Awkward Conversations Are The Ones You Should Be Having

Difficult conversations get avoided but the longer you put them off the more they drag you down. Take marriage or relationships. She already knows something's off. You can bring it up on your terms, or wait for life to bring it up for you. Carrying a conversation you can't find the words for? Book a 20-minute Turbo Call with Jonnie: https://highvaluemanproject.com/turbocall In this solo episode, Jonnie Jensen gets into the conversations men avoid with the people closest to them, about money, sex, the health of the relationship or the future of the business, and why putting them off makes them worse, not better. He shares how he sat on the money pressure himself this summer, what Jo said when it finally came out, and a practical way to raise a hard subject so it lands as an invitation rather than an ambush. For any man who has been rehearsing something in his head for longer than he'd like to admit. WHY THIS MATTERS Every conversation you dodge teaches your brain it's dangerous, and the people around you feel the distance long before you say a word. Leave it long enough and circumstances will force it for you, on worse terms. Don't Be Nice, Be Respected feat. Danny M Goldberg

You were raised to be the nice guy. Nice gets you taken advantage of at work, at home and by your own kids. This isn't about being an arsehole. It's about being clear enough that people know you could be one. Rebuilding after divorce, or just tired of being the pushover at home? I created the Lifestyle MOT to show you exactly where to start. 3 mins, 15 simple questions, and you get a personal review back from me: https://highvaluemanproject.com/score Danny M Goldberg has spent seventeen years training Fortune 500 companies and government agencies to have difficult conversations, and wrote A Little Bit of A$$hole after realising he'd lost his own voice at home. This one is for the man who says yes when he means no, explains every decision, and then wonders why he's not taken seriously by his partner, his team or his kids. Jonnie and Danny talk through divorce, dating again with your eyes open, and why nice men don't avoid the row, they postpone it until it blows. WHY THIS MATTERS The cost of nice builds up quietly. The boss who asks too much, the partner who stops seeing you as the man she fell for, the teenager who learns your no means "ask again later". This hour gives you the language to set the line early, before you end up drawing it in the middle of a blow-up. HIGH VALUE MOMENTS 08:21 Getting divorced is awful. Forget January Resolutions - This Is The Best Time For Success

Fourteen weeks to December...I'm not saying the C word! Many men will coast through, arrive in December knackered and slightly disappointed, and then promise themselves something on the 1st of January. FORGE starts in October. Eight weeks, small group, sixteen men, finishing before December even starts. This episode is the argument, FORGE is how it actually happens: https://live.highvaluemanproject.com/forge September to December is the most workable stretch in the calendar and it is the one most men write off. In this solo episode Jonnie makes the case for the fourteen week run: why the conditions in September beat the conditions in January, why the pressure a man feels about a busy autumn is almost always anticipated rather than real, and what it takes to arrive at the 20th of December with nothing hanging over him. He is open that this time of year does his head in too, and uses his own September, two kids out every night, a Hyrox at the end of October, to show what handling it badly looks like before turning it into something a man can use. WHY THIS MATTERS A resolution has no scoreboard. It runs to nothing and dies quietly in February, which is why most men have had the same January more than once. Christmas is a real date. The men who treat these fourteen weeks as a deadline rather than a wind down arrive at it with something to celebrate instead of something to apologise for, and their families get a December with a man in it rather than a man catching up. HIGH VALUE MOMENTS 03:19 Why September Cranks Me Up Every Year 05:58 The Pressure Is Not Real. It's Anticipated. 09:21 Don't Make Her Everything 11:50 Work Back From Christmas Day 14:48 Protect December FORGE STARTS IN OCTOBER Eight weeks, small group, sixteen men. It runs through October and November, which means the work is finished before December even starts. Weekly 90 minute group calls, the FIRE CODE tracker, a cohort WhatsApp group, and accountability that starts the day you join rather than the day the sessions do. Fourteen weeks. The Holiday Pressure Trap

You saved for it. You booked it. You told everyone it was going to be brilliant. That's exactly why it turned into a row by day three. Do not fall into the holiday pressure trap. See exactly where your energy, connection and joy is leaking. The free HVM Scorecard takes three minutes https://highvaluemanproject.com/score Jonnie is back from ten days in France with his two kids and one of their mates, and this episode is the honest version of how a family holiday actually goes well. Not the destination, not the budget, not the itinerary. The pressure a man loads onto the trip before he has even left the house, and what happens to his wife and kids when reality does not match the picture in his head. He shares what he does before he packs the boot, on the drive, at the dinner table and in the moments he deliberately steps back to catch. WHY THIS MATTERS For most men the holiday is the one stretch of the year his family gets all of him, and he arrives too loaded to give it. What he wanted to be the best fortnight of the year becomes the one everyone remembers for the wrong reasons. The cost is not a wasted week. It is another year of his kids and his partner learning what he is like under pressure. You Think You're Invincible. Then You Turn 45 feat. Oliver Anwar

