Czajkowska - Going within - Rewiring the nervous system

Meet Marta Czajkowska I left Poland after seeing a climbing movie about Yosemite. I was eighteen, had two hundred dollars and the conviction that freedom was somewhere on the other side of a hard enough climb. For thirty years I chased summits across the remote reaches of the planet, from El Cap to Fitz Roy to Tasmania to the big walls of Yosemite. I taught technical rockcraft to Navy special warfare teams, in places where a dysregulated nervous system is the difference between coming home and not. For a long time the climbing was the answer. And underneath all of it, a nagging question kept running: what does freedom actually mean, if I've built a whole life to escape into it? I was very good at one thing in particular, and it had nothing to do with rock. World-class at overriding myself. Minimize, manage, keep going, don't be the problem. When I broke my back, the first thing I said was, let's not tell anyone. That instinct kept me alive across three decades in environments that punish hesitation. It was brilliant. And then it kept going, right past the signals my body was sending, well past the point where it was serving me, because the override doesn't turn itself off when the environment changes. It performs as discipline. As drive. As the thing everyone admires. And you cannot see it from inside it. So I know the difference between a woman who is strong and a woman who has learned to override herself. I was the latter for most of my life. I came back from the other side of that collapse with both a story and the science to explain it. Most people have one or the other. The story without the framework, or the framework without the lived cost. Mine came out of the full collision: thirty years where regulation determined whether I lived, and the specific experience of watching the same pattern that kept me alive nearly take me down a different way entirely. That collision is the work I do now. Eight years of coaching senior women and leaders, running a continuous coaching group. I nurture and protect my clients the way I was never protected. I train the capacity underneath the performing, in real mountains, so the women I work with can lead and decide and meet what's in front of them without abandoning themselves to get through it. I hold the parts most coaches sidestep. The grief. The fear. The version of you that is ending so a truer one can form. The entire hard-things industry is built by men for the performance of more, and I do the opposite work: healing over achievement, which is the correction that industry has never made. I learned why the hard way, and I will not run you the way I was once run. Website: https://mastersofbadassery.com

Founder Story: Unleashing Your Inner Wonder Woman with 'Queen of the Americas' Jennifer Logue, CEO of Leadership Communication Skills Consultancy Phenomenal Speaking

What happens when Southern hospitality meets New York Assertiveness? You get Jennifer Logue, the force behind Phenomenal Speaking, who's transforming how Leaders communicate through a powerful blend of Emotional Intelligence and Radical Candor. Jennifer's journey began in the South, where family values and entrepreneurial spirit shaped her foundation. Her grandfather – a trial attorney she affectionately calls "Papa" – showed her what true Leadership looks like by fighting for justice while raising three strong women. "Remember you are loved," his words that catch in her throat when she shares them, became both her personal mantra and professional compass. When Jennifer arrived in New York at 21, the city immediately taught her a crucial lesson: you can't control everything, but you can choose how you respond. Managing Irish pubs and nightclubs became her MBA in human behavior, teaching her to cool down tense situations while maintaining boundaries. This unique combination – creating space for people to be heard while moving them toward action – now defines her Executive Coaching approach. What makes Jennifer's method truly "phenomenal" is how she weaves together seemingly contradictory strengths. Named after Maya Angelou's poem "Phenomenal Woman," her business embodies both fierce advocacy and deep empathy. "People forget what you've said, they'll forget what you've done, but they'll never forget how you made them feel," she quotes Angelou, explaining how this philosophy guides her work with clients. When not Coaching Executives, Jennifer performs with her Theatre Company "Our Bar NYC" and Jug-Band "The Salt Cracker Crazies", channels her inner Gamer with titles like Red Dead Redemption 2, and spoils Hazelnut, her beloved dog. These creative outlets keep her grounded and remind her of the importance of play in professional growth. Want to develop your own communication superpowers? Connect with Jennifer at www.phenomenalspeaking.com and discover how emotional intelligence can transform your leadership presence while staying authentically you. The Vault Expert - What Might a Child be Communicating Before They Can Explain What is Happening?

