Fertility & Hormones: Building a Thriving Practice in One of the Fastest-Growing Wellness Niches with Dr. Kela Smith

One in six couples worldwide struggle with infertility - and for many women, the conventional path jumps straight to medication or IVF without asking why the body stopped feeling safe enough to conceive. In this episode of The Healthy Hustle Podcast, Rachel Feldman sits down with Dr. Kela Smith, Ph.D., DNM - founder of The Hormone Puzzle Society and Fertility Coaching Mastery - to unpack the fertility and hormone niche for health coaches: root causes beyond age, nervous-system safety, foundational habits that actually move the needle, and how practitioners can ethically serve women from fertility through perimenopause and menopause. Dr. Kela Smith, Ph.D., DNM, is a holistic doctor, researcher, educator, business strategist and the founder of The Hormone Puzzle Society, a virtual clinic and educational platform supporting individuals and couples on their fertility and hormone health journeys. After navigating and overcoming her own infertility and hormone challenges, Dr. Kela transformed her personal healing journey into a mission to help others uncover and address the root causes of infertility and hormonal imbalance through a whole-body, evidence-informed approach. Her work focuses on hormone signaling, metabolic health, gut-immune balance, detoxification pathways, and nervous system regulation as they relate to reproductive outcomes and hormone balance at every age. She is the host of The Hormone Puzzle Podcast, where she shares expert interviews and stories of hope, host of the Fertility Coaching Mastery Podcast where she teaches practitioners how to start, grow, and scale a profitable and purpose-driven fertility coaching business, and is the author of her latest book - Solving Your Infertility Puzzle: A Comprehensive Guide to Optimizing Your Fertility. Dr. Kela is also the founder and lead educator of The Hormone Puzzle Society Educational Institute, where she trains and certifies future fertility and hormone coaches, and is a sought-after speaker at conferences, summits, and professional trainings. In This Episode, We Cover Why fertility and hormones are one of the fastest-growing wellness niches Dr. Kela's personal infertility story - and how it became a teaching mission Root causes beyond "just age": delayed family timing, birth control-first care, toxins, male fertility, and stress Nervous-system safety, fight-or-flight, and the "type A" fertility avatar How functional care differs from the conventional prescription/procedure path Foods and foundations for fertility: protein, whole foods, minerals, hydration The hormone PUZLE method and why systems beat willpower The 2-2-2 nervous-system reset (silence, breath, journaling) Perimenopause/menopause overlaps, bioidentical HRT, and when foundations come first Environmental toxins, beauty/cleaning swaps, fragrance/phthalates, and Think Dirty How practitioners can train and build a fertility/hormone coaching offer From Unexplained Infertility to a Teaching Mission At 36, Dr. Kela was told she had unexplained infertility and advanced maternal age - with IUI and IVF as the default next steps. She refused to accept that as the whole story. She optimized her own fertility, conceived twice (including at 40), then went back for a PhD so she could teach other women - and practitioners - what she learned. With a newborn and a two-year-old, her mission became clear: shorten the learning curve for anyone who wants to serve this niche with integrity. Root Causes Beyond "Just Age" Kela points to delayed family timing, birth-control-first care with little cycle education, rising environmental toxins, overlooked male fertility, and chronically stressed nervous systems. When the body is stuck in fight-or-flight, it often will not prioritize conception - even if labs look "fine." Fertility, she reminds us, is not only about getting pregnant. It is a fifth vital sign of broader health - and if systems are struggling now, perimenopause and menopause often amplify that struggle later. The Type A Woman Who Cannot Slow Down Many of her patients are high-achieving, caffeine-fueled, under-slept, and trained to equate skinny with healthy. That lifestyle keeps the body in go-mode. Rachel shares her own story of coming off birth control, losing her period for nine months, and being put on Clomid - until an energy healer named the real issue: she did not feel safe in her body to conceive. The next month, her cycle returned. Coaching that restores safety - through foundations, boundaries, and systemized nurture - is often the real unlock. Functional Care vs. Prescription or Procedure Conventional medicine is often trained to ask what prescription or procedure is next - Clomid, Letrozole, HSG, IUI, IVF - not why the body is not healing. Kela's first appointment is an hour looking at health history from birth to now, mapping systems, and finding dysfunction beyond age. Nine times out of ten, she says, her patients get pregnant - including into their mid and late forties - when the body is optimized instead of rushed through a clinic pipeline. Her goal is not either/or. She wants conventional and functional care working together for women. Foundations, Foods, and the Hormone PUZLE Method Across fertility, perimenopause, and menopause, the same foundations show up: whole-food nutrition, enough protein (about 30 grams per meal plus a snack - roughly 100 grams a day), leafy greens, eggs, iron-rich foods, nuts and seeds, fiber (30+ grams), minerals, hydration, electrolytes, strength training, sleep, and stress load. Kela's hormone PUZLE method packages the pillars: Proper whole-food nutrition; Understanding supplements (right quality, dose, and quantity); Zapping stress / staying in zen; Zs - sleep; Love and encouragement; Exercise and environment. If one piece is out, the whole picture shifts. Foundations come before biohacks. Functional testing (Dutch, gut, HTMA, mycotoxins/environmental toxins), peptides, and HRT only work when the basics are in place - not on top of McDonald's and nightly alcohol. Nervous-System Resets and Systems That Stick For the burned-out "do everything perfectly" woman, Kela starts with a hard inventory: What is serving you? What can wait or go? Then she systems everything - workouts, nutrition, business - so habits run without burning willpower. Her 2-2-2 reset is six minutes a day: two minutes of silence, two minutes of deep breathing, two minutes of journaling. Small enough to do; big enough to signal safety to the nervous system. Perimenopause, Menopause, and Bioidentical HRT As cycles become irregular, track them. Keep protein and fat with meals for blood sugar, heal gut symptoms, and prioritize strength training for metabolism and bone health. In post-menopause, ovarian estrogen drops. Kela is a fan of finding a practitioner who can test and, when appropriate, prescribe bioidentical hormones - often looking at estrogen, testosterone, and progesterone case by case. The majority of her practice is fertility and perimenopause: weight gain around the middle, sleep disruption, hot flashes, brain fog, and anxiety are the struggles she hears most. Toxins at Home and Building a Fertility Coaching Practice You may not control outdoor toxins, but you control your home: filter air and water, swap beauty and cleaning products as you run out, watch parabens and fragrance/phthalates, skip plug-in air fresheners and perfume on skin (essential oils or perfume on clothes if needed). Scan products with Think Dirty. Simplify your routine - and DIY with castor oil, jojoba, and frankincense when it makes sense. For practitioners: Kela's Fertility Coaching Mastery certification (about 30 weeks) teaches clinical fertility/hormone care plus business - legal setup, avatar, social, podcasting, media - and the identity work of stepping into the coach you're becoming. It is built for health coaches, nurses, chiropractors, acupuncturists, nutritionists, dietitians, and women whose own infertility journey pulled them into this work. Your Action Step Pick one foundation to systemize this week - meal prep with enough protein, a hard bedtime, a six-minute 2-2-2 reset, or a non-toxic swap as you run out of a product - and treat it as nervous-system medicine, not another item on a perfect to-do list. Final Thoughts Fertility is not only about getting pregnant. It is a signal of how safely and sustainably a woman is living in her body - across fertility, perimenopause, and menopause. Coaches who can hold that nuance, teach foundations before biohacks, and build ethical offers in this niche are needed now more than ever. The SPARK Method: A Storytelling Framework That Makes People Stop Scrolling

