    Thanksgiving Arranges The Atmosphere

Gratitude is everywhere, and yet so little of it lands anywhere. Phil Pringle makes a simple case that changes the whole practice: thankfulness has to be given to someone. To be thankful to nothing is not humility, it is impossibility. And when thanks is directed to God, it becomes the strongest antidote there is to a complaining, critical, sour spirit. Paul writes from prison that we give thanks always for all things, not simply in them, and he means it, because the chains that hold him become the very thing that carries the gospel into Caesar's household. Thanksgiving opens your eyes to the doors God is opening. Complaining opens your eyes only to everything that is wrong. There are three places to aim it. Thank God for your past, and Jesus walks back into your history and heals what you have been carrying. Thank God for your present, for the beautiful and the basic alike, and you live in continual celebration rather than continual grievance. Thank God for your future, specifically, for the things you are still asking Him to do, because vocal faith gives thanks before the answer arrives. Ten lepers are healed and one returns. A nine year old girl lies in a coma, written off by every doctor in the room, and the word of the Lord says she will not die. Thanksgiving arranges the atmosphere around your life. Choose carefully what you fill it with. Do Our Babies Go to Heaven? Chris Pringle's Story

There is a grief that has no funeral, no photographs and no words, and so it gets shut away in a small room where nobody has to look at it. Chris Pringle knows that room. She lost a baby as a young mum, went straight back to work, and told almost nobody for twenty years, until an ordinary evening at home opened the door she had kept firmly closed. What followed was not simply a memory returning. It was a revelation of a son alive, grown and laughing in heaven, and of a God who had been keeping him all along. Jesus welcomes the little children, and heaven is fuller of them than most of us imagine. Chris and Phil tell the whole story here, from the sculpture of an angel carrying a child that Phil found in an American gallery, to the conference where women across an entire auditorium finally wept over losses they had never named, to the blue and pink cards that gave those children a name at last. This is grief brought into the light, mourning turned to dancing, and a promise worth holding onto: these children cannot wait to meet their mothers, and Christ is the door through which we come. Peace Is a Person. Faith Is a Decision.

How do you stay peaceful in a world this chaotic? When worry arrives uninvited, like a storm blowing every fuse in the house, peace can feel impossible to manufacture. But peace was never meant to be a feeling you summon on demand. It's a person. Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and when you cast your care on Him in patient, specific prayer, a genuine transfer takes place and His peace settles your soul. Phil Pringle shows you that faith is something you switch back on, intentionally, by speaking God's promises over your own heart until faith rises. From Romans 5:1 through the first steps of faith, desire and decision, you discover a God who does not merely soothe emotions but brings real solutions to real problems. Every problem exists for His glory, and a decisive, single-minded heart is where His guidance and stability are found. Delight yourself in Him, make your move, and watch peace hold you steady. How to Switch Off Anxiety in One Move

Why can't we switch off the worry? It washes in uninvited, spins the mind, and leaves an aching void no amount of noise or entertainment can fill. Phil Pringle traces anxiety to its deepest root: a quiet disconnection from God, an unsure feeling about whether we are truly right with Him. The answer is not striving to be good enough, because no one can be righteous enough to stand before a holy God on their own record. It is the gift of Christ, who lived a perfect life and imputes it to everyone who believes, so the Father's words over His Son become the Father's words over you. That is where peace floods the heart and travels through mind, soul, and body. Faith is the foundation, and it is something you switch on by decision rather than wait to feel. When the doubt comes, and it will, you get up and believe again, just as Elijah prayed seven times before the rain broke and the widow won the judge through sheer persistence. Take up the Word as your sword, speak the promises of God over your soul, and watch the power of God move into whatever you are facing today. From Ouija Boards to the Holy Spirit: My Radical Encounter

What happens when someone goes looking for the supernatural in all the wrong places — and the real God meets them anyway? Phil Pringle shares the story of his own conversion at 19, when curiosity about Ouija boards opened a door to genuine spiritual torment, and a small Pentecostal church in Christchurch, New Zealand, became the place where everything turned. From a bike ride across town with his girlfriend Christine, to a room full of elderly believers laying hands on him, to the moment fear left and the Holy Spirit filled him — this is testimony that the same God who delivered then delivers now. This story is more than nostalgia. It is a reminder that the power of the Holy Spirit is not theory — it transforms lives, breaks chains, and births revival. Within nine months of that night, over a thousand people came to Christ out of a single house. That same Spirit still moves. He still fills, still frees, still sends. Whatever door has been opened in your life, and whatever darkness has tried to settle in, the name of Jesus is still the name above every name. Listen, and let faith rise that God can do it again — in you, through you, and around you. Pentecost: The Day the Church Was Born

