PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #163 The Gobby Granny, the Fabians and the Fight for Sanity

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com I kicked off this week’s show with a proper ramble through the little things that make life feel human — seaside walks, Halloween versus Bonfire Night, odd memories of bargain-bin fireworks, my son’s impressive new phone camera setup, a surprisingly lovely chat with a listener I met out walking, and even a bit about finally getting stuck into cleaning the house. We also had a laugh about acupuncture, old-fashioned nursing, architecture, and the strange comforts of poetry, before the evening took a much more serious turn. My main guest was Debi Evans, the "Gobby Granny", and we got into a wide-ranging conversation about the Fabian Society, Labour politics, the London School of Economics, the NHS, Palantir, surveillance, AI note-taking in healthcare, mass immigration, propaganda, and the importance of rebuilding real-world community. In the final hour Monica Schaefer joined us from Canada, where we spoke about time-zone absurdities, prison letters from Alfred Schaefer, bats and storks as little signs of hope, poetry, memory, and why beauty, truth and human connection still matter in an increasingly synthetic world. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #162 Clocks, Fabians and Traitors with Joss and Eric

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com Tonight I opened with the great biannual absurdity of the clocks changing, and Eric and I had plenty to say about the confusion, the faff and the wider sense that modern life is designed to make simple things harder than they need to be. From there we moved into a Dutch court case drawing in big names including Bill Gates, Albert Bourla and Mark Rutte, and then into a broader discussion about media silence, public trust, publishing, banking, law, and the need to get clear ideas into short, readable formats that ordinary people will actually engage with. In the second half I was joined by Joss for a spirited and often very funny conversation about the Fabian Society, captured institutions, community resilience, local self-organisation, policing, authority and what meaningful resistance might look like at street level. Along the way we touched on books, old and new media, practical mutual aid, underground publishing, the importance of morale, and why rebuilding real community may be one of the few sane ways through the mess we are living in. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #161 Paul Gunson, Eli James and the Spiritual War Behind Modern Politics

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com After an irksome start wrestling with streaming gremlins, I settled in with Paul Gunson for a wide-ranging first conversation that moved from childhood questions about faith to biblical history, giants, Revelation, the antichrist, Noah, Nimrod, Gog and Magog, and the way ancient themes may still be playing out in modern politics and culture. We also got into debt, usury, gold, jubilees, birth certificates, trust law, CBDCs, and the claim that much of today’s political and financial disorder only makes sense when viewed through a spiritual and scriptural lens. In the final hour, Eli James joined me for a looser but no less lively exchange on prohibition, Rockefeller influence, social engineering, the French Revolution, communism, egalitarian fantasies, and the practical incompetence of ideologues who want to rule other people’s lives. Along the way we managed to squeeze in Kipling, Jeff Beck, doors, fridges, prisons, practical life, and the broader problem of how modern people are manipulated into accepting systems that work against common sense, community, and human dignity. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #160 With Miles Johnston and Etta Volk

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com This evening’s show began in gloriously frazzled fashion, with Rumble refusing to cooperate and forcing us to improvise, but we settled in soon enough with the usual mix of absurdity and substance. I caught up with Eric Von Essex for a meandering and very entertaining opening hour that ranged from swollen front doors, broken locks and chainsaw-based home maintenance to the practical realities of trying to keep a crumbling house and studio in one piece. We also touched on the recent FFT solution summit, the challenge of keeping on top of a growing network of contacts and guests, and the idea of eventually turning the shed into a proper in-person interview space rather than always broadcasting remotely. In hour two, Miles Johnston joined me for a wide-ranging discussion on antigravity, Victor Grebennikov, insect wing structures, Coral Castle, megalithic knowledge, Stonehenge, Tartaria, Antarctica, pole shifts and Lucy Wyatt’s book Approaching Chaos. In the final hour, Etta Volk brought her usual forceful energy to a conversation about propaganda, historical narratives, censorship, immigration, social fracture and the sense that younger generations may now be more willing to challenge official stories than their parents ever were. All in all, a chaotic, funny and provocative edition of the programme that somehow held together despite the technical gremlins at the start. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #158 John Briggs, Banking Fraud and a Seven-Year Sentence