If social media feels like a drag — or it isn't working as fast as it needs to — I want you to hear this: Your content probably isn't underperforming because you don't post enough. It's underperforming because you're not telling stories. You're stating facts. And facts don't move people. Facts don't build trust. Stories do. In this episode, I'm handing you something I wish somebody had handed me years ago: a dead-simple storytelling framework called SPARK. You can use it for a reel, a caption, an email, or even a podcast episode. If you're tired of posting into the void — tired of "five tips for better gut health" getting twelve likes from your mom and your business bestie — this one's for you. In This Episode, We Cover Why "post more" doesn't fix underperforming content Why facts educate but stories connect What people actually buy from a coach (hint: it's belief) Why Google, ChatGPT, and freebies can't replace your story Permission to stop calling storytelling "oversharing" The SPARK method: Situation, Problem, Action, Result, Key takeaway How specificity makes people feel seen — not just informed Naming the real problem underneath the surface problem How to show a result people can actually picture Using SPARK for reels (hook, middle, CTA) Turning client testimonials into stories people finish reading Why one post should carry one SPARK — not your whole biography How storytelling rewrites your relationship to your own story A Message I Want You to Hear A lot of coaches avoid storytelling because it feels exposing. It feels like too much. You've been trained — by school, by corporate jobs, by the one client who made a snide comment once — to keep it professional, polished, and informational. But people don't buy information. Information is everywhere. Google has it. ChatGPT has it. Your competitor's freebie has it. What people buy is belief. Belief that you understand them. Belief that transformation is possible. Belief that you're the one who can guide them there. And belief isn't built with bullet points. It's built with story. So I want you to let go of the idea that sharing your story is oversharing. It's not oversharing. It's strategy. Why Your Content Underperforms Here's the truth I keep hearing from clients: Social media feels like a drag. Or it's not converting as fast as it needs to. So they post more tips. More carousels. More "value." And still feel like they're posting into the void. The problem usually isn't volume. It's that the content sells facts instead of telling stories. Facts can educate. Stories make someone stop scrolling, screenshot the post, and send it to a friend. If your content isn't landing, ask yourself: Am I informing people — or am I helping them feel understood? The SPARK Method I'm giving you a five-part framework called SPARK. You can use it for a reel, a caption, an email, or even a podcast. Grab a pen. S is for Situation. Start by painting the before picture — where you were, or where your client was, before the transformation. Be specific. Not, "I used to feel tired." Try, "I was setting three alarms just to convince myself to get out of bed, and I still hit snooze on all of them." Specificity is what makes people feel seen — not just informed. P is for Problem. Name the real problem. Not the surface-level one. The surface problem might be "I wasn't sleeping." The real problem underneath is often something like, "I didn't believe I deserved rest until I earned it." That's the line that makes somebody screenshot your post. A is for Action. What did you actually do? This is where you get to be the expert without sounding like a lecture. Walk them through the turning point — the one decision, the one conversation, the one framework that changed things. R is for Result. Show the after. Again: specific, not vague. Not, "I feel so much better now." Try, "Six months later, I wake up before my alarm and I don't hate my life at 6:00 AM anymore." Give people something they can picture. K is for Key takeaway. This is the bridge back to your audience. This is where you turn your story into their possibility. One line. Something like: "If you're setting three alarms too, this isn't a discipline problem — it's a self-worth problem, and that's fixable." Situation. Problem. Action. Result. Key takeaway. SPARK. That's the framework. How to Actually Use SPARK A framework you don't use is just a cute acronym. First, use SPARK for your reels. Situation and Problem are your hook — the first three seconds. Action and Result carry the middle. Key takeaway is your caption or your call to action. Second, use it for client stories — not just your own. Same structure: Situation, Problem, Action, Result, Key takeaway. This is how you turn a testimonial into a story people actually read all the way through instead of skimming past. Third — and this is the part people skip: Don't try to tell the whole story in one post. One post. One SPARK. You have hundreds of these stories in your life and in your client work. Stop trying to cram your whole biography into a single caption. Zoom in. You can also turn a bigger transformation into a series: My client's transformation — one SPARK at a time. Storytelling Is Stepping Into Your Power Storytelling isn't a content tactic bolted onto your marketing. It's an act of stepping into your power. Every time you tell the truth about where you started, you're doing two things at once: You're building trust with your audience. And you're rewriting your own relationship to your story. I know how easy it is to over-apologize for taking up space. To soften your story until it's polished and safe and forgettable. I want you to notice that instinct — and do the opposite. Tell it specific. Tell it honest. Tell it like it happened. That's what makes people stop scrolling. Not perfection. True. Your Action Step Take one story — yours or a client's — and run it through SPARK this week. Situation. Problem. Action. Result. Key takeaway. Post it. Then come back and notice how it landed. Don't try to tell everything. One post. One SPARK. Final Thoughts You don't need more tips lists. You need stories that build belief. Your depth, your turning points, and your honest "before" pictures are not liabilities. They're the reason someone will trust you with their transformation. Keep showing up. Tell it specific. Tell it honest. Your message matters. Mindful Hustle: How Attention Training Builds a Business That Does Not Burn You Out

CEOs often skip mindfulness because they fear losing their edge. Aaron Hendon argues the opposite: anxiety is not performance fuel — and about ten minutes a day can rewire how you lead. In this episode of The Healthy Hustle Podcast, Rachel Feldman sits down with mindfulness teacher, author, and high-performance coach Aaron Hendon (The Mindful CEO) to unpack why hustle culture feels safer than practice, what top performers actually do, and how to train attention without turning meditation into another self-improvement grind. In This Episode, We Cover: Why leaders cling to hustle culture and fear losing their "edge" Edge vs edgy — and what top performers actually practice The myth that meditation means emptying your mind Agency of attention as a leadership superpower Why meditation apps churn — and how to start with 10 minutes (or one breath) Training the mind like a puppy: return to the breath and raise the floor under stress The Fear of Losing Your Edge Aaron names the real blocker underneath "I don't have time": leaders worry that calm means losing the anxious grind that produced results. Rachel connects this to perfectionism and overwork — the version of anxiety that fueled her own hustle. Aaron's point: ample data suggests the opposite of the fear story. Ignoring that data is often the path of least resistance — defaulting to willpower and frenetic effort instead of building the capacity to self-regulate. What Top Performers Actually Do First, Aaron draws a sharp line: there is a difference between having an edge and being edgy. If you want edge, do what people with demonstrated edge already do. Citing Tim Ferriss's Tools of Titans, Aaron notes that roughly 80% of the profiled top performers keep a mindfulness practice. He also points to sports examples — Phil Jackson ("the Zen Master"), the Bulls era, and modern pro teams — where mindfulness is treated as a performance edge, not soft fluff. The reframe that lands: they don't meditate because they have time. They have time because they meditate. Practice, Not Perfection (or Apps Alone) Meditation is not about emptying the mind or forcing calm. It's about watching thoughts — including judgments — and gently returning attention to the breath. Calm may follow, but it cannot be the scoreboard, or practice turns into another "get somewhere" project. Aaron compares it to the gym: you don't go to get good at going to the gym. You meditate to develop agency of attention — especially when a trillion-dollar attention economy is trying to hijack it. On apps: well-intentioned tools can help later as timers, but learning without a teacher often reinforces "get better" striving. Aaron cites roughly 90% churn. Celebrate mindful moments; reps beat duration. Start with any 10 minutes — or five, three breaths, or one breath if that's all you have. His puppy metaphor: the mind will keep leaving the box. Training is returning it, kindly, again and again — raising the floor so you sink to preparation instead of rising to reactivity when the client is lost or the hard conversation starts. Your Action Step Block any 10 minutes today (or three breaths if that's all you have). Sit, watch thoughts without trying to empty your mind, and gently return attention to the breath each time it wanders. If you only think about meditating twice, celebrate those as mindful moments — then stack the next rep. Final Thoughts Hustle got many founders here — but what got you here won't get you further without capacity. Raise the floor with attention training so you can lead from presence and devotion, not only threat response. How to Sleep Without Medication: The Psychology of Insomnia with Jessica Meers