You never decided to let your health go. You just kept spending it, because it kept paying out. It stops paying out at about 45. Find out where you're leaking energy, focus and drive. Take your free HVM Score: https://highvaluemanproject.com/score Oliver Anwar is an executive health coach working with entrepreneurs and senior executives around the world, based in Dubai. Eight years ago he was broke and filling vending machines in central London at 4am. He builds his coaching around blood work rather than the scales, and he is blunt about what men are getting wrong before they reach for TRT or a weight loss jab. He and Jonnie get into the crisis that arrives at 40 to 45, why identity beats discipline, and what a man can actually do about it starting tomorrow. WHY THIS MATTERS The men in this conversation are not unwell. They are successful, capable, and quietly running on a baseline nobody has ever measured. The bill for that lands somewhere between 40 and 50, usually in a doctor's room, and by then the options are worse and the price is higher. Your Marriage Isn't Broken, It's Paused feat. Dr Lee Baucom

No man wakes up one morning and decides to stop fancying his wife. It happens by a decision neither of you remember making. See exactly where the connection is leaking. Take your free HVM Score: https://highvaluemanproject.com/score Dr Lee Baucom has spent thirty years working with couples and is the author of Save the Marriage. Jonnie bought that programme during his own divorce, ten years ago, and says it changed how he thinks about relationships to this day. They talk about the relationships that aren't broken, just quiet, and what it takes for one man to bring one back to life without waiting for permission. WHY THIS MATTERS Nobody arrives at the end of a marriage. Everybody drifts there, one benign decision at a time, and most men don't notice until the distance is too wide to talk across. Clear Mind, Clear Results - Law of Attraction for Men

A clear mind gets clear results. The reason this is true is much more scientific than most men believe. If you think the Law of Attraction is a load of crap then you may be missing out on the basic principles of "you get what you think about most of the time". This episode is why a clear mind matters and how to fix it. Find out where your thinking is clear and where it's cluttered. The free HVM Score takes two minutes: https://highvaluemanproject.com/score Jonnie Jensen breaks down the law of attraction in real-world terms — not crystals and vision boards, but full body alignment: thoughts, actions and chemistry all pointing in the same direction. Why desire alone isn't enough. Why the doubt underneath is the thought that's actually running the show. And the simple exercise that clears the interference so you can get after what you actually want. WHY THIS MATTERS Most men are working hard and going in circles. Not because they lack effort or a plan, but because their doubts are louder than their desire — even when they can't hear them. This episode names that and gives you a way out. Fathers Day - It's Massive And It's Meaningless

Fatherhood is one of the most thankless jobs going. But it's also one of the best. Wherever you are this Father's Day, this one's for you. https://highvaluemanproject.com/score Jonnie Jensen dropped this short special on Father's Day weekend for every kind of dad: the ones who've got their kids around them, the ones who won't see their kids today, the ones in the long game who are quietly wondering if any of it's landing. A single dad himself, Jonnie speaks directly to the men who are fighting for contact, the ones going through divorce, the ones whose teenagers have pulled away, and the ones who are showing up every day to a role that doesn't always come with much gratitude. He talks about the father figures beyond your own dad, about what Father's Day actually means versus what we think it should mean, and about the one thing that gets single dads through: staying focused on what's coming next, not wallowing in what's been lost. This is a short, honest, personal one. No framework. Just one dad talking to others. WHY THIS MATTERS Men don't need permission to celebrate fatherhood or to acknowledge how hard it is. What they do need is someone to say: if it's not working the way you want it to right now, that can change. You don't have to have got it right up until now to start getting it right. The relationship with your kids is the long game. Keep playing it. TAKE THE SCORECARD Not sure where your life is leaking energy, focus and drive? You'll Never Walk Again: Colin Owensby on Resilience, Loss and a Fulfilled Life

He was told at 15 he might never walk again. This week's guest, Colin Owensby, rebuilt his body, lost his brother three months later, and went on to model in Milan, double for Ashton Kutcher in Hollywood, finish an Ironman and a 100-mile ultra, and build a life he calls genuinely fulfilled. Win At Home Before You Lose It All: The 5 Step System For Midlife Men