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com I opened this week’s show in a thoroughly autumnal mood, reflecting on the first real glow of the season, the strange sweetness of late September, and a memorial gathering that brought old friends, old bands and old memories back into sharp focus. From there we wandered, as we do, through Henley, black-and-white dogtooth jackets, Frank Bellamy’s magnificent comic artwork, Heath Robinson, harmonicas, Motown, and the sort of English melancholy that seems to arrive with falling conkers and warm evenings at the tail end of summer. The heart of the episode was a long and lively conversation with John Briggs, author of Alice and the Money Tree, Revisited, about debt-based money, usury, political power and the problem of how to explain financial fraud in plain English. We talked about history, propaganda, children’s stories, comics, Belloc, The Wizard of Oz, and the need to get foundational ideas across simply enough that ordinary people can grasp what sits underneath the whole system. In the final hour, Monica Schaefer joined us with grave news about her brother Alfred Schaefer, who has been sentenced in Germany to seven years in prison for speech. Monica spoke movingly about prisoners of war in the present age, the use of force when argument fails, and why the answer cannot be fear or silence but greater clarity, courage and resolve. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #157 · With Ana, Dede and Miles

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com I opened the show in gloriously ramshackle fashion with Eric Von Essex, a moon-over-the-sea weather report, and far too much excitement about my broken kitchen door and the unexpectedly heroic walk to the studio. From there, the evening turned into a genuinely rich conversation with Anna Isabel, who explored astrology as far more than star signs and used it as a springboard into something bigger: the long imbalance between ‘yin’ and ‘yang’ ways of living, the loss of the sacred, and the kind of civilisational values that have shaped power, hierarchy and control. We also wandered through Druids, Cathars, chivalry, community, and why so much of history seems to celebrate conquest while ignoring gentler, more collaborative societies. In hour two, after a brief wrestle with the Internet, Dee Dee Hilliard joined me to talk about CABI — the Community Assembly of the British Isles — and the practical side of restoring community life, lawful self-governance, mutual support and local resilience. We touched on food, councils, trust, self-sufficiency and why real change may come from people quietly stepping back into responsibility together. Later, Dr Miles Fleetwood dropped in to discuss natural health, nutrition, acupuncture, depleted soils, Chinese medicine and the strange gap between modern scientific confidence and what our bodies actually need. All in all, one of those evenings where sheds, sovereignty, spirit and supplements somehow ended up sharing the same table. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #156 · David Adelman The People’s Lawyer & Etta Volk

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com NOTE: we had an Issue connecting David to hence the slightly shorter show. I kicked off episode 156 with Eric Von Essex for one of our gloriously daft shed reports before we veered into the far less amusing business of war rhetoric, conscription chatter and the increasingly absurd language coming out of politics. The main guest was David Adelman, better known as The People’s Lawyer, who joined me after a bout of technical gremlins and gave a fascinating account of how he moved from law into education, public speaking and rights-based work. We talked about his book School - No Place for Children, the failures of modern schooling, the Prussian roots of compliance culture, the misuse of language in legal settings, and why he believes people need to understand the roles and assumptions the system quietly persuades them to accept. In the final stretch, Etta Volk joined us from Chicago for a transatlantic catch-up on the state of the media, political theatre, social pressure, migration and the mood among ordinary people in both the UK and the US. We also got into the collapse of public trust, generational shifts, and whether younger people may end up dismantling broken institutions simply by refusing to submit to them. Add in harmonicas, fruit crumble, a few scandalously British food references and the usual late-night mischief, and it turned into a lively, wide-ranging show with more than a few unexpected turns. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #155 · Brainwashing for Beginners

