Produced & Hosted by Debbie Dahmer aka "Mama Bear" Guests: Doll Stanley- Justice for Animals Campaign Director and Sharon Stone - Operations Manager at Hope Animal Sanctuary- In Defense of Animals Topics: UPDATES on Hope Animal Sanctuary in Mississippi. Discussion on NO KILL Animal Shelters and Uplifting Rescue Stories. Justice for Animals https://www.idausa.org/campaign/justice-for-animals/ Animal cruelty has no boundaries, whether through neglect or intentional acts of violence against animals. Statistically, regions of the United States facing economic and educational challenges tend to foster neglect and intentional cruel treatment of animals. This is where our Justice for Animals campaign rises to the challenge, to promote an environment in which just laws are enacted and enforced. We are forging strong coalitions in the Deep South that incorporate law enforcement, judges, prosecuting attorneys, humane representatives, and citizens to impact county and municipal ordinances and state statutes on a grass roots level that comes from the heart of Mississippians. We work with law enforcement to share knowledge of animal law, provide guidance in investigating cruelty complaints, establish resources to address cruelty cases, and empower future generation of caring individuals as to how humans and other animals can coexist harmoniously to benefit all. **************************************************************** Hope Animal Sanctuary https://www.idausa.org/sanctuaries/hope-animal-sanctuary/ In a region devoid of animal shelters and other vital animal control services, the ongoing work of the sanctuary is critical in providing hope for animals suffering in America’s Deep South. In Defense of Animals' Hope Animal Sanctuary has saved thousands of animals over the years, including dogs, cats, sheep, pigs, horses, cows, and chickens. ***************************************************************** What You Can Do Support Hope Animal Sanctuary by signing up to become an Animal Advocate If you are in the Mississippi area, consider helping out by volunteering Adopt one of our animals in need Sign one of our action alerts to get justice for animals Read our latest Hope Animals Sanctuary news to stay up-to-date Take Action: Help Animals Now! https://www.idausa.org/take-action/ ***********************With Our VOICES The Animals Will Be HEARD..With Our ACTIONS The Animals Will Seek *J*U*S*T*I*C*E* ********************* Thank you ALL For Tuning In!~ Be A Subscriber [FREE] --Voices Carry For Animals Podcast on Riverside - Podcast Archives https://voicescarryforanimalspodcast.riverside.com/