If you're doing everything "right" for your sleep and still waking up exhausted, tossing and turning at night, or lying in bed with your brain running a mile a minute, the problem might not be your nighttime routine. It might be what your brain has learned to do when you get into bed. In this episode, I'm sitting down with licensed psychologist Jessica Meers to talk about the psychology of sleep, insomnia, and why some of the things we do to compensate for a bad night of sleep can actually keep the cycle going. Jessica specializes in treating insomnia without medication using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). She explains why sleep is both biological and psychological, how we can unintentionally train ourselves to associate our beds with stress and wakefulness, and why there is no perfect sleep routine that works for everyone. We also talk about overthinking at night, maintaining a consistent wake time, what to do when you can't fall back asleep, creating a sleep-supportive environment, and how hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can affect sleep. If you've been chasing the perfect bedtime routine but still aren't sleeping well, this conversation may help you look at sleep in a completely different way. In This Episode, We Cover: Why sleep affects so much more than how tired you feel the next day The relationship between poor sleep and mental health Why the "5 AM club" approach isn't right for everyone How individual sleep needs can change with age and life circumstances Why sleep is both a biological process and a learned behavior How lying awake, worrying, and tossing and turning can reinforce poor sleep patterns Why overthinkers often struggle when everything finally gets quiet at night Jessica's strategy for scheduling "worry time" before bed Why getting out of bed may be better than staying there trying to force yourself to sleep How to distinguish insomnia symptoms from potential signs of sleep apnea What Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is Why a consistent wake-up time can be one of the most important parts of improving sleep Why sleeping in to "catch up" after a bad night can disrupt your rhythm How to create a simple wind-down buffer before bed Why temperature and light matter for sleep Why the perfect sleep environment may not be enough when your nervous system is on high alert The relationship between perimenopause, menopause, hormones, and sleep Why addressing sleep may require support from more than one type of practitioner Sleep Is More Than Feeling Tired We tend to think about poor sleep in terms of how we feel the next morning. We're tired. We're foggy. We need more coffee. We don't have the energy we normally have. But Jessica explains that sleep reaches much further than our energy levels. As a psychologist, she pays particular attention to the relationship between sleep and mental health. Poor sleep and insomnia are closely connected with conditions like anxiety and depression, and sleep difficulties can sometimes appear before other mental health symptoms. Sleep also intersects with hormones and metabolic health, which is one of the reasons getting consistent, restorative sleep matters so much for our overall health. This isn't simply about getting enough hours so you can be productive tomorrow. Sleep is one of the foundational systems supporting your physical and emotional health. There Is No Perfect Sleep Schedule One of my favorite parts of this conversation was Jessica's take on the "5 AM club." We see these routines everywhere. Wake up at 5 AM. Work out. Take the cold plunge. Journal. Meditate. Get more done before everyone else wakes up. And while that routine may work beautifully for one person, it doesn't mean it's healthy for everyone. Jessica explains that healthy sleep needs are generally discussed within a range, but the exact amount an individual needs can vary depending on the person, their age, their circumstances, and what is happening in their life. Trying to force yourself into somebody else's sleep schedule can work against what your own body needs. Your goal isn't to become the person who wakes up earliest. Your goal is to find a sleep pattern that actually supports your health. You Can Train Yourself to Sleep Poorly This was such an important distinction. Our bodies know how to sleep. But psychologically, sleep can also become a learned behavior. That means we can unintentionally teach ourselves patterns that make sleeping harder. Think about what happens when you repeatedly lie in bed unable to sleep. You toss. You turn. You start thinking about tomorrow. You worry about how tired you're going to be. You look at the clock. You try harder to fall asleep. And eventually, your brain begins associating your bed with being awake, alert, worried, and frustrated. Instead of your bed becoming a cue for sleep, it becomes a cue for stress. Jessica explains that breaking this association is an important part of addressing insomnia. The goal is to help your brain relearn what your bed is supposed to represent. Sleep. Why Overthinkers Struggle at Night If your brain suddenly decides bedtime is the perfect opportunity to review every problem in your life, you're definitely not alone. During the day, we're distracted. We're working. We're answering messages. We're taking care of our families. We're running businesses. There is always something competing for our attention. Then everything gets quiet. Suddenly, your brain has room to bring up all the things you haven't processed yet. For someone who already tends toward worrying or rumination, bedtime can become the moment when those thoughts get louder. One strategy Jessica recommends is intentionally creating space for those thoughts earlier. Rather than waiting until your head hits the pillow, schedule time after dinner to think through what's worrying you. Write it down. Identify the next step you can take. Give the thought somewhere to go. You're not trying to solve your entire life before bedtime. You're showing your brain that the problem has been acknowledged and there is a plan for dealing with it. What to Do When You Can't Sleep This advice sounds completely backwards at first. If you can't sleep, get out of bed. Jessica explains that staying in bed worrying, stressing, tossing, and turning can reinforce the exact association you're trying to break. You're teaching your brain that bed is where you stay awake and struggle. Instead, get up. Go somewhere else. Do something relatively mindless that you enjoy until you begin feeling sleepy again. Jessica even explains that, in the context of this approach, she would rather someone get out of bed and watch television than stay in bed desperately trying to force sleep while becoming increasingly frustrated. The goal is not to reward yourself for being awake. It's to stop reinforcing the connection between your bed and wakefulness. Could It Be More Than Insomnia? Not every nighttime awakening is caused by insomnia. Jessica also discusses some signs that may warrant talking with a healthcare professional about obstructive sleep apnea. If you're frequently waking during the night and also experiencing symptoms such as loud snoring, gasping for air, morning headaches, or waking with a dry mouth, it may be worth discussing a sleep study with your healthcare provider. This is another reason why getting appropriate support matters. You don't want to spend months trying to "fix" your sleep routine if there is another underlying sleep issue that needs to be evaluated. What Is CBT-I? Jessica specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, commonly called CBT-I. Rather than relying solely on medication to manage insomnia, CBT-I looks at both the behaviors and thought patterns that may be contributing to sleep difficulties. Jessica describes it as a relatively short-term, structured form of therapy, often completed over approximately six to eight weekly sessions, although treatment needs vary by person. The process can involve changing behaviors around sleep, rebuilding the association between bed and sleeping, addressing worry and rumination, and helping people understand the psychological patterns that may be keeping insomnia going. For someone who feels like they've tried every sleep hygiene tip imaginable without getting lasting results, looking at the behavioral and psychological side of sleep may be the missing piece. Stop Trying to Catch Up on Sleep After a terrible night of sleep, sleeping in feels completely logical. You're exhausted. Your body missed sleep. Why wouldn't you stay in bed longer and catch up? Jessica explains that constantly changing your wake time can disrupt your rhythm and make the next night more difficult. One of the strongest anchors you can give your sleep schedule is consistency in the morning. Rather than obsessing over the exact time you fall asleep, Jessica encourages people to pay attention to when they get up. Set a regular wake time. Get up at approximately the same time each day. And resist constantly shifting your schedule based on how well you slept the night before. One bad night doesn't necessarily need to become several bad nights. Sometimes our attempts to compensate for poor sleep are what keep the pattern going. Give Your Brain Time to Wind Down You cannot expect your brain to go from full-speed work mode to sleep in thirty seconds. If you've been answering emails, working on your business, scrolling on your phone, solving problems, or thinking about tomorrow right up until bedtime, your brain may still be activated when you lie down. Jessica recommends creating at least a short buffer before sleep. Even thirty minutes can give your brain an opportunity to transition. The goal isn't to create an elaborate two-hour nighttime routine filled with ten different wellness practices. It's simply to give yourself a period where you are intentionally disengaging from the activities that keep your brain switched on. Your Sleep Environment Matters, But It Isn't Everything Temperature and light can absolutely support sleep. Jessica recommends keeping your bedroom cool and comfortable, with research often pointing toward temperatures around 67 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit for many sleepers. Darkness can also help. Dimming the lights in the evening gives your body additional environmental cues that nighttime is approaching. But there is an important caveat. You can have the perfect temperature. The perfect blackout curtains. The perfect eye mask. The perfect wind-down routine. And still struggle to sleep if your nervous system is highly activated. If you're lying in bed hypervigilant and on edge, your body's arousal system may be competing with your ability to settle into sleep. Sleep hygiene can support the process. It cannot always solve the underlying problem by itself. Perimenopause, Menopause, and Sleep Jessica's path into sleep psychology actually began through women's health research focused on sleep and the menopausal transition. That made this part of our conversation especially interesting to me. Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can significantly change a woman's experience of sleep. Jessica discusses estrogen's role in sleep and why changes during this stage of life can contribute to sleep disruption. But there can also be a second layer. Once sleep becomes difficult, we naturally start worrying about it. We compensate. We change our routines. We try harder. And some of those psychological and behavioral responses can begin perpetuating the sleep problem even when hormones were part of what triggered it initially. That is why Jessica advocates for a collaborative approach. For some women, that may mean working with a psychologist or sleep specialist alongside a gynecologist, menopause specialist, physician, or other appropriate healthcare practitioner. There isn't always one single solution. You Don't Have to Keep Fighting Your Sleep One of the biggest messages I took from this conversation is that struggling with sleep doesn't mean you simply need more discipline. You don't necessarily need another supplement. You don't necessarily need another complicated nighttime routine. And you definitely don't need to force yourself into somebody else's 5 AM schedule because social media told you that successful people wake up before sunrise. Sometimes the behaviors we use to compensate for poor sleep are actually helping the pattern continue. Understanding those patterns gives you something you can work with. If sleep has become a nightly battle, consider getting support from someone who specializes in sleep rather than continuing to experiment on your own. Your Action Step Pay attention to what happens around your sleep for the next several days. Not just what time you go to bed. Ask yourself: Do I stay in bed worrying when I can't sleep? Do I dramatically change my wake time after a bad night? Am I carrying work and stress directly into bedtime? Am I trying to follow someone else's "perfect" sleep schedule? Do I spend the day worrying about whether I'll sleep tonight? You don't need to change everything at once. Start by noticing the patterns. If those patterns have been going on for a long time or your sleep is significantly affecting your health and daily life, consider speaking with a qualified sleep professional about whether CBT-I or another form of evaluation may be appropriate. Final Thoughts Sleep is foundational. It affects how you think, how you feel, how you show up for your family, and how much energy you have to build the business and life you want. And better sleep isn't necessarily about creating the perfect nighttime routine. Sometimes it starts with understanding what your brain has learned about sleep and changing the behaviors that are keeping you stuck. You can optimize your room. You can buy the eye mask. You can turn down the temperature. But if your nervous system is on high alert and your brain has learned that getting into bed means worrying for three hours, there is another layer that needs attention. That's why I loved this conversation with Jessica. It reminds us to stop chasing perfection and start understanding what our bodies and brains actually need. Why Every Health Coach Needs a High-Ticket and Low-Ticket Offer

If you only have one offer, you don't have a business. You have a bottleneck. I know that might ruffle some feathers, but I've watched too many incredible health coaches build one offer, put everything behind it, and then wonder why their income feels capped. A sustainable coaching business needs more than one way for people to work with you. You need an entry point for the person who isn't ready to make a premium investment yet, and you need a high-ticket offer for the client who's ready to go deeper. In this episode, I'm breaking down exactly how I structure my own offer ladder, from my lower-ticket group coaching sprint to my premium one-on-one coaching. I'm also sharing my thoughts on tripwires, why I don't recommend them for most brand-new coaches, and what you should focus on building first if you want a business that creates revenue without burning you out. In This Episode, We Cover: Why having only one offer can create a bottleneck in your business The role of high-ticket and low-ticket offers in a sustainable coaching business Why high-ticket coaching isn't about charging for your time How premium pricing can create greater client commitment Why one-on-one coaching can generate your strongest case studies and transformations How a lower-ticket offer builds trust before a larger investment Why a coaching sprint can become the bridge to your premium offer How a 90-minute intensive can lead clients into a high-ticket container What a tripwire is and where it belongs in your offer ladder Why I don't recommend tripwires for most brand-new coaches What to do if you don't have enough results to justify premium pricing yet How to identify the missing offer in your business A Message I Want You to Hear You don't need ten different offers. You need the right offers working together. One offer can only serve one type of buyer at one point in their journey. Some people are ready to go deep. Others need to experience your coaching first. When you give both people a clear next step, you're not complicating your business. You're creating a business that can grow. Why Your High-Ticket Offer