Patti Katter welcomes Alicia Chandler of Servius Group for a conversation about school safety, child protection, and the opportunities to intervene earlier. Drawing on 22 years in law enforcement and her experience interviewing more than 2,000 children, Alicia shares how her work responding to abuse shaped her commitment to prevention. Together, they explore changes in behavior that deserve attention, why listening to the small things helps build trust, and how online relationships can become opportunities for manipulation. Alicia discusses her concerns about children’s access to social media, the pressures that follow them beyond the school day, and why children need to know they can ask for help even after doing something they were told not to do. The conversation also looks at the role of teachers, coaches, counselors, and school resource officers. Alicia explains how Servius works with school communities to identify their particular vulnerabilities, provide tailored training, and help adults recognize concerns and take appropriate action. For parents facing a possible exploitation situation, her message is to remain patient, keep showing up, and seek support. A change in behavior does not automatically mean abuse, but it can be a reason to pay closer attention and start a conversation. Topics Discussed: - Alicia’s transition from responding to harm to working in prevention. - Why children may communicate distress through behavior before telling an adult. - Changes in attendance, friendships, mood, appearance, and school performance. - Building trust through consistent, everyday conversations. - Helping children ask for help even after sharing a photo or breaking a rule. - Online grooming, gaming conversations, hidden accounts, and social media pressures. - How schools can build relationships with trusted adults. - Community-specific school assessments, training, and response pathways. - Supporting families when exploitation may be occurring. About the Guest: Alicia Chandler works with Servius Group and brings more than 20 years of experience in law enforcement, investigations, and child protection. In this episode, she discusses her work as a forensic interviewer, her experience speaking with more than 2,000 children, and her work training multidisciplinary teams around the country. Lies, Damned Lies, and Government Statistics

Lies, Damned Lies, & Government Statistics The government is supposed to be there simply to protect its citizens from those that wish to do them harm. So why are they giving us statistics that don't give us an accurate picture of what is going on? Why are they passing laws that hurt the citizens to benefit other countries or illegal migrants? The media isn't better and seems determined to divide us. We have a good example of a non-interventionist that believed in keeping bureaucratic fingers out of the economy. John James Cowperthwaite turned the rock that was Hong Kong into a booming economy with a low tax system that increased government revenue. What is the moral hazard of having machines fight a war for you? We talk about all this and more. Learn to read between the lines, so you can see what they aren't telling you. Hard Assets to Save the Day!

Hard Assets to Save the Day! Trump said we could easily inflate our way out of debt, but who is that good for? It isn't good for the average citizen, who can buy less with their dollar. What would it have been like to buy a truck or a house in gold in 1971? What would it be like today? Priced in gold, things have gotten less expensive. Thank you to anyone who has stood up for justice and freedom. He who defends his own freedom protects the freedom of others. Are you dealing with a difficult customer? If you can provide good customer service, you might just turn their day around! In this episode, we are looking at value that you can provide and how you can store the value that comes to you. The Vault Expert Presents: The Vault Files: The Mind Is a Beautiful Liar

What if one of the most convincing stories you've ever believed about your life wasn't entirely true? We trust our memories. We rely on eyewitness accounts. We assume the experiences that shape us are safely stored somewhere in our minds. But neuroscience and psychology reveal something far more complicated. In the premiere episode of The Vault Files, Patti Katter opens three extraordinary cases that challenge what we think we know about memory, identity, and the human brain. FILE ONE: The Memory That Never Happened Explore the groundbreaking false-memory research of psychologist Elizabeth Loftus and the famous Lost in the Mall experiment. Can suggestion influence someone to remember an event that never occurred? FILE TWO: The Witness Who Was Certain Discover the real-life story of Jennifer Thompson and Ronald Cotton, a wrongful conviction, and the troubling limitations of eyewitness identification. What happens when someone is completely certain—and completely mistaken? FILE THREE: The Man Who Couldn't Remember Tomorrow Enter the remarkable world of Henry Molaison, known to researchers as Patient H.M. After experimental brain surgery in 1953, his ability to form new long-term memories was profoundly impaired. Yet his brain could still learn certain new skills. Three files. Three extraordinary stories. One unsettling question: How much can we really trust our own minds?
