08-29-2026- Give Them Their Flowers: A Voice, A Legacy, A Community

Sometimes life doesn’t give us time to prepare for loss—it simply happens, and somehow, we’re still expected to keep moving. This episode of The 4 Opinions took an unexpected and heartfelt turn as we processed the loss of one of KMOJ’s beloved on-air personalities, Chaz the Millionaire, whose voice, music, dedication, and service touched our community for more than 40 years. We opened the phone lines and gave our community an opportunity to feel, remember, reflect, and give Chaz his flowers for the legacy he leaves behind. But the conversation became bigger than grief. In a world already carrying so much heaviness, how do we continue showing up for work, family, community, and everyday responsibilities when our hearts haven’t had time to catch up with what just happened? This episode is a reminder that grief deserves room. Mental health deserves a check-in. And sometimes before asking, “What do I need to do today?” we need to ask, “How am I really doing today?” Rest in music, Chaz the Millionaire. Your voice may have left the airwaves, but your impact will continue to be heard.

8-22-2026- Celebrate Its Your Mental Health

In this episode of The 4 Opinions, we’re talking about the everyday decision to choose yourself—your peace, your growth, your boundaries, and your emotional well-being. But choosing you also means becoming intentional about choosing your tribe. Who pours into you? Who drains you? Who celebrates your growth instead of competing with it? Who can correct you with love, hold you accountable, pray with you, laugh with you, and still allow you the freedom to evolve? Everybody can’t have unlimited access to you simply because they have history with you. Mental healthiness is personal—but it isn’t always meant to be maintained alone. Choose you. Choose your peace. And choose people who help you become healthier, not heavier.

    8-15-2026- Disconnected while Connected

We’ve never been more connected, and somehow, we’ve become more disconnected. As a culture, as families, and as a society, how much of real life are we missing because we’re consumed by our phones? We’re scrolling through other people’s lives while overlooking our own. Social media influences how we think, what we desire, how we communicate, how we parent, how we love, and sometimes even how we value ourselves. In this episode of The 4 Opinions, we’re challenging ourselves to disconnect so we can reconnect. What happens when we put the phone down long enough to hear our children, enjoy our families, nurture our relationships, sit with our own thoughts, pursue our goals, and actually experience the moment we’re in? Technology is a tool, but when the tool begins controlling the person holding it, something has to change. Maybe the next level of our lives isn’t something we need to scroll toward. Maybe it’s already in front of us, waiting for us to look up.

8-1-2026 Handling life with Care, Life Has Added Extra Weight

What would happen if we became gentler with one another? Our community is carrying more than we can see—grief, financial pressure, family struggles, relationship challenges, mental anguish, trauma, and simply the exhaustion of trying to make it through another day. Yet sometimes, instead of extending grace, we become another weight someone has to carry. In this episode of The 4 Opinions, we’re asking ourselves to look inward before we step outward. What if we checked our attitude before leaving home? What if we chose patience before judgment, compassion before criticism, and kindness before assuming the worst? Being gentle doesn’t mean being weak or avoiding accountability. It means remembering that everybody is fighting something we may know nothing about. How can we change the emotional temperature of our culture—one interaction at a time? Before you enter the world today, ask yourself: Am I about to add to somebody’s weight… or help make their load a little lighter? Because sometimes changing our community starts with changing what we bring into the room

8-8-2026-A Soft Sorry, But An Authentic Apology

In this episode, we unpack the true meaning and power behind an authentic apology. In a culture where “I’m sorry” is often used just to move on, what happens when we actually mean it? A genuine apology requires accountability, acknowledgment, and changed behavior. It can release emotional weight, rebuild trust, and create space for healing—for both the person giving it and the person receiving it. Are you saying sorry to end the conversation, or are you apologizing because you truly understand the impact of your actions? Sometimes healing begins with two simple words—but the real apology is found in what you do next.

7-18-2026- What We Don 't Say Loud, Unfamilarizing the Past Culture

What We Don’t Say Out Loud is a culturally rooted conversation about the unspoken experiences shaping our mental and emotional wellness—from family secrets and generational survival to relationships, parenting, grief, money, masculinity, Black womanhood, faith, friendship, aging, success, and the pressure to always appear strong. This isn’t just a podcast about mental health. It’s about the culture behind our mental health. Why did some of us learn to call trauma “just life”? Why was survival celebrated while vulnerability was questioned? What behaviors have we normalized simply because “that’s how we grew up”? And what are we carrying today that was never ours to carry? Each episode takes something we usually whisper about and puts it directly on the table. Because some things don’t change until somebody finally says them out loud.