Phil Pringle explores Acts 2, describing the Holy Spirit’s outpouring at Pentecost, Peter’s Spirit-filled sermon, and the immediate response of 3,000 people coming to faith and being baptised. The episode highlights the early church’s rhythms—apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, prayer, daily meeting, and radical sharing—and calls listeners to live as a Spirit-filled, unified community every day. From Upper Room to Fire: The Day Pentecost Changed Everything

Phil Pringle explores Acts 1–2, recounting the disciples gathered in unity, Jesus' family joining in prayer, and the sudden coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. He explains how the Spirit brought unique passion and power to each believer, enabled miraculous speech in other languages, and launched the church as witnesses to the nations. Along the way Phil emphasizes the importance of assembling together, remaining unified, and recognizing the Spirit's work rather than mocking it, closing with encouragement to be filled with boldness and purpose. Preparing Your Heart for Pentecost (Acts 1:1-11)

Fifty days. That's the gap between an empty tomb and a room full of fire, and it's no accident. On Sinai, the law came down and three thousand people died. On Pentecost, the Spirit came down and three thousand people were born again. The same number, the same mountain of God, but two completely different kingdoms: one that brings death, and one that brings life. This is where the book of Acts begins, and Phil Pringle opens it up to show you why Luke, a doctor, a man of logic and science, ended up writing more about the Holy Spirit than almost anyone else in the New Testament. Because once you've seen what the Spirit actually does, you can't unsee it. Jesus tells His disciples to wait in Jerusalem, and they pray for ten days straight before heaven breaks open. That same pattern is the invitation to you. The baptism of the Holy Spirit isn't a one-time charge. It's a life lived plugged in, recharged again and again in the presence of God. Without that power, we're a phone with a dead battery: full of potential, capable of nothing. With it, we become witnesses to the ends of the earth, ready for the day Jesus returns the same way He left. As you walk towards Pentecost Sunday, let your hunger rise. Wait on Him. Get filled again. The Spirit who fell then is still falling now. What to Do When Your Faith Crashes and Nothing Works

Faith crashes are real, and nobody talks about them honestly enough. Every person who has ever prayed with everything they had — for healing, for restoration, for a door to open — knows what it feels like when the answer doesn't come. The question isn't whether it will happen. The question is what you do when it does. Phil Pringle draws from decades of pastoral experience and his own story of public setback — including eight years of council rejections and front-page newspaper headlines — to offer something more powerful than polished optimism: a clear, grounded path back to faith. He teaches the difference between aggressive faith and quiet trust, reminding us that Romans 8 holds even when we can't see how. He points to Paul, bitten by a snake after surviving a shipwreck, choosing to see opportunity where others saw catastrophe — and sparking revival across an entire island. The breakthrough, Phil reminds us, always comes at the end of many attempts. The last blow of the hammer is only possible because of every blow that came before it. If you're in the middle of a faith crash, this is the word you need to hear today. Is That God Speaking? Here's How to Know

Every believer wants to hear from God — but most of us aren't sure we actually do. We wonder whether the quiet inner nudge is divine guidance or just our own thinking, and so we ignore it, go our own way, and often end up right back where we started. In this powerful short teaching, Phil Pringle brings honest, practical clarity to one of the most personal questions in the Christian life: what does God's voice actually sound like, and how do you know when He's speaking to you? Drawing on decades of walking with the Holy Spirit, Phil shares how God communicates through peace rather than confusion, through a quiet inner knowing that grows clearer the more you learn to trust it. He recounts a remarkable miracle where a nine-year-old girl, declared brain dead by her doctors, walked out of hospital within three days — the turning point a direct word of the Lord spoken in faith. He reflects on Isaiah's promise that you will hear a voice behind you saying this is the way, and on Paul's reminder in 2 Timothy that God has given us not a spirit of fear, but power, love, and a sound mind. The bottom line, Phil says, is this: God is not a poor communicator. It's more often that we're not great at hearing. Slow down, seek Him, trust what you sense, and seek wise confirmation. His voice will become clearer. You can stake your life on it. How I Enter God’s Presence Every Morning