Matters Your premium offer is where the deepest transformation can happen. For me, that's one-on-one coaching. A high-ticket client can create the revenue of multiple lower-ticket clients without requiring you to make ten separate sales. But there's also an important mindset shift here. You're not simply getting paid for the number of hours you spend with someone. You're getting paid for the transformation and outcome you're helping them create. Your premium offer is also where you can develop some of your strongest testimonials, case studies, and proof of concept. If you don't have a high-ticket offer yet, this may be the most important gap to fill. Why Your Lower-Ticket Offer Matters Not everyone who finds you is immediately ready to invest thousands of dollars. That doesn't mean they're not your ideal client. They may simply need more trust. That's where a lower-ticket offer can become incredibly valuable. My group coaching sprint gives people an opportunity to experience my coaching, get a meaningful result, and understand what it's like to work with me without immediately committing to one-on-one coaching. Once someone has experienced a win with you, moving into a deeper offer becomes much easier. Your low-ticket offer isn't necessarily the destination. It can be the doorway. Your Offers Should Work Together Think of your business as a ladder. Your lower-ticket offer gives someone an accessible way to enter your world. Your premium offer gives them somewhere to go when they're ready for deeper support. That means you aren't depending on one price point, one sales conversation, or one type of buyer to generate all of your revenue. And you don't have to build everything at once. Start with what your business needs most, get results, and build from there. Where a 90-Minute Intensive Fits Your lower-priced option doesn't always have to be a group program. A 90-minute intensive can also be an effective bridge into your premium coaching. You might use that time to review lab results, map out a short-term plan, identify deeper connections, or solve one specific problem. If the client decides afterward that they want deeper support, you can even apply the cost of the intensive toward your premium coaching container. They get to experience your expertise before making a bigger decision, and you create a natural pathway into your high-ticket offer. Why I Don't Recommend Starting With a Tripwire A tripwire is typically a very inexpensive offer, often around $27 or $37, designed to turn a cold audience into buyers. It sounds perfect for a new coach. But here's my take: Don't build the funnel before you build the following. Tripwires work when you already have traffic and trust. If hardly anyone is seeing your content, spending weeks creating a complicated tripwire funnel doesn't solve the real problem. You need people. You need visibility. You need trust. You need results. Build those first. Then a tripwire can become a powerful conversion tool. What If You Don't Have Results Yet? If you're new and don't feel like you have enough proof to charge premium pricing yet, start with a beta version of your one-on-one offer. Charge a slightly reduced but still meaningful investment. Set a clear end date for the beta pricing. Deliver incredible results. Then collect the testimonial or case study. The goal is to use beta pricing as a bridge, not as an excuse to undercharge indefinitely. What If Your Lower-Ticket Offer Isn't Selling? Don't immediately assume the price is the problem. Look at your messaging. Are you clearly communicating the transformation? Or are you simply describing what's included? People don't buy a certain number of calls, PDFs, modules, or worksheets. They buy what they believe those things will help them achieve. Make the result clear. Your Action Step Look at what you're currently selling and ask yourself: Do I have an accessible entry point? Do I have a premium offer? If one is missing, that's what I want you to build next. Not another freebie. Not another lead magnet. Not another piece of content you're hoping will magically fix your sales. Build an actual offer with a clear transformation and a price that reflects its value. Final Thoughts You don't need to build everything today. You don't need a complicated funnel. And you definitely don't need ten different offers. You need a thoughtful value ladder. Give people a way to enter your world. Give them somewhere to go when they're ready for more. And make sure your offers support both your clients and the business you're trying to build. Because the goal isn't simply to stay busy. It's to build a coaching business that's profitable, sustainable, and capable of creating deeper transformations. Resilience Over Optimization with Marina Moiseyeva

If you've ever thought, "I'll deal with my health once I actually feel sick," I want you to know something: That's how so many people lose their vitality. Between feeling well and being diagnosed, there is a whole world of clues. Fatigue. Poor sleep. Stress that never quite turns off. A body that still functions… but has no reserve left. In this episode, I'm joined by Marina Moiseyeva, founder of Harmonious Life Family Health Clinic in Brooklyn, New York. Marina is a family wellness practitioner with nearly 17 years of experience and more than 50,000 consultations. She started in holistic health coaching, moved into integrative functional medicine, and now runs a longevity and biohacking clinic that serves kids, adults, and entire families. Together, we talk about what actually stands between you and feeling your best, why so much of modern "stress" starts in your physiology, and why the most powerful biohacks are often the simplest ones. If you've been chasing optimization, supplements, or the latest trend and still feel depleted, this conversation will help you come back to what actually builds resilience. In This Episode, We Cover: Why people wait until they're debilitated before they get help The hidden "in-betweens" between being well and being sick How sleep and stress quietly drain every system in the body Why coffee and a high-carb breakfast can make you feel anxious Why oatmeal, smoothies, and intermittent fasting don't work for everyone What biohacking actually means (and why it isn't only for the ultra-wealthy) Why vitality is about function and resilience—not perfect wearable scores How to use bloodwork as motivation, not just a diagnosis Why women in perimenopause need a different approach than men The cheap biohacks that make the biggest difference Why sleep should never be the thing you compromise Creatine hydrochloride as a simple support for brain, bone, and muscle How to change one habit at a time without burning out Why food is first-line therapy A Message I Want You to Hear You do not have to wait for a diagnosis to start taking care of yourself. You do not need the most expensive protocol. You do not need to biohack like a celebrity. You need the courage to notice the small signals now—before they become something bigger. Your body is always giving you information. The question is whether you're listening. The In-Between of Wellness Most of us were taught to see a doctor when we can't function anymore. When the pain is debilitating. When daily life is already falling apart. Marina says that's far too late. Between well and sick, there are clues. Hints. In-betweens. A little less energy. A little more stress. Sleep that isn't quite restorative. Those early signs are not nothing. They are your opportunity to rebalance before the body is forced into disease, imbalance, or a diagnosis. Why You Feel Stressed Even When Life Looks Fine We assume stress is always emotional. A hard season. Too many hats. Work, kids, a business, a never-ending to-do list. And yes, that kind of stress is real. But Marina makes an important distinction: Sometimes you feel stressed because your physiology is stressed. If you wake up and drink black coffee in the first hour, you can push your body into fight-or-flight before the day has even started. If breakfast is a croissant, cereal, a fruit-heavy smoothie, or even oatmeal while you sit at a desk, you can spike insulin, raise cortisol, and feel anxious for no "good" reason. The food you eat in the morning can support your nervous system. Or it can work against it. That's why she doesn't treat stress as a personality problem. She looks at the routine. Sleep. Meal timing. Protein. Life stage. Because what worked in your 20s and 30s is often not what will support you in your 40s and 50s—especially as a woman. Biohacking Is Simpler Than You Think Biohacking can sound mysterious. Blue-blocking glasses. Red light. Expensive gadgets. Extreme protocols. Marina's definition is much simpler. Biohacking is changing your behavior—your lifestyle, your food, your movement, your