Dreams from the Street with Dr. Paul Watsky
San Francisco Jungian analyst Paul Watsky, PhD, interprets three volunteer "person on the street" volunteers' dreams to demonstrate how he would approach dreamwork in his practice. Though Dr. Watsky suggests possible meanings for the dreams, he is clear that these are only hypotheses to guide further inquiry. The purpose here is not to make a clinical assessment, rather it is to illustrate a Jungian analyst's approach to dreamwork with the caveat that there is not enough information in these vignettes to make any definitive conclusions. This episode would not be possible without the generosity of our three dreamers who granted us permission to share their dreams plus a few details about their lives. We don't use their real names in the episode. To be clear, our volunteer dreamers are not psychotherapy patients.
