I just chatted with metamodern philosopher Jason Storm about his new book, The Genealogy of Genealogy: Nietzsche, Foucault, and the Coils of Critical History, in which he subjects postmodern genealogy to its own scrutiny. In the process, genealogy as a method is itself denaturalized and deeply problematized, as Jason unmasks its historical entanglements with oppressive power structures and constructed origins.
