Coventry City Daily DigestCoventry City Daily Digest: Tuesday 6 October 2026
Voting is open for Coventry City's September Player of the Month, supported by Geely Auto UK. The club say voting closes at seven o'clock on Wednesday evening and the winner is announced on Thursday, with anybody who played during the month eligible. September brought four games in all competitions, including a first Premier League win in twenty five years, away at Nottingham Forest through Jay Dasilva. Andy Turner at CoventryLive is relaying a report from ontheminute dot com that Coventry are monitoring Kristian Lien, a Norwegian centre forward at Djurgarden in Sweden, ahead of January. The same report has Birmingham City and Wrexham watching him too, and says all three are still at the assessment stage. That is a single source and a rumour, and no club has confirmed any interest. CoventryLive have also gone back to the five four win at Sunderland in April two thousand and nineteen to find out where that side ended up. Liam Kelly retired this summer at thirty six after two seasons at Rotherham and is now in charge of Coventry's Under twenty ones. Dujon Sterling is a regular at Rangers, Dom Hyam is at Wrexham, Lee Burge joined Salford last month, and Bright Enobakhare was last heard of in the Qatari second division. Newcastle United visit the Coventry Building Society Arena on Monday night at eight o'clock. Play Up, Sky Blues!