People often ask me, “What exactly do you do in your prayer time?” For nearly 40 years, I’ve started my day by setting aside an hour to draw near to God. Usually early in the morning, before the noise of the day begins, I take that time to focus completely on Him. I don’t follow a rigid formula, but I do follow a pattern that has helped me stay consistent and connected. I base my prayer time on the Lord’s Prayer and the pattern of the Old Testament Tabernacle. I begin with thanksgiving. Then I move into praise and worship. I take time to cleanse my heart before God, confessing anything that needs to be put right. I speak Scripture out loud. I pray in the Spirit. I intercede for people. I declare God’s promises over situations in my life and in the lives of others. It’s not complicated. And it’s not mechanical. It’s fellowship. How To Read The Bible So It Actually Builds Your Faith

If your passion for the Bible has grown cold, this episode will reignite it. In this message, we unpack the life-changing power of God’s Word and why it is far more than history, poetry, or a list of rules. Scripture is life to your spirit, health to your soul, clarity in confusion, and strength in temptation. Just as Jesus defeated the enemy by speaking the Word, we are reminded that when we plant Scripture in our hearts and speak it out, it builds our faith and equips us for spiritual battle. The Word renews the mind, brings wisdom, restores joy, and gives clear direction in a world that constantly redefines truth. We also explore five practical ways to receive the Word: hearing, reading, studying, memorising, and meditating. Meditation is where Scripture truly takes root, where it moves from information to transformation. The Bible warns us, guides us, cleanses us, and rewards those who live by it. This episode is a heartfelt invitation to fall in love with the Word again and allow the Holy Spirit to awaken fresh hunger, fresh revelation, and fresh power in your everyday walk with God. How to Know God’s Will for Your Life (Without the Guesswork)

How can you know God’s will for your life without second-guessing every step you take? In this empowering message, Ps Phil Pringle teaches that God’s will is not a hidden mystery waiting to be discovered, but a relationship that invites surrender and trust. Instead of waiting for a dramatic sign or an audible voice, we are called to walk forward in faith, knowing that God guides those who are already willing to say “yes.” Drawing from decades of pastoral wisdom and key scriptures like Psalm 32, Isaiah 30, and James 3, this message unpacks how God leads us through peace, wisdom, counsel, and His Word. You’ll be encouraged to make decisions with a sound mind, trust God to redirect when needed, and embrace the freedom of walking with Him day by day. If you have ever struggled with indecision, fear of making the wrong choice, or over-spiritualising every step, this teaching will bring clarity and peace. God’s will is good, pleasing, and perfectly fitted for you. As you commit your ways to Him, He promises to direct your steps and take joy in your journey. How To Know What God Is Calling You To

This insightful devotional explores one of the most common and deeply personal questions believers ask: How do I know the will of God? Drawing from decades of pastoral experience, the message anchors us in Romans 12:2, revealing that God’s will is not mysterious or frightening, but good, acceptable, and perfect. Rather than being dark or restrictive, God’s will carries a deep sense of inner rightness—a harmony where timing, people, purpose, and peace come together, even when circumstances are challenging. A key emphasis is the role of peace as God’s internal guide. From Colossians 3:15, we’re reminded that the peace of God is meant to rule in our hearts—acting as the final decision-maker. Confusion, chaos, and inner turmoil are not signs of divine leading; peace is. Even when something seems spiritually noble, moving ahead without peace can be presumption rather than obedience. The message also gently reframes our understanding of timing. God may give us a vision long before He fulfils it, using seasons of waiting and trial to transform us into the person capable of carrying that calling. Biblical examples like Peter, Jacob, and Paul reveal a consistent pattern: promises are given early, but character is formed over time. Paul’s journey to Rome—fulfilled through shipwreck, imprisonment, and unexpected hardship—shows that God’s will can look very different from our expectations, yet still be perfectly aligned with His purpose. Ultimately, this devotional calls us to value God’s presence above comfort or convenience. When His presence is with us, even difficult circumstances can be the perfect will of God. True assurance doesn’t come from ideal conditions, but from knowing we are exactly where God wants us to be, walking in peace, trust, and surrender. When Trials Reveal Your True Strength: Peter's Journey from Denial to Destiny