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com Tonight I went gloriously off-piste before getting to the heart of the matter. We began with a ramble through names, old television, streaking, pipe smoking, nostalgia and the strange way the seasons now seem to be dictated for us, before settling into a broader discussion about newspapers, satire and whether we ought to create our own irreverent publication in the spirit of the old trench papers. From there, I reflected on Hilaire Belloc, the decline in journalistic standards, and the way headlines and institutions now seem less interested in informing people than in steering them. Along the way we touched on the power of humour to tell the truth, the loss of self-reliance, and even found time for a passionate diversion into blackberry crumble, pizza dough, and a marvellous little 1950s-flavoured clip about time travel and modern neuroses. In the second half, the conversation turned more directly to brainwashing, belief, propaganda and the mechanisms by which people are conditioned not to question what they are told. We talked about democracy, juries, law, hidden power, institutional decay, and several books and essays that have shaped these ideas for us, including works by Belloc, Jason Christoff, Tupper Saussy and others. Rudyard Kipling provided the soundtrack, with AI-rendered versions of The Stranger and Tommy prompting a discussion about nationhood, loyalty and cultural memory. In the final hour, Eli James joined us from America for a lively exchange on propaganda, social engineering, media narratives, education, mass persuasion and the wider spiritual and political malaise of the age. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #154 · Mike Burke on Guns, Common Law and the Claim That the Throne Is Vacant

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com Tonight I was joined by Mike Burke for a deep and provocative exploration of firearms law, the English constitutional tradition, and the long historical drift from common law into what he argues is an executive-controlled administrative system. We began with Dunblane, Hungerford and Port Arthur as key turning points in modern gun control, before moving into the Bill of Rights, the right to bear arms, the role of Hansard, the Coronation Oath, Magna Carta, and the gradual transfer of power away from the people and into ministers, policy, and discretion. Mike’s central argument was stark: many of the rights people assume have vanished may in fact have been buried under layers of policy, legalese and institutional corruption rather than lawfully extinguished. In the second part of the show, Monika joined us and widened the lens further. We talked about inversion in modern society, attacks on the family, the moral confusion aimed at children, and Canada’s conversion therapy law as an example of the upside-down age we’re living through. We also touched on beauty, culture, bells, architecture, joy, and the need to stay spiritually grounded while confronting systems that seem bent on destruction. If there was one thread running through the whole evening, it was this: we are living through profound illegitimacy, and the way out begins with remembering who we are, what was handed down to us, and what we must now recover. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #153 · Max Igan on Surveillance, Sovereignty and the War on Consciousness

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com Tonight I was joined by Max Igan for a wide-ranging and lively conversation that moved from media control, censorship and surveillance technology to money, power, habit, and the deeper psychological machinery that keeps people compliant. Max reflected on how he first entered alternative broadcasting, from early radio in 2008 through years of films and talk shows, and we talked about why so many people can feel that something is badly wrong while still struggling to break the habits that keep them tied to the system. Along the way we touched on free speech platforms, data harvesting, digital dependence, and the way modern life steadily trades human skill, memory and independence for convenience. In the second half, the conversation widened further into myth, consciousness and self-mastery. Max was briefly joined by Ivana of REBEL Psychotherapy, who offered a thoughtful perspective on inner freedom, psychological sovereignty and the need for genuine shadow work if people are to stop reacting mechanically to the pressures placed upon them. We also found time for books, storytelling, Tolkien, A. A. Milne, Van Morrison, and the cultural loss that comes when imagination is replaced by screens. After Max headed off to see friends in Croatia, Eric Von Essex joined me for a spirited closing stretch that somehow ended with the glorious notion of a national day of shouting the government away. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #152 · With Robin Hood Hr 1 and Richard Cumbers Hr 3

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com Tonight I opened the show with Eric Von Essex and a very English grumble about the heat, the odd light from the eclipse, and what this relentless weather might mean for crops, gardens and the wider food supply. That led us into a lively discussion about preparedness, local farming, hedgerow foraging and the simple wisdom of keeping practical stores in the house. Robin Hood then joined me to preview the legal ground he planned to cover on his Friday show, including questions around courts, jurisdiction, policing, language and how ordinary people might begin to challenge systems they believe are being misrepresented to them. In the second hour, after more conversation ranging from food, farming, culture and politics to books and old-fashioned common sense, Richard Cumbers joined me from Ireland. We talked about the Pain Genie, energy medicine, self-care, suppressed technologies, the limits of conventional medicine and the importance of understanding health through energy, frequency and personal responsibility. It made for one of those wide-ranging evenings where weather, law, food, history and healing all seemed to connect into the same bigger picture. PEL #151 With Michelle & Mirabel and Etta Hr 3

