    Dad nearly didn’t come to China. After losing Mum, it was a lot to take on. But at 71, he came with me to trek the Great Wall for CoppaFeel! — and we came home wanting more. In this episode, I’m talking about the trek, the people we met and why being around people who are up for an adventure can have such a huge effect on you. There was grief there, of course. But there was joy too, and friendships I’m so glad we didn’t miss out on. We went to raise money and awareness for CoppaFeel!, and I came home feeling more alive.     Eight years ago, I had a scan showing no evidence of cancer after being told to prepare for a very different future. I sat down to record, thinking I’d tell you all about my recent Coppafeel! trek on Great Wall of China with my dad, but I found myself looking back at everything that brought me there: finding a new oncology team, bringing our little boy home, watching Ivy grow up, Mum, and all the adventures I was once convinced I would miss. How lucky am I?! I talk about the power of hope, manifestation, the house we were determined to buy and my ever growing living list! My medical treatment has been essential. But so has belief and visualising and all the other alternative therapies which have helped me keep going and ask for what I needed.
