I Got Kuestions

thomaskedeshia

Hey, I'm Kadie, and I got kuestions. Lots of them. The kind that makes you think, laugh, cringe a little, and maybe even see yourself differently. I Got Kuestions is the podcast where nothing is off-limits, and no question is too random, too real, or too honest. Each episode, I show up as myself, a wife, a mom, a COO, and somebody who has been through enough to know that the best conversations start with the questions most people are afraid to ask. So if you're ready to laugh, reflect, and get a little uncomfortable in the best way possible, pull up a seat. Let's talk.

    Are We Really Unbothered?A

Why do the "unbothered" always have the longest story to tell? Kadie calls out the #unbothered contradiction — and the people who vent to everyone except the one person who needs to hear it.

Why Do We Get Mad at Reality, Not Our Assumptions? A

Kadie buys a Harry Potter poncho in the rain at Universal Orlando. Turns out “poncho” doesn’t mean “waterproof.” She’s soaked, she’s annoyed… and then she realizes the poncho never lied to her — she just assumed. From there: why we constantly treat our assumptions like facts, the trap of thinking something’s “obvious” when it’s only obvious to us, and a dead-simple way to catch yourself before you get mad at the wrong thing. Plus No Stupid Kuestions and this week’s Kuestion of the Week. You asked. She answered. Now it’s your turn.

Why Do We Wait for 'Someday' That Might Not Come?

Kadie was waiting on Dolly Parton's Vegas dates. Then the news hit — and that show is never happening. It's not a sad episode though. It's the one where Kadie shares the vow she made after Whitney Houston died, the wild list of shows she's actually gone to since, and why "someday" is really just a story we tell ourselves to avoid committing right now. Plus No Stupid Kuestions and this week's Kuestion of the Week. You asked. She answered. Now it's your turn.

Why Don't We Talk to Humans Anymore?

A couple at the next table sits down and goes straight to their phones — no eye contact, no conversation. That's the spark for this one: phones, text breakups, and whether AI is replacing human connection or just catching the overflow when no one else is awake to talk. Kadie also admits she's polite to AI. She's not sorry.

    Is It Really Your Business?

A stranger walks up to someone whose car just got hit and tells them not to be mad — because it was "just an accident." That real moment sends Kadie down a rabbit hole: why do we feel entitled to police other people's reactions when we're not even the ones living through the moment? She lays out where she actually stands — you can't tell someone how to react, that's their right, full stop — while also being honest about the tension she wrestles with: reactions should still be proportionate to what actually happened. She gets personal about being told "you're overreacting" and "don't be so dramatic" more times than she can count, and lands on a thesis that's equal parts validating and accountable: your reaction is always valid, but the size of it is yours to check — not a stranger's job to grade. Plus, a No Stupid Kuestions about getting mad at inanimate objects (RIP to one particular bed frame).

Are You Still The Person I Met?

In this episode, Kadie asks: are you still the person people met, or have you become someone completely different? She opens with proof of her own evolution — from hating sparkling water to owning a soda stream, and a husband who’s picked up new hobbies out of nowhere. That leads into the heart of the episode: after 20 years of marriage, she and her husband created ”date and learn” sessions, where they intentionally share what they’re newly into and what they’re leaving behind, big or small. Kadie flips the lens to the frustration of being stuck in other people’s outdated version of you — growing while someone else still relates to who you used to be. She lands on her core belief: people change constantly, so the real Kuestion isn’t whether you’re the same person anymore (you’re not) — it’s whether we’re willing to keep updating our picture of each other. The episode closes with a new Kuestion of the Week: what have you outgrown that nobody else has noticed yet?

Do We Meet People By Chance?

Do we really meet people by chance — or is everyone who walks into our life supposed to be there? Kadie breaks down the people who've imparted something into her life and the ones who took until she had nothing left to give. What Does It Cost To Become Great?

Usain Bolt. Michael Jordan. Tom Brady. Bob Marley. We know their greatness — but did we ever picture the work behind it? The hours, the repetition, the stuff nobody filmed? This week Kadie gets honest about her own relationship with shortcuts (spoiler: she'll spend an hour looking for one instead of just doing the ten-minute task), what it really means to want to be great without needing to be famous for it, and a question that stopped her cold: what does success actually look like to you? Plus — her actual fantasy version of success, and why it looks a lot more like this podcast than a stage. Kuestion of the Week: What does success actually look like to you — not the version you'd say in an interview, the real one. Send it in, and Kadie might read yours at the top of next episode. You asked. She answered. Now it's your turn.

    Is That The Rose Dress?

She wrote a whole book about her life. Now SHE has to talk about it. 😅🎙️ Season 3 is officially here, and I am not the same person who left you at the end of Season 2. I got my MBA (4.0, thank you very much), kept a company running, kept being a wife and a mom, and somehow also wrote an entire memoir called The Rose Dress — which means strangers can now read about my life and ask me “wait, is THAT part true?” for the rest of my days. In this premiere I’m catching you up on everything, bringing back No Stupid Kuestions, and launching a brand new segment called Kuestion of the Week. It’s funny, it’s a little deep, and it’s very real — basically just like me. 📖 Go buy The Rose Dress on Amazon — your girl needs you to be nosy about her life. The Rose Dress Link 🔔 Subscribe so you don’t miss a single Kuestion this season 📲 Share this episode with someone who needs a laugh and a little perspective today You asked. I answered. Now it’s your turn.
