She is one of the Managing Editors of Leisure Studies. Her research focuses on responsible outdoor recreation, gender, and more-than-human perspectives. Dr Jason King is a Senior Lecturer in Outdoor Education in the School of Sport at Leeds Beckett University, UK. His research focuses on responsible outdoor recreation and leadership. His PhD explored the role of leadership behaviour in building trust in low-predictability environments. He has over 20 years of experience working in outdoor recreation across the globe and is a co-founder of the Responsible Outdoor Recreation Research Group (RORR), based at Leeds Beckett University. Dr Adele Doran is an Associate Head, leading Research and Knowledge Exchange at Sheffield Business School, Sheffield Hallam University, UK. Her research focuses on recreation, including responsible recreation, gender, decent work, leadership, and outdoor education, and she works with both private and public sector organisations.
