I'm a person sincerely interested in seeking religious truth, for years I studied and did my best to seek out the truth about God's existence, the existence and nature of the afterlife and which religion might be true and/or endorsed by God. At the end of my searching, I came to the conclusion that Christianity is the religion that God wants me to follow and believe. I hope to help other "real seekers" in their journey to finding the same truth that I did.

    Shroud Wars Reviewed: The Gary Habermas vs. Hugh Farey Debate

    I return to Guy Powell's Podcast, The Backstory on the Shroud of Turin, to review another one of my Shroud Wars debate; this time, the debate between Resurrection scholar Dr. Gary Habermas (the Pro-Shroud side) and the Ultimate Shroud skeptic Hugh Farey. Majority consensus is that Gary clearly won this debate against Hugh in proving the truth of the Pro-Shroud side, but why?     A Naked Blue Skeptic & the Shroud of Mezzo (A Pro-Shroud of Turin Response)

    To my horror, I was alerted to a video with the horrifying image of naked blue skeptic claiming to have debunked the Shroud of Turin. Naturally, as a Pro-Shroud expert, I was curious to see what this nude dude had come up with and what unfolded before my eyes was 30 mins of the stupidest Shroud skeptical shenanigans I have ever seen- and remember I've hosted Hugh Farey on my show, so that is saying something!The skeptics name is Mezzo and thanks to a fan of the show, Irish, I wanted to keep an eye out for this show supposedly debunking the Pro-Shroud side.     Congratulations & Reservations: An Initial Reaction to Joe Schmidt's Conversion (w/ Phil Bair)

    Being personal friends with Caleb Jackson, I knew of the Atheist philosopher professor Joe Schmidt's current leanings toward Christianity for about a year or so before he announced his conversion. Joe even subscribed to my channel to follow some of my Shroud Wars shows and episodes on Eucharistic miracles from time to time (although I think he has totally forgotten me at this point lol).Anyways, I wanted to wait and not do an immediate and uninformed reaction to Joe's conversion, which I think is a great initial step toward Christ's kingdom on Joe's part- I truly welcome Joe to God's family as a brother in Christ and congratulate him accordingly; however Phil Bair felt it was necessary to provide an initial reaction to at least cover some general and initial reservations we had to his embracing of Catholicism on grounds that don't seem entirely logically or Biblically sound.     NASA engineer, teacher and author Steven Cole has written a new book, Catch the Wave: Experience the Thrill of Spirit Empowered Living, where he shares his view that the Holy Spirit is not meant to remain a vague doctrine sitting at the edges of church life, but the active, guiding presence of God in the everyday life of believers. Cole says the modern church often talks about God the Father and Jesus while neglecting the Holy Spirit, even though the Spirit is presented as God’s presence, God’s voice, and God’s power on earth.