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com This week on Paul English Live, I was joined by Michelle and Maribel for a sobering and detailed conversation about alleged land registry fraud, insolvency abuse, court procedure, and the way property, data and finance can be used against ordinary people. From subject access requests and title records to court orders, bankruptcies and enforcement, we explored the claim that what looks administrative on the surface can become a weapon when institutions stop protecting the public and start protecting systems of power. We also got into the bigger constitutional and financial questions underneath it all: the role of HM Land Registry, the FCA, Companies House, TrustOnline, the courts, and the old question of who really controls money and therefore influence. Michelle and Maribel set out the campaign they are building, why they believe land and title rectification matters far beyond their own cases, and why they see this as part of a much wider battle over accountability, property rights and the rule of law. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #150 · With Justin "Bradbury Pound" Walker and Monika Schaefer

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com In episode 150, I was joined by Justin Walker for a wide-ranging and lively conversation on banking, money creation, the City of London, the Bank for International Settlements, and the history and significance of the Bradbury Pound. We talked through Justin’s remarkable path into monetary reform, including his family links to the establishment, the phone call that pointed him towards ‘Bradbury’, and the thinkers and books that shaped his view of sovereign money. From there we ranged across the Bank of England, common law, 1688, the Green movement, the Club of Rome, localism, county identity, and why so much of modern politics looks like theatre rather than representation. In the final hour, Monica Schaefer joined us from Canada to discuss the wider psychological and cultural war now being waged against ordinary people, including censorship, engineered dependency, language control, and the pressure being brought to bear on rural communities. Monica also gave an update on her brother Alfred’s imprisonment in Germany and where listeners can write to him. Along the way, Eric and I added the usual detours into history, humour, old machinery, monarchy, media deception, and the increasingly obvious gap between the world we’re told we live in and the one we can plainly see for ourselves. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #149 · Guests Charles Fernandez and Alexander Pohl

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com I started the show with a bit of midsummer moaning, some breakfast-and-Marmite chat, and the usual live-radio chaos before we were joined by Charles Fernandez. Once we’d fought through the gremlins, Charles gave us a proper tour of the Willoughby world: his new Friday night show, The Willoughby Surgery, and the wider system he’s built to help ordinary people deal with bailiffs, debt collectors, data abuse, facial recognition, and legal intimidation. We got into his practical tools, from Willoughby Genius and crisis prompts to DSAR workflows, data-breach challenges, and the broader aim of helping people understand the rules being used against them so they can respond with confidence rather than panic. In the second half, Alexander Pohl joined me for a wide-ranging conversation that began with his film Headwind and opened out into banking, green finance, wind parks, Sweden, social engineering, architecture, technology, fear, and the importance of actually living rather than merely consuming. Drawing on his years in banking and his move to rural Sweden, Alexander spoke about the fraudulence he came to see inside the green investment world, the making of Headwind, and his current work around retreats, breathwork and reconnecting people with nature. We also wandered into deeper territory: conflict, freedom, truth, experience, death, and why gratitude, humour and staying human may be the best answer to a system that wants us anxious, passive and dependent. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #148 · English, Not British? Juicy & Lucy on Identity, Law and the System

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com Tonight I opened with one of those properly rambling midsummer editions of the show: heatwave moans, clouds, phones, football, self-censorship, old comedy, old music, and the general feeling that modern life is far too noisy and overcomplicated. Eric and I chewed over the week’s headlines, the way public discussion is policed by discomfort and fear, and why humour, blunt speech and a bit of old-fashioned English stubbornness still matter. We also wandered through nostalgia for simpler tech, cheap calls, basic Nokia handsets, and why so much of the modern world seems designed to irritate rather than serve people. In the second half, Juicy and Lucy joined me for a fascinating and at times jaw-dropping conversation sparked by Graham Moore’s appearance last week. They talked through how discovering the distinction between “English” and “British” reframed their whole outlook, and they shared their own bruising experiences with banks, mortgages, land registry problems and institutional stonewalling. From there we got into the English constitution, common law, language, identity, old buildings, modern ugliness, and the importance of rebuilding understanding from first principles — whether through memes, children’s books, or simply learning to say clearly who we are and what we stand on. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #147 · Who Are the British? From Constitutional Law to Cosmic Weirdness