This powerful message takes us deep into Luke 22:31, where we witness one of the most mystifying exchanges in Scripture: Satan actually asking God for permission to test Peter. What unfolds is a masterclass in understanding divine purpose within our trials. The imagery of wheat being sifted becomes central—when wheat is thrown into the air, the wind blows away the chaff while the true seed falls back to the ground. Whatever can be blown away in our lives during trials will be removed, leaving only what is genuine and valuable. Peter's greatest weakness, his fear of man's opinion, became the very area Satan targeted. Yet Jesus didn't pray that Peter would avoid the trial; He prayed that Peter's faith would not fail. This distinction is crucial for us to understand: God often allows us to go through difficulties not to destroy us, but to strengthen us. Peter's journey from denying Christ three times to boldly preaching at Pentecost and converting 3,000 souls shows us that our moments of failure are not the end of our story. They are often the beginning of our transformation. The same weakness that caused Peter to crumble became his greatest strength after the Holy Spirit filled him. We discover that Jesus is never disillusioned with us because He never had illusions about us in the first place. He sees our failures as opportunities for transformation, and our trials as pathways to becoming who He envisioned us to be. Finding Peace Through the Shepherd: A Journey Through Psalm 23

This meditation on Psalm 23 invites us into a profound exploration of peace in the midst of anxiety. We're reminded that contentment begins with recognising the Lord as our shepherd—not just our Saviour, but our Lord who sits at the centre of our lives. The psalm reveals a beautiful progression: from declaring we shall not want, to being made to lie down in green pastures, to walking beside still waters where our souls find restoration. What's particularly striking is the emphasis on presence over circumstance. When we walk through valleys shadowed by death, we're called to keep walking, not to set up camp in our suffering. The secret isn't the absence of enemies but the presence of a table prepared before us, abundant and overflowing. This isn't just ancient poetry—it's a practical roadmap for reducing anxiety by shifting our focus from what we lack to who we have. The imagery of oil anointing our heads and cups running over speaks to God's nature as a God of abundance, not scarcity. When we truly grasp that goodness and mercy are chasing us down rather than past mistakes haunting us, we step into a dimension of peace that transforms our emotional and spiritual landscape. Awakening Your Faith: Speaking Peace to Life's Storms

This sermon addresses the epidemic of anxiety and worry in modern life by examining Jesus' calming of the storm in Mark 4. The central message is that Jesus desires believers to wake up to their own authority and faith rather than living in constant anxiety. Through the story of Jesus sleeping during the storm while His disciples panicked, I illustrate that Christ wants us to exercise the same authority He demonstrated—speaking to our circumstances and rebuking the chaos that enters our lives. The sermon emphasises that anxiety comes uninvited but can be combated through understanding our spiritual authority in Christ. Rather than waking Jesus with worried prayers, believers are called to wake up their own faith and actively rebuke the demonic forces behind confusion and distress. The message concludes with the powerful truth that God's peace, which surpasses understanding, will guard our hearts and minds when we exercise our authority in Christ. Finding Rest Through God's Presence: Overcoming Anxiety by Waiting on the Lord

This sermon addresses the practical challenge of casting our cares upon God and finding genuine relief from anxiety. I emphasises that simply praying a quick prayer to release our worries is insufficient; instead, we must intentionally spend time waiting in God's presence. Through this deliberate practice of waiting, an exchange occurs—we receive God's strength while He takes our burdens. The message highlights the importance of daily, distraction-free time with God, the spiritual practice of speaking in tongues as a means of rest and refreshing, and the transformative power of being mindful of God's presence throughout our daily lives. The sermon concludes with an encouragement to prioritise time with the Lord as essential for experiencing the peace and restoration He promises. How to Starve Anxiety & Feed Your Soul on God’s Word

Mental health struggles are real – and if you’ve been searching for how to manage anxiety, deal with stress, or just find peace, you’re not alone. But science can’t solve what is spiritual at its core. This message tackles one of our most pressing struggles: anxiety. Drawing from Philippians 4, we discover that managing anxiety isn't about wishing our circumstances would change, but about making intentional changes in what we allow into our minds and spirits. The apostle Paul's instruction to 'think on these things' - things that are lovely, pure, and of good report - isn't just wishful thinking; it's a practical command we can actually obey. The key insight here is revolutionary: we become what we feed on. Just as a starved lion loses to a well-fed dog, our anxiety loses power when we stop feeding it through negative media, toxic conversations, and endless streams of fear-inducing content. Instead, when we nourish ourselves with God's Word through meditation - not casual reading, but deep, repetitive chewing like a cow chews its cud - that Word becomes engrafted into our souls. The beautiful imagery from Psalm 1 shows us that meditating on Scripture day and night makes us like trees planted by rivers of water, naturally bearing fruit without struggle. This isn't about striving; it's about positioning ourselves where the life-giving water of God's Word can be absorbed into our very being, transforming us from glory to glory.