bedtime—so you feel better. A better sleep routine is biohacking. Choosing a workout that actually suits your body is biohacking. Using a nutrient that supports your energy is biohacking. You do not need to live like Bryan Johnson. You do not need a perfect HRV score. Wearables can be useful, but the "healthy average" they are based on still includes a lot of people with health issues. The real win is your own improvement. If your HRV was 15 and now it's 25, that is progress. Don't chase someone else's number. Chase your own resilience. Vitality Means Function—Not Perfect Scores We are living longer. That part is not up for debate. The question is how we live those years. Marina's picture of vitality is this: You want to be able to go to the gym the day before you die. Not because fitness is the only measure of a life. Because vitality is function. It's health resilience. It's the ability to keep doing the things that make life feel like yours. Arthritis at 55. Exhaustion. "That's just aging." Some of those things are more optional than we've been told. They take effort. They take personalized care. But the goal isn't to collect more data. The goal is to stay capable. Sleep Is Your Best Biohack If Marina had to pick one place to start, it would be sleep. She used to run on four or five hours a night for decades. She thought she was fine. No midday crash. No obvious brain fog. Then she experimented with seven hours. And she felt the difference. That's the trap. A lot of people say they have no health concerns. Then the bloodwork tells a different story. By the time a conventional marker is flagged, the imbalance has often been building for years. So start with the foundation that costs almost nothing: Get to bed before midnight. Aim for at least seven hours of uninterrupted sleep in a dark room. Keep the room around 70 degrees. Put the phone on Wi-Fi or off. Blackout curtains. Women often need closer to seven to nine hours. And if you feel like you "can't function" without eight hours, Marina's response is simple: You're normal. Don't steal from sleep to make room for a 5 a.m. workout, fasting, and a cold plunge. That combination can look like the perfect protocol. For a woman in her 40s, it can also be the reason her cycle disappears. Sleep is not the thing you compromise so you can do more biohacks. Sleep is the biohack. If you do have an occasional short night, Marina's inexpensive support is creatine hydrochloride—not the monohydrate form that can make some women feel puffy. She uses it for brain sharpness, and she also likes it for bone, muscle, and liver support. But even that is an add-on. The core is still darkness, timing, and enough hours. Stop Chasing Trends Healthy intentions can still ruin your health. A perfect workout on five hours of sleep. Intermittent fasting that doesn't match your hormones. A cold plunge because it's popular. Coffee before your body has even woken up. Ten goals at once, then the feeling that you failed. Marina's approach is the opposite of all-or-nothing. Food is medicine. You take that "medicine" at least three times a day. So nutrition is first-line therapy—not something you try to out-supplement later. She has patients list ten lifestyle changes they already know they should make. Then they rank them from easiest to hardest. And they start with the easiest one. Warm water. Not drinking coffee in the first hour. One small, doable shift. If you change one habit every two months, you can have six solid habits by the end of the year. That's how resilience is built. Not through the loudest protocol. Through the one you can actually keep. Your Action Step Pick one thing. Not ten. Not a full biohacking stack. One. Protect your sleep this week. Get to bed before midnight. Make the room dark. Give yourself seven hours. Or, if sleep is already solid, choose the next easiest habit: delay your coffee, add protein at breakfast, or stop eating too close to bed. Then notice how you feel. That's the data that matters. Final Thoughts You don't need a more extreme version of health. You need a more sustainable one. Your sleep. Your stress. Your food. Your season of life. Those are the foundations of vitality. Optimization is optional. Resilience is not. Keep listening to your body. Your energy matters. How Introverted Health Coaches Can Build a Thriving Business Without Pretending to Be an Extrovert

If you've ever thought, "I'm too introverted to market myself," I want you to know something: You're not. Being an introvert doesn't mean you can't build a successful coaching business. It simply means you'll build it differently. For years, I believed I had to become someone else to be successful. I thought I had to be louder, more outgoing, and constantly "on" if I wanted clients to find me. But what I've learned after more than 15 years in business is this: Your depth is your greatest advantage. In this episode, I'm sharing the strategies that helped me move beyond my fear of visibility, how I practiced showing up before I felt ready, and why introverts often make the very best coaches. We'll talk about online and offline marketing, creating content without burnout, building genuine relationships, and using your natural strengths to attract ideal clients. If you've been hiding because marketing feels uncomfortable, this episode will help you step into your visibility without sacrificing who you are. In This Episode, We Cover: Why introverts make exceptional coaches How to overcome the fear of being visible The 30-day video challenge that changed my business Why empathy is one of the greatest sales skills How to create content without feeling overwhelmed The difference between being authentic and oversharing Why storytelling builds trust faster than marketing tactics Using long-form content to create weeks of social media posts The importance of email marketing for coaches Online and offline networking strategies for introverts Creating boundaries that protect your energy Why consistency matters more than perfection A Message I Want You to Hear You don't need to become an extrovert to build a successful business. You simply need the courage to let people see you. Your quiet nature isn't holding you back. Your fear is. And fear becomes smaller every time you practice showing up. Why Introverts Have a Unique Advantage Many people assume successful marketing belongs to the loudest person in the room. I don't believe that's true. Introverts naturally listen deeply. They ask thoughtful questions. They build meaningful relationships instead of surface-level connections. Those are the exact qualities that create incredible coaches. People don't buy because someone is the loudest. They buy because they feel understood. Visibility Is a Skill—Not a Personality Trait Talking on camera didn't come naturally to me. I practiced. One of the best things I ever did was complete a 30-day video challenge. I recorded videos, watched them back, improved little by little, and slowly became more comfortable sharing my message. Confidence didn't come first. Practice did. Create Content Your Way You don't have to go live every day. You don't have to dance on social media. You don't have to chase every trend. Instead: Record one long-form video each week. Turn it into short clips. Write thoughtful blog posts. Send a weekly email. Share meaningful stories. Repurpose your best content. Consistency beats complexity every time. Why Storytelling Creates Clients Facts educate. Stories connect. Your future clients want to know why you became a coach. What you've overcome. How your experiences shaped your method. The moments that changed your life often become the moments that inspire someone else to trust you. Don't hide your story. It's one of your greatest marketing assets. Protect Your Energy One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that your energy is part of your business strategy. Set office hours. Batch your content. Protect your mornings. Schedule recovery time. Create boundaries that allow you to serve others without burning yourself out. Your business should support your life—not consume it. Your Action Step Choose one platform. Commit to showing up consistently for the next 30 days. Don't worry about perfection. Don't compare yourself to anyone else. Focus on helping one person each time you create content. That's how confidence is built. Final Thoughts Your business doesn't need a louder version of you. It needs the real you. Your empathy. Your depth. Your ability to listen. Your willingness to share your story. Those qualities are exactly what your future clients are searching for. Keep showing up. Your message matters. Low Libido Isn't the Whole Story with Adanna Ikedilo