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com Tonight I ended up with one of those gloriously unpredictable live shows where the moving parts somehow made the whole thing more fun. In hour one I crossed streams with Graham Moore for a proper bit of “incestuous radio”, broadcasting into each other’s shows while we dug into identity, constitutional history, the meaning of “British”, and why words like England, Britain and British still matter. It was a lively, provocative conversation about law, language, sovereignty and the way political narratives get built and repeated until nobody stops to question them. In the second hour, Miles Johnston took us deep into crop circles, non-human intelligence, hidden bases, pocket dimensions and the wider question of reality itself, which certainly stretched the evening in a very different direction. Then Eli James joined me from the US for a looser closing conversation on America and Britain, media narratives, usury, folk culture, Thomas Massie, Rupert Lowe, Dan Bilzerian, old books worth revisiting, and why ordinary people are so often nothing like the caricatures pushed at them. In other words: constitutional law, cosmic weirdness and transatlantic truth talk, all in one night. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #146 · From Monster Mash to Mass Migration

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com I opened this week’s live show with the usual mix of chaos and comedy, including a wrong jingle, a heatwave moan, and a surprisingly gripping update on the mystery of my radio-shed internet woes. After a visit from Virgin Media, a new router, a replaced splitter and a dash to Currys, the gremlins appear to have been banished at last. From there we veered into social platforms, censorship, Telegram, Gab, BitChute, Treechat, and the creeping pressure of age-verification and control online, with Eric adding tales of DIY, electric bikes, SIM-powered internet and his usual perfectly improper mechanical wisdom. Later, Kizzi joined me for a gloriously free-ranging conversation that moved from music, bikes, maps, old family life and nostalgia into much heavier territory: migration, identity, tolerance, government overreach, scripture, race, history and who exactly gets to define culture, nationhood and belonging. We also talked about her Shine & Rise gathering in Bosham, Bernie Wrightson’s Frankenstein artwork, Monster Mash, independent music from John Fairhurst, and the broader question of how ordinary people push back locally when institutions seem rotten from top to bottom. In short: a very English evening of laughter, provocation, argument, memory, music and live-wire radio. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #145 · Summertime fun

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com In between the heatwave moaning, collapsing streams and general studio mayhem, Eric and I managed to cover a surprising amount of ground: British hot-weather absurdities, avocado-and-cocoa remedies, Marmite and coffee percolators, and the theatrical nonsense of modern political farewells. From there we drifted into a proper discussion about rights, entitlement, duty, free speech and the way language gets policed until people start censoring themselves before anyone else has to. In the third hour I was joined by Monica Schaefer, and we got into far weightier territory: the state of Canada, censorship law, political prisoners, manipulated tolerance, the war on clear moral judgement, and the wider cultural attack on family, nationhood and truth itself. We also talked about the corruption of institutions, the failure of the courts, and why so much of modern public life now feels like organised inversion. Messy technically, yes — but conversation-wise, one of the livelier and more wide-ranging shows we’ve had in a while. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #144 · Wi‑Fi 6/7 in Schools: What Parents Need to Know (with Andy from Wake TF Up)

Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com Tonight I opened episode 144 with a bit of housekeeping and humour, before welcoming Eric Von Essex and our guest Andy from Wake TF Up. We chatted about summer silliness, Scottish fans’ legendary thirst, and why our Thursday shows may now run two hours. Then we got serious: Andy laid out urgent concerns about Wi‑Fi 6/7 roll‑outs in UK schools, EMF exposure, and the increasing use of children’s biometrics. He explained his parent action pack of letters designed to force transparency and halt activations until proper safety evidence is produced. We also touched on censorship on X, the media’s selective hearing, and wider patterns of institutional capture affecting health, energy and education. In the second half, we compared lived experience with official narratives on public health, EMF, and energy policy, including the real‑world costs of wind power and the way insurance markets treat EMF risk. There was lively back‑and‑forth on personal mitigation (including nicotine anecdotes), the importance of lawful pushback, and why parents and grandparents must get proactive at school level. I closed with where to find Andy’s materials and an invitation to keep the conversation going in our community spaces.
