Inside the Love Has Won Cult
On April 28th, 2021, a man walked into a Colorado police station and told authorities that at his home address, they could expect to find a dead body inside. Upon entering the house, authorities couldn't have been prepared for what they were about to discover: a mummified corpse that was adorned with Christmas lights and a group of people caring for it, living around it, and worshipping it. Police Found Her Head in a Pot on the Stove - The Brutal Murder and Dismembering of Addie Hall
On October 17th, 2006, police were called to the scene of a suicide. The man in question had jumped to his death from the seventh floor of a hotel in downtown New Orleans, Louisiana. At first, this looks like an ordinary case of someone taking their own life; but when they search the man’s pockets, they find a note that reads ‘Police Only’; and this note would detail the horrific discovery they were about to make at 826 N. Rampart St. Thank you for listening to our show. If you enjoy our content, please consider leaving us a 5-star review. Also, a huge thank you to our Patrons and today’s sponsor, SmartLabels. He Released His Victims into the Forest and Hunted Them Like Animals (Part 1 of 2)
PART 2 HAS ALREADY BEEN RELEASED ON OUR PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/odditiesonelmstreet In June 1983, a 911 call was placed to Anchorage police around 3 o’clock in the morning after a nude woman was seen running down the street, handcuffed. Police didn’t know it at the time, but this woman had just escaped the grip of a violent serial killer. When the bodies of women began turning up in and around downtown Anchorage, police knew that these women had all suffered the same fate at the hands of the same perpetrator. Throughout their investigation, a pilot’s name keeps being thrown around - a pilot who has an aviation map depicting 37 little x’s. When police finally follow the trail, they are shocked at what they find. A Mysterious Disappearance in the Middle of a Scandalous Catholic Cover-Up: Unsolved Mysteries (Part 11) | The Vanishing of Josh Guimond
In 2002, 20-year-old Josh Guimond attended a small gathering with his friends on his catholic school’s college campus. After hanging out briefly, he decided to leave but would never be seen again. Police investigated his disappearance strictly from the angle that Josh had most likely fallen into a lake on campus and accidentally drowned. But those closest to him can’t seem to come to terms with this idea. According to his loved ones, Josh was incredibly upset with a recent scandal that was making headlines; one involving his very own catholic college. Monks living on campus were being accused of sexual abuse by a credible source. Not believing this theory that their son had just fallen into a lake, Josh’s parents take it upon themselves to hire a scent dog to try and follow his trail on the night of his disappearance. The dog takes them to the door of St. John’s Abbey, the college’s monastery—the very same monastery involved in the sexual abuse scandal. The scent dog is at first denied access to continue the search for Josh inside. Is the college hiding something or did something else entirely happen to Josh Guimond?
