WWE Had the Worst Raw in a Decade, Busted Open Sold Out, and SummerSlam Preview | The Two Count July 28th

The worst Monday Night Raw in years and JD from New York and Jonathan Coachman are not holding back on this week's Two Count. The Danhausen and Joe Hendry concert segment with Ryan Garcia may be the single worst segment in Raw history. Coach was in creative for over a decade and cannot explain how this got approved. JD says he is done defending Triple H and is now openly waiting for his removal. Dominic Mysterio was the hottest heel in the industry eighteen months ago and is now wrestling a human money on a pole match at the second biggest event of the year. Bron Breakker is invisible. Carmelo Hayes does not exist. And WWE put the cell up on Raw as a go home segment and gave away half the spectacle before anyone has paid to see it at SummerSlam. On the AEW side, Redemption was one of the worst pay-per-views in company history. Ten matches, almost no story, Tony Khan moved the start time up and still ran nearly five hours. JD and Coach break down why Tony needs to stop booking paper views like a participation sport. Then the conversation everyone in the wrestling community is having. Busted Open Radio is now WWE Radio. If you thought last week's pro wrestling television was bad, you're in luck. This week was WORSE. Between AEW Redemption, and WWE Raw, Pro Wrestling hit ALL TIME LOWS this past week as we head into WWE SummerSlam this weekend. Busted Open Radio, Dave LeGreca's baby, caused some chaos on social media this weekend he announced Pro Wrestling Nation on Sirius XM is now WWE Radio, and Busted Open Radio will be apart of the new network? What does this mean for genuine pro wrestling media, and honest criticism? Will there be any of that left, or did WWE buy up the largest wrestling radio to control the narrative? What about covering ALL pro wrestling including AEW? On the actual television products, we had AEW Redemption from Montreal this past weekend, and it was the most unnecessary show possibly in all of 2026, that offered little to zero excitement heading into their biggest show of the year with AEW ALL IN in London. We will BRIEFLY review Redemption, and discuss if there was anything to pay attention to coming out of that PPV on Sunday. BOTH WWE & AEW SHOW US THIS WEEK THAT PRO WRESTLING SUCKS IN 2026 | TNT #156

Both WWE, and AEW have shown us this week why Pro Wrestling might just be worse in 2026 than it was in 2025. With WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, WWE Raw, and last week's AEW Dynamite, this may have been one of the worst weeks in all of Pro Wrestling all year. Saturday Night's Main Event was held at Madison Square Garden in New York, and was basically the NBA on TNT airing on Peacock. A complete celebration of the New York Knicks winning the NBA Finals so WWE can get a Sportscenter moment. What they did is further prove that the entire concept of Saturday Night's Main Event is a waste of everyone's time. But CM Punk and Cody Rhodes finally brought a little fire into their upcoming SummerSlam match, and Nick Aldis is returning to the ring at SummerSlam. WWE Raw was no better, giving us one of the worst Monday night show all year, with Roman Reigns once again skipping to come to work on Monday Night. Between 5 Judgement Day segments, and 5 Danhausen segments, Triple H may be having fun. The fans are not. Also, Rhea Ripley will remain the WWE Women's Champion but WWE will crown an Interim Champion at SummerSlam in here absence. Tom Brady is in talks to potential get involved with WWE and Logan Paul. A "popular" streamer accidently streams Penta without his mask on backstage. And, AJ Styles comments on WWE "buying" a promotion in Japan and fans freak out over why he said it. On the AEW side of things, Tony Khan did not have a great plan in place for AEW Redemption this coming weekend because he took the belt off MJF to give us Kevin Knight vs Kenny Omega for the AEW Championship? Who's "redemption" is this supposed to be? SummerSlam Tickets Are Collapsing, WWE Is Creatively Bankrupt, and Tony Khan Just Destroyed AEW Redemption | The Two Count

Less than two weeks from SummerSlam and WWE is in serious trouble. On this week's Two Count, JD from New York and Jonathan Coachman tackle ten topics starting with the real heat between CM Punk and Cody Rhodes after Saturday Night's Main Event and whether this feud has been given enough time to breathe going into the second biggest show of the year. Tom Brady and Logan Paul are apparently doing business together at WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia and JD hates everything about it. Nick Aldis is finally getting his match with Gunther after two years behind a desk, but JD thinks Gunther has fallen off a cliff since retiring John Cena and questions whether WWE even knows what they have in him anymore. Kenny Omega Is the AEW Champion, Cody Rhodes Needs to Turn Heel, and WWE Is Failing Gunther, Bron Breakker and SummerSlam | Two Count July 14th

Kenny Omega is the NEW AEW Champion and both JD from New York and Jonathan Coachman have a lot to say about it. On this week's Two Count, the guys break down ten topics across the biggest week in pro wrestling, starting with AEW Dynamite Beach Break pulling its highest rating in over two years with MJF and Kenny Omega in the main event, and why Tony Khan finally got something right by treating Dynamite like a mini pay-per-view. From there the conversation gets heated. The Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins contract signing on Raw fell completely flat and Roman made Seth look like an idiot on the microphone. CM Punk wins the WWE title on Raw in Chicago and his first interaction with Cody Rhodes on SmackDown was the most low-effort, lazy way to set up a SummerSlam main event. JD argues the match was made out of necessity because ticket sales are struggling, not because Triple H had a plan. The brand split needs to end immediately. Bron Breakker is being buried in the Vision while Oba Femi gets all the momentum, and WWE cannot push two young guys at the same time to save their lives. Baron Corbin is back and JD thinks the timing is perfect for a pure old-school heel in 2026. And Gunther went from retiring John Cena to being an afterthought on SmackDown filling in for Drew McIntyre, and nobody can explain why.