If you've ever been told that low libido is "just part of getting older," this episode is for you. The truth is, low desire is often just one piece of a much bigger picture. Hormones, stress, relationships, sleep, body image, vaginal health, and emotional connection all play a role in a woman's sexual health—and too often, these conversations never happen inside a traditional doctor's appointment. In this episode, I'm joined by Dr. Adanna Ikedilo, board-certified OB/GYN and founder of The GYN Lounge, to discuss why women's health deserves a more personalized approach. We talk about the realities of perimenopause and menopause, why many women feel dismissed by the healthcare system, and how telemedicine is helping bridge the gap between busy providers and women who need more time, education, and support. We also dive into the business side of medicine, what it takes to transition from a traditional practice to an online model, and why building systems allows practitioners to provide better care while creating more freedom in their lives. In This Episode, We Cover: Why low libido is about much more than hormones The biggest misconceptions about women's sexual health How perimenopause and menopause affect desire The connection between hormones, relationships, and emotional health Why women often feel unheard in traditional healthcare How telemedicine is changing women's healthcare Building an online medical practice while maintaining a brick-and-mortar office The challenges physicians face as business owners Marketing an online healthcare business through education and networking Why social media helps build trust with patients Overcoming perfectionism and showing up online Creating systems that improve both patient care and work-life balance A Message I Want You to Hear You deserve answers. You deserve to feel heard. And you deserve healthcare that looks at the whole picture—not just one symptom. Low libido isn't something you simply have to accept. There are options, treatments, and conversations that can help you reclaim your health and quality of life. Why Low Libido Is More Than Hormones Many people assume low libido is simply caused by declining hormone levels. While hormones certainly play a role, they're only one part of the equation. Relationship dynamics. Stress. Sleep. Body image. Pain during intimacy. Emotional connection. All of these factors influence sexual desire. That's why truly helping women requires a comprehensive approach rather than simply prescribing medication. How Telemedicine Is Changing Women's Healthcare One of the biggest challenges in traditional medicine is time. Office schedules are packed. Appointments run behind. Complex conversations often get squeezed into just a few minutes. Telemedicine creates space for deeper conversations. It allows providers to educate patients, answer questions thoroughly, and create personalized treatment plans without the limitations of a busy office schedule. For many women navigating perimenopause and menopause, that extra time makes all the difference. Building a Practice That Serves Patients Better Being a great physician doesn't automatically prepare someone to run a business. Dr. Adanna shares how learning operations, systems, compliance, marketing, and leadership became just as important as her medical expertise. By creating clear systems and patient-centered processes, she built an experience that removes many of the barriers women face when seeking care. Showing Up Online Without Perfection Like many healthcare professionals, Dr. Adanna initially hesitated to create content online. She worried about saying the right thing. Looking professional. Having the perfect setup. Eventually she realized that none of those things mattered as much as simply showing up. Sometimes the most impactful content starts with your phone, one message, and the willingness to press "publish." Your Action Step Whether you're a healthcare provider, coach, or entrepreneur, ask yourself: Where am I making things more complicated than they need to be? Could one simple system improve the experience for the people I serve? Could one imperfect social media post reach someone who needs my message today? Progress always starts with taking the first step. Final Thoughts Women's health deserves more conversation. More education. More compassion. And more individualized care. Whether you're navigating hormonal changes yourself or supporting others through them, remember that there is rarely just one answer. When we look at the whole person instead of just one symptom, we create space for real healing. The Hidden Drivers Behind Autoimmune Disease, Fatigue & Hair Loss with VJ Hamilton

If you've ever been told your lab work looks "normal," yet you still feel exhausted, inflamed, or like something just isn't right in your body, this episode is for you. Autoimmune conditions rarely happen overnight. For many people, symptoms build slowly over years—fatigue, digestive issues, hair loss, chronic inflammation, anxiety, and unexplained health changes that often leave them searching for answers. In this episode, I'm joined by VJ Hamilton, Registered Nutritionist, Functional Medicine Practitioner, and founder of the Autoimmune Nutrition Clinic. Together, we explore the hidden drivers behind autoimmune disease, why gut health and nervous system regulation matter so much, and how functional medicine helps uncover root causes instead of simply managing symptoms. We also discuss the surprising connection between stress, childhood health, gut health, alopecia, and why learning to truly listen to your body may be one of the most powerful healing tools you have. If you or your clients are navigating autoimmune conditions, chronic fatigue, or unexplained symptoms, this conversation offers hope, practical strategies, and a fresh perspective on healing. In This Episode, We Cover: Why autoimmune disease continues to rise The connection between gut health and autoimmune conditions How stress impacts the immune system The relationship between nervous system regulation and healing Common root causes behind alopecia and hair loss Why nutrient deficiencies and gut imbalances matter How childhood health influences adult autoimmune conditions Functional medicine testing for autoimmune disease The role of stool testing, Organic Acids Testing, and DUTCH testing Why personalized nutrition works better than one-size-fits-all approaches How to recognize early warning signs before symptoms become chronic Why healing starts by listening to your body A Message I Want You to Hear Healing isn't about chasing symptoms. It's about understanding why your body is asking for help in the first place. Your symptoms aren't your enemy. They're information. When you begin listening instead of silencing them, you create space for true healing. Why Autoimmune Disease Is Increasing Autoimmune disease is becoming more common than ever before. While improved diagnosis plays a role, lifestyle factors also contribute. Modern life exposes us to more chronic stress, environmental toxins, processed foods, sleep disruption, and nervous system overload than previous generations. All of these factors influence how the immune system functions. Healing requires looking beyond one symptom and understanding the bigger picture. The Gut-Immune Connection One of the first places VJ investigates is the gut. Why? Because the gut plays a central role in immune health. Digestive dysfunction, bacterial overgrowth, parasites, inflammation, and nutrient deficiencies can all contribute to immune dysregulation. When the gut isn't functioning well, the body struggles to absorb the nutrients needed for repair and healing. Supporting gut health often becomes one of the first steps toward restoring balance. Why Nervous System Regulation Matters Nutrition is only part of the equation. Healing also requires creating safety within the body. Chronic stress keeps the nervous system in a constant state of survival. Over time, this impacts digestion, hormone production, immune function, and energy levels. Simple practices like walking in nature, slowing down, mindfulness, Pilates, gratitude, and finding joy can help shift the body back toward healing. Listening to Your Body One of the most powerful lessons in this conversation is learning to notice the small signals before they become major health problems. Fatigue. Digestive discomfort. Joint pain. Changes in your skin. Hair loss. Sleep disruptions. Rather than pushing through them, these symptoms become opportunities to pause and ask what your body is trying to communicate. Functional Testing Creates Clarity Instead of guessing which supplements or protocols might help, functional testing provides valuable insight into what's happening beneath the surface. Some of the tests VJ commonly uses include: Comprehensive stool testing Organic Acids Testing (OAT) DUTCH hormone testing Functional blood work These tools help identify gut imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, detoxification challenges, hormone metabolism, and cellular health, allowing for a truly personalized healing plan. Your Action Step Instead of asking, "How do I get rid of this symptom?" Try asking: "What is my body trying to tell me?" Begin paying attention to your sleep, stress levels, digestion, energy, and emotional well-being. Small daily observations often become the first step toward lasting transformation. Final Thoughts Healing isn't about finding one magic supplement. It's about understanding your body as an interconnected system. When you support your gut, regulate your nervous system, nourish your body, and uncover the root causes behind your symptoms, healing becomes much more than symptom management. It becomes a way of living. How to Fill Your Coaching Program When You Feel Like Nobody's Watching