Get your High Value Man Score. Find out where your energy and joy are leaking. Takes 2 mins. 👉 https://highvaluemanproject.com/scoreYou've worked your arse off. The business is doing well. The house, the car, the holidays. On paper you've made it. So why does midlife feel like this for men? Why are you knackered all the time. Why does your wife look at you like she's tolerating you. Why are your kids walking around you like you're the angry man in the corner. Why does fun feel like something other people are having. This episode is for every midlife man who can feel it slipping. The man, the dad, the husband he wanted to be. The man he was when she fell in love with him. The man he used to like seeing in the mirror. There are five things you have to nail to come back from that, and they have to be done in the right order. This is the system Jonnie runs men through inside Accelerate and on the "Win At Home Before It's Too Late" webinars this month. The same system that's pulled men back from the brink of divorce, burnout, and quietly losing it all. WHY THIS MATTERS This episode names exactly what's broken and gives you the five-step system to fix it. Identity. Energy. The cost of the wrong life. Being A Step Dad - Are You Getting It Wrong?

Being a stepdad is one of the hardest jobs a man can take on. Get it right and its a true privilege. Get it wrong and its a recipe for endless stress and drama. Get your High Value Man Score. Find out where your energy and drive are leaking. Takes 2 mins. 👉 https://highvaluemanproject.com/score Jonnie just got off a coaching call about step parenting on Bank Holiday Monday and couldn't wait to record this. In this episode he draws on his own experience as a stepson, as a stepdad, and from over a decade of coaching men through blended family life. Six principles that he genuinely believes work, not because they're easy, but because they're honest about what the job actually requires. WHY THIS MATTERS Blended families are more common than ever and the tension inside them is quietly wrecking relationships. Men stepping into a stepdad role with the wrong mindset, trying to enforce rules, competing with the biological dad, or going half in, create more damage than they realise. And the kids carry it. This episode names what most men get wrong and gives a clear path to getting it right. Whether you're a stepdad, about to become one, or your kids are now spending time with your ex's new partner, there is something in here for you. Ezra Vancil Addiction, Divorce and the Rebuild Nobody Saw Coming

A Texas musician. Two divorces. A decade of addiction. And a life rebuilt from the ground up. This one will hit you somewhere real. Get your High Value Man Score. Reclaim your energy and drive. Takes 2 mins. 👉 https://highvaluemanproject.com/score Last week Jonnie turned 52 and looked at exactly what he's learned about making sure he's not running himself into the ground. This week his guest has lived the full version of that story, and come out the other side making the best music of his life. Ezra Vancil is a performing songwriter, author, and father from Texas. He plays in a band with his daughter. He's been signed, dropped, divorced twice, through addiction and sobriety, in and out of mental hospitals, and at rock bottom more than once. He got sober at 40 and has spent the thirteen years since rebuilding a life, a marriage, and a creative purpose that actually means something. This is his story. WHY THIS MATTERS Most men who are struggling aren't struggling because of their circumstances. They're struggling because somewhere along the way they lost themselves inside a version of life they were trying to hold together. Ezra did what a lot of men do: kept the ambition running, buried the pain, and let the alcohol do the work of keeping him going. Until it didn't. What makes this conversation worth your time isn't the darkness. It's what came after. Ezra talks about fatherhood, divorce, affairs, custody battles, the moment a therapist told him he could be happy, and what it actually took to change. If you're in a hard chapter right now and can't quite see the next one, this is for you. The Decade That Makes or Breaks You: What I've Learned at 52

Frustrated that you don't feel like the man you want to be? Find out where your energy and drive are leaking.👉 https://highvaluemanproject.com/score 52 is bloody old. Or is it? A couple of decades ago it definitely would have been. But now? The question is how you should be feeling and thinking at this point - and whether you're actually doing it. If you're just turning 40, listen up. This decade matters more than any other. You wouldn't run a high performance car into the ground and wonder why it's falling apart. On his 52nd birthday, Jonnie looks at exactly what he's learned about making sure he's not doing that to himself - and what you can do right now to make sure you're not doing it either. WHY THIS MATTERS A lot of men hit their 40s and start to feel it. Not the age itself - something else. The energy quietly dropping. The spark fading. The sense that life should feel better than this by now They look at it as a motivation problem or a circumstances problem when actually it comes down to a handful of fundamentals they've stopped doing or never really started. This episode names them directly. If you're heading into your 40s or already in them, the gap between where you are and where you want to be probably starts somewhere in here. Finding Your Purpose - 4 Steps To Reconnecting With The Man You Want To Be

