    A B-25 Legend

Rob and Scott sit down with famed "B-25 King" Carl Scholl and his daughter Christine Scholl and talk about Carl's origins of how he became the worlds leader in owning B-25 parts, some of the amazing stories he's had along the way along with his partner at Aero Trader Tony Ritzman. Christina talks about what it was like growing up in the Mecca of warbirds at Chino, the beginnings of her story in aviation and where does she go from here. We apologize for the audio as we had a microphone failure and didn't know it till it was too late. Our producer Scott did everything he could to make it as palatable as possible and I felt the interview was too good to scrap. #b25mitchell #chinowarbirds #nationalmuseumofwwiiaviation #restoration #warbirds ‪@aerotrader ‪@nationalwwiiaviation‬ #fatherdaughter If you would like to support the museum and "Keep 'em flying!" please consider donating to The National Museum of WWII Aviation in Colorado Springs CO. From Lakebed to Liftoff, the Helldiver's Recovery Story: Winged Victory "Classic"

Winged Victory podcast crew are going through some personnel changes so while we sort that out and after having just experienced the 3 Helldivers history making flight together we thought it extremely appropriate to revisit one of our favorite episodes. Rob, Scott and special guest host Don Johnson sit down with Matt McCauley and talk about his time as a teenager recovering Jim Slattery's SB2C-1A out of Lake Washington in the Seattle area in the early 80's. It is an amazing tale of what some "kids" could accomplish when they decided to pull this and other airplanes out of the water. This is a must listen!
