What's My Age Again?

Bauer Media

Welcome to What’s My Age Again – The Only Podcast That Takes Your Blood! …and uses it to determine how old your body really is.

Katherine Ryan takes a forensic look into her celebrity guests' lifestyle, relationships, medical history, mental health and anti-ageing rituals (or lack of) before revealing how all this has affected their biological age, and how it compares to the number on their birth certificate.

Diving into the science behind the (sometimes) scandal, Dr Nichola Conlon, who has a PhD in biochemistry, is on hand to decode the results, separating the science from the snake oil and explaining what they can actually do about it.

Catch up on episodes with Katie Price and Vogue Williams, and follow the podcast for new episodes with Louis Theroux, Vicky Pattison and more.

The test is carried out by the company Glycanage.

Phil Wang: Last One Laughing, Hot Comedians & Off Menu at KFC.

Phil Wang enters the lab, spilling ALL about comedian glow-ups, ChickenMaxxing & why he’s the last cool millennial. But do his cells agree? Or is he a boomer on a biological level? He says his opinions age him... but can they age your bones? He recalls a childhood full of snakes, floods and getting caned. But he’s tackled his demons head-on, doing therapy to help him find peace. Him and Katherine dig into why they prefer stand-up comedy to socialising, the importance of surrounding yourself with people who hold you accountable, and if eating like a goat can keep a human’s age down. Phil used to drink so much that every night out ended in vomit, yet these days he prefers a glass of vintage red from his temperature-controlled wine cabinet. Has his body aged like a fine wine? ULTRA-PROCESSED FOODS: Are you what you eat?

Ultra-processed foods are one of the biggest conversations in nutrition, and one of the most confusing. Is all processed food bad? Do you really have to ditch the freezer nuggets? In this bonus episode, Dr Nichola Conlon explains what warning signs you need to look out for on your food labels, what a controlled clinical trial revealed about overeating UPFs, and how these foods can affect biological ageing. She’ll answer your questions on finding a realistic middle ground and whether past damage can be reversed. And she settles the great online debate: Is yoghurt ultra-processed? Plus we'll delve into the case files of an Eastenders legend. Got a question for Dr Nichola? Send it in via our socials. Spencer Matthews: Giving Up Sex, Loving Pain and Crying About James Blunt

30 marathons in 30 days. Seven Ironmans across seven continents. He says he loves pain...but can Spencer Matthews handle the pain of childbirth? With his wife Vogue having just welcomed their 4th child, we hooked Spencer up to a TENS machine to simulate labour contractions. Turns out extreme endurance training might not prepare you for EVERYTHING... The former Made in Chelsea star has swapped partying for extreme fitness, become obsessed with health data and developed a resting heart rate most of us can only dream of. But will his years of extreme training give him the edge, or is even Spencer Matthews capable of reaching his limit? He gets into what ageing, addiction and pushing himself physically have taught him about resilience AND reveals what actually makes him cry (spoiler : it's not the birth of his children). He also reveals why he thinks longevity is overrated, and why living to 120 is absolutely NOT on his bucket list. And then there’s the big question: can Spencer beat his wife Vogue’s famously young biological age? He says he’s not competitive. We’re not so sure. Vanessa Feltz: Toxic Men, Bad Sex AND Big Regrets

Never one to hold back, Vanessa Feltz joins us to prove that honesty really is her cardio. Broadcaster, national treasure, and unapologetic romantic, she’s spent decades talking about everything we’re usually far too polite (or British) to admit... bad sex, worse men, and the crushing boredom of being single. But when your life has been this loud, this turbulent, and this publicly dissected… something has to give. So has her health been quietly keeping score? From being labelled “fat” then “gaunt” (cheers, tabloids), to staying in relationships she knew were doomed just to avoid an empty house, Vanessa doesn’t hold back. Now 64, she insists she still feels 14, full of hormones, hope, and the occasional questionable decision… But is her body playing along? Is a bit of drama actually good for you? Is arguing better than silence? And is the real secret to happiness just having someone, ANYONE, to point at a fox in the garden with?
