Ep 06: When You Say YES

What if the Promised Land isn't a destination, but something we already have access to? In Episode 6 of In Between Sets, we're catching up on life! From worship nights and our mission to visit all 30 NBA arenas to a stolen action figure that unexpectedly turned into a powerful reminder of God's timing. We get into the importance of obedience, how small decisions can lead to something much bigger than ourselves, and what we're learning about solitude, spiritual formation, and trusting God in the process. Sometimes we're so focused on where we're trying to get that we overlook what God is doing right where we are. What if the promise was never about the destination, but His presence? Join the conversation, and let us know in the comments: What's a small YES you've said to God recently? Ep 05: P*RN, LUST, & ACCOUNTABILITY

In Episode 5 of In Between Sets, we have one of the most vulnerable conversations we've had yet. For years, both of us privately struggled with pornography, lust, shame, and the feeling that we should be able to overcome it on our own. But what we eventually discovered was that the secrecy surrounding the struggle was helping keep us bound. In this episode, we share how our struggles began, the conversation that changed everything, and how James 5:16 gave us a new understanding of confession, accountability, healing, and freedom. We talk honestly about finding the right person to confide in, what real accountability looks like, the boundaries we've had to put in place, and why freedom has required surrender—not simply more self-control. We don't share this because we have everything figured out. We share it because we know what it's like to struggle in silence, and we wish someone had talked to us about this when we were younger. If you're struggling, you don't have to keep it a secret. “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” — James 5:16 Shop our 2615 Club Atlético collection: http://twosixonefive.square.site/ Follow us @salvis2615 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/salvis2615 TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@salvis2615 Subscribe to our YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@Salvis2615

Ep 04: Back to the Start

The beginning of this year changed everything. In this episode, we catch you up on life, the launch of our first Two Six One Five merch drop, and a surprising health update—but the heart of this conversation is the seven-day water-only fast that reshaped our year. We share what God taught us through fasting, the fears we had to surrender, and the unexpected doors that opened through simple obedience. From a renewed calling to worship music to a return to seminary, this conversation is about saying "yes" to God—even when you don't know where it will lead. If you've ever wondered what fasting is, wrestled with your purpose, or felt God nudging you toward something new, we hope this conversation encourages you to take your next faithful step. Ep 03: Trust the Process

In Episode 3 of In Between Sets, Joe shares his journey from creating church lyric slides in Microsoft PowerPoint to designing for professional sports teams and eventually leading branding and special projects at Lakewood Church. Along the way, he opens up about the power of serving, learning through volunteering, trusting God's timing, and saying yes to opportunities before feeling fully qualified. This conversation is about creativity, calling, faithfulness, and the doors God can open when you're willing to start where you are. Whether you're a creative, a leader, or someone trying to figure out your next step, this episode is full of encouragement to keep growing, serving, and trusting God with the process. Ep 02: Take a Risk

In this episode of In Between Sets, we share the story of how we met — from a leap of faith that brought Fernando from Florida to Houston, to a broken toe, a spare room, and a friendship neither of us expected God to build. We talk about risk, obedience, choosing growth over comfort, and how one “yes” to God can completely change the direction of your life. If you’ve ever felt stuck between safe and faithful, comfortable and called, this conversation is for you.
