She talks about learning every role in the control room, why internships matter and what it's really like to work those early morning news shifts.In this interview she reflects on being the first journalist in Cleveland to wear her natural hair on air, dealing with criticism on social media, the importance of pausing before you respond and why overcommunicating is one of the most underrated skills in any newsroom.