Frustrated that you don't feel like the man you want to be? Find out where your energy and focus are leaking. 👉 https://highvaluemanproject.com/score Last week Jonnie said men don't have a mental health problem. They have a purpose crisis. This week he gets into what you actually do about it. In this episode Jonnie walks through the clarity section of the 3XC Formula — the first and most important step in the High Value Man system for living. Drawing on his own story, from a teenage dream of being a TV presenter to two and a half years of lost direction, he breaks down exactly why purpose disappears and what it takes to get it back. This isn't about setting goals. It's about reconnecting with who you actually are, what you stand for, and the reason you get out of bed that's bigger than just you. WHY THIS MATTERS If you know something is missing but can't put your finger on what it is, this episode is for you. A man without a clear purpose doesn't just feel flat. He becomes difficult to be around. His relationship suffers. His kids stop being inspired by him. His motivation drifts in and out. And he mistakes that drift for a motivation problem when it's actually a commitment problem. Purpose isn't something that lands in your lap. It's something you consciously create. Here's how. HIGH VALUE MOMENTS The TV presenter story: what two and a half years of lost direction actually feels like Step one: getting honest about what's working and what isn't in your life right now Step two: your values and why living out of alignment with them creates constant low level frustration The rumble strip: how to recognise when you've drifted off course Step three: your blueprint and why it's not a vision board Why motivation isn't the answer and commitment is The fitness story: how connecting your why to something bigger than yourself changes everything What a man with a clear purpose looks like to his wife, his kids, and everyone around him TAKE THE HIGH VALUE MAN SCORECARDGet your life MOT in under two minutes. The Men’s Mental Health Lie - What Men Need To Realise Instead

Frustrated that you don't feel like the man you want to be? Find out where your energy and focus are leaking. 👉 https://highvaluemanproject.com/score Everywhere you look, men are being told they have a "mental health problem." We see the posters in public toilets and service stations telling us "it’s okay to talk." But for most successful men, that message is missing the mark. In this episode, Jonnie Jensen argues that the help being offered to men isn't working because it isn't solving the right problem. Most mid-life dads don't have a clinical mental health issue; they have a Purpose Crisis. When a man loses his "Why," he stops showing up in his marriage and for his kids . He enters the Low Value Death Spiral, where burnout and quiet despair become a "four out of ten" existence that too many men simply put up with . Jonnie shares the raw truth of his own journey, from the "five-year slide" of miscarriages and business pressure to the moment the road finally ran out in January 2015 . WHY THIS MATTERSIf you see a mental health poster and think, "That's for someone else, I'm just stressed," you are in denial about a situation that is quietly grinding you down . This episode is about identifying where you sit on the spectrum between Suicide and Thriving . It explores why reclaiming your purpose is like topping up the air in your car's tyres before you hit the central reservation . HIGH VALUE MOMENTS 05:18 The Thriving Spectrum: Why a "4 out of 10" life is a danger sign 11:32 The "That Ain't Me" Trap: Why men switch off from mental health talk 13:49 The 5-Year Slide: Miscarriages, redundancy, and the dream of "having it all" . 20:26 Running Out of Road: When the weight you carry exceeds your capacity . 28:48 The 3XC Shift: Reclaiming Clarity to inspire your wife and kids again TAKE THE HIGH VALUE MAN SCORECARD Get your "Life MOT" in under two minutes. Deciding Enough Is Enough — Drained to Unstoppable

Frustrated that you don't feel like the man you want to be? Find out where your energy and focus are leaking. 👉 https://highvaluemanproject.com/score There's a moment every man reaches. Not a dramatic moment. Not a breakdown. Just a quiet, honest reckoning with himself where he looks at the life he's living and decides he's done accepting it. That's what this episode is about. In this episode of The Jonnie Jensen Show, Jonnie Jensen gets real. Driving along, no script, no studio — just honesty about the journey that led to the High Value Man Project, why so many men stay stuck in situations that are slowly draining them, and what it actually takes to decide enough is enough. This is episode two of the Drained to Unstoppable series, before the live workshop on Tuesday April 28th. WHY THIS MATTERS Too many men are living a four or five out of ten experience. Not in crisis. Not falling apart. Just putting up with it. Telling themselves if I can just get through this period, everything will be okay. Waiting for the moment it gets better on its own. It doesn't get better on its own. Jonnie knows this because he lived it. Four years of struggle inside his marriage. Three miscarriages. Financial pressure. A business course he could barely focus on because everything at home was falling apart. Putting up with second best until finally realising "enough is enough". As Jonnie puts it in this episode — when you decide you're no longer willing to be the drained version of yourself, that's when everything transforms. That's when you take control and start to live the high value life.
