My mother's story: What she never told me about her story

S1 EP11 - This is one of the most personal conversations I’ve ever had. For the first time, my mum shares parts of her childhood that I had never heard before. Through this conversation, I finally understood why she values the things she values, why she loves the way she does, and how she gave everything she had to be the best mother she could be—even without having had the example of a loving mother herself. This episode isn’t about blame. It’s about understanding. So often we forget that our parents were simply children once too. They carry experiences, wounds, and lessons that shape the way they raise us. Most parents aren’t trying to be perfect—they’re doing the very best they can with what they know, what they were taught, and what they had. I hope this conversation inspires you to look at your own parents with a little more compassion and curiosity. Sometimes, understanding someone’s story changes the way you see them forever. I hope it touches your heart as much as it touched mine.

How Kim Kardashian wore my Triangl design

// Sometimes the biggest opportunities come from taking a chance. In this episode, I share the story of how a collaboration with Triangl Swimwear became much more than a brand partnership. What started as my very first collaboration eventually led me to working with the company, traveling to Hong Kong, and designing my own collection. One of those designs went on to become part of a moment that changed the brand’s history—when one of the most famous women in the world wore Triangl for the very first time. This is a story about saying yes before you’re ready, trusting your instincts, and how one opportunity can completely change the direction of your life.

The Ayurvedic morning routine: Simple abits to transform your daily life

S1 EP03 - Ayurveda is one of the world’s oldest healing systems, with over 5,000 years of history. But is there a reason this ancient medicine has stood the test of time?In this episode of Moonward, we sit down with Ayurveda expert Dr. Rinku to explore the principles of Ayurvedic medicine and how they can help us better understand our bodies, our minds, and our overall wellbeing. We dive into the three doshas — Vata, Pitta, and Kapha — and how understanding your unique constitution can help explain everything from your energy levels and digestion to your emotions, sleep patterns, and daily habits. We also discuss: What Ayurveda is and why it has remained relevant for thousands of years The different doshas and how to identify yours Common misconceptions about supplements and wellness trends Why Ayurveda looks at the whole person rather than treating isolated symptoms Daily practices and routines that can improve energy, digestion, and overall health The connection between food, lifestyle, emotions, and disease How to create more balance in a fast-paced modern world Rather than focusing on a single symptom or condition, Ayurveda teaches us to look at the body as an interconnected system — where physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health all influence one another.Whether you’re new to Ayurveda or already familiar with its teachings, this conversation offers timeless wisdom, practical tools, and a fascinating perspective on what it truly means to live in balance.