06/06/2026- Family Forgiveness and Refreshing Freedom

Social media has the world in a chokehold. While it has created spaces for connection, healing, and self-discovery, it has also sparked a new wave of conversations around forgiveness. We often hear about forgiving ourselves, letting go of past mistakes, and embracing personal growth. But what happens when the forgiveness you need isn't from yourself? What happens when the healing must come from family—the very people who were entrusted with raising you, protecting you, nurturing you, and helping shape your view of the world? Many people carry wounds that did not come from strangers, but from parents, guardians, caregivers, or relatives whose words, actions, decisions, or absence left lasting impacts. The pain of unmet emotional needs, broken promises, childhood trauma, favoritism, neglect, abandonment, or generational dysfunction can follow us well into adulthood. As we grow older, we often learn how to forgive others, but the deeper question remains: How do we heal when the apology never comes? How do we move forward when those who were responsible for our care never acknowledge the hurt they caused? Is forgiveness possible without accountability? And can healing exist even when reconciliation does not? These are the conversations many are beginning to have—moving beyond self-forgiveness and exploring the complex journey of finding peace with family wounds, breaking generational cycles, and reclaiming the parts of ourselves that were impacted long before we had the words to understand what was happening. Sometimes the greatest act of healing is not waiting for the apology, but choosing not to let the pain define the rest of your story.

4-18-2026 Where do Your Life "Strength" Come From?

In today’s world, many people are asking themselves the same question: Where do we get the strength to keep navigating through life? Every day feels like a constant battle between survival, healing, responsibility, and maintaining peace of mind. From the nonstop outpour of social media and negative news cycles to political division surrounding our new presidential administration, people are carrying emotional weight in ways that often go unseen. At the same time, families and communities are facing increasing necessities and financial pressures — rising housing costs, food prices, healthcare expenses, job instability, violence within communities, mental health struggles, relationship breakdowns, and the overwhelming pressure to “keep it together” while silently struggling. Many are experiencing burnout, anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, and emotional exhaustion while still being expected to show up for work, family, parenting, leadership roles, and everyday responsibilities. This conversation takes a deeper look into how people continue to find strength despite the chaos surrounding them. Where does resilience come from when life feels overwhelming? Is it faith? Community? Therapy? Survival mode? Personal growth? Spiritual grounding? The discussion will explore how culture, family upbringing, trauma, life experiences, and social conditioning shape the way we cope, heal, and move through difficult seasons. It also highlights the importance of mental wellness, emotional intelligence, accountability, healthy relationships, spiritual connection, and having safe spaces to be honest about what people are truly carrying internally. In a time where many are suffering in silence while pretending to be okay, this conversation encourages transparency, healing, hope, and the rebuilding of strength from the inside out. More importantly, it challenges individuals to ask themselves: What is truly fueling me right now — pressure, pain, purpose, or peace? And how do we begin creating healthier lives, stronger communities, and better emotional support systems for future generations?

Maybe it’s time we pause. Take a breath. Reset. Because effective communication isn’t just about speaking—it’s about listening with intention, understanding with purpose, and responding with care. It’s the foundation of growth, healing, and real progress. So how did we lose it? More importantly, how do we get it back? And where do we go from here to rebuild stronger, healthier ways of connecting with one another? Let’s talk about it.

3-14-26- Concert Energy vs. Comment Section Hate

In this episode, we unpack the aftermath of the Cardi B tour stop—not the show itself, but the wave of commentary that followed. Social media lit up with opinions from people who weren’t even in the building. From critiques about what women wore, to judgment about how they showed up, to harsh narratives rooted in respectability politics—we saw a familiar pattern unfold: the policing and tearing down of women, especially women of color. We’re asking the real questions: When did having an opinion turn into public shaming? Why are women still the target of criticism for expressing freedom, confidence, and joy? And how do we hold space for dialogue without contributing to harm? This episode is a raw, honest reflection on culture, criticism, and accountability. We’re not here to silence opinions—but to challenge how they’re delivered, and who they impact. Because at the end of the day, enjoying a concert should never come with a side of judgment. Tune in as we break it down, speak truth, and explore how we can do better—for ourselves, and for each other.