If you've ever wondered whether anyone is actually paying attention to your content, you're not alone. One of the biggest reasons health coaches struggle to fill their programs isn't because their offer isn't good. It's because they wait until launch week to start marketing. I know because I did the exact same thing. In this episode, I'm sharing the lessons I learned from my very first program launch, why perfection keeps coaches stuck, and the simple launch strategy I wish someone had taught me years ago. I'll also walk you through a practical six-week launch timeline, explain why your personal Facebook page may be your greatest marketing asset, and share the story of one of my students who filled her very first program without a large audience, paid ads, or a complicated funnel. If you've been waiting until you "feel ready" before putting yourself out there, this episode is your reminder that your future clients are already looking for you—you simply need to start the conversation. In This Episode, We Cover: Why perfection keeps coaches from filling their programs The biggest mistake I made during my first launch How imposter syndrome affects your marketing Why confidence matters before you ever make an offer A simple six-week launch strategy that actually works The four-week content plan I recommend before opening your cart How to warm up your audience before selling Why teaching before launching builds trust faster The power of using your personal Facebook page to attract clients How one of my students filled her first program with 44 clients Why consistency beats complicated marketing funnels Simple ways to start marketing your next launch today A Message I Want You to Hear Your program doesn't need to be more perfect. It needs to be more visible. So many coaches spend months creating beautiful content, polishing every lesson, and tweaking every worksheet. Then they wonder why nobody buys. The truth is, people can't purchase something they don't know exists. Marketing isn't the last step. It's part of building a successful program from the very beginning. Why Most Launches Fall Flat Many coaches spend nearly all their energy creating the perfect program. By the time they're ready to launch, they're exhausted. There's no marketing plan. No audience warm-up. No consistent messaging. Just one or two posts announcing that enrollment is open. Launching successfully starts weeks before you ever ask someone to buy. The Six-Week Launch Timeline Instead of waiting until launch week, begin preparing your audience early. Start by offering a free resource that solves one small part of the bigger problem your program addresses. That could be: A 3-day challenge A 5-day challenge A free training A downloadable guide A live workshop Then spend the next four weeks intentionally building trust. Week 1: Talk about the problem your ideal client is experiencing. Week 2: Share your story and engage your audience through lives, polls, and conversations. Week 3: Teach. Share frameworks, tips, and quick wins that demonstrate your expertise. Week 4: Highlight client success stories, testimonials, and invite people to take the next step. Why Teaching Creates Buyers Many coaches are afraid of giving away too much information. But the opposite is usually true. The more value you provide before launching, the more trust you build. People don't buy because you hide your knowledge. They buy because they experience what it's like to learn from you. Teaching consistently positions you as the coach they already know, like, and trust. Your Personal Network Is Bigger Than You Think One of the biggest myths in online business is that you need a massive audience before launching. You don't. One of my students filled her very first coaching program primarily through her personal Facebook page. She consistently shared helpful content. She went live. She taught small pieces of her framework. She invited conversations. And when enrollment opened, people were already ready to work with her. You probably have more potential clients in your existing network than you realize. Stop Perfecting. Start Marketing. Perfection doesn't create sales. Visibility does. Confidence doesn't appear before your first launch. It grows every time you show up. Instead of waiting until everything feels perfect, start talking about your program now. Share your ideas. Go live. Ask your audience a question. Start building trust today so your audience is ready when your offer opens. Final Thoughts Launching doesn't have to feel overwhelming. Peptides, Perimenopause & the Missing Piece Most Women Overlook with Bria Gadd

If you've been struggling with weight gain, poor sleep, anxiety, low energy, or simply not feeling like yourself anymore, you're not alone. Perimenopause can feel confusing. One day your body responds the way it always has, and the next, nothing seems to work. The problem is that most women are told it's "just hormones" or that everything looks normal because their labs are within range. But what if hormones are only part of the story? In this episode, I'm joined by Bria Gadd, Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® Practitioner and founder of The Period Whisperer, to talk about what's really happening during perimenopause. We discuss why your gut, liver, thyroid, adrenal health, nervous system, and metabolism all play a role in how you experience this transition. We also dive into peptides—one of the fastest-growing topics in functional medicine—and discuss when they're helpful, when they're not, and why they should never replace the foundations of good health. If you're a coach supporting women through midlife—or you're navigating this season yourself—this conversation will help you better understand your body, make more informed health decisions, and feel empowered about what's possible during this stage of life. In This Episode, We Cover: Why perimenopause is about more than declining hormones The connection between gut health, liver function, thyroid health, adrenal health, and hormone balance Why so many women are told they're "fine" despite feeling exhausted Whether every woman needs bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) Why functional testing should come before treatment The importance of "testing, not guessing" What peptides are and when they're actually beneficial Common mistakes women make with GLP-1 medications and peptide therapy Why nervous system regulation is essential during perimenopause The concept of "health debt" and how to rebuild your energy reserves A Message I Want You to Hear Your body isn't broken. It's communicating. Perimenopause isn't something you simply have to survive or push through. It's your body's way of asking for more support than it needed before. The sooner you stop fighting your body and start understanding it, the sooner you can begin feeling like yourself again. Why Perimenopause Is About More Than Hormones Many women believe perimenopause is simply about declining estrogen. But hormones are only one piece of the picture. As hormone levels begin to fluctuate, your body relies more heavily on your adrenal glands, thyroid, liver, gut, and nervous system to maintain balance. If those systems have been under stress for years, symptoms become much more noticeable. That's why two women can have completely different experiences during perimenopause. Understanding the whole-body picture is the key to finding lasting relief. Why Foundations Matter First Today we're surrounded by health advice. Take this supplement. Try this peptide. Start fasting. Use this biohack. But before adding advanced tools, Bria reminds us to strengthen the foundations. That means: Prioritizing quality sleep Eating whole, nutrient-dense foods consistently Moving your body every day Managing stress Supporting your nervous system Replenishing essential minerals When those basics are in place, everything else works better. Stop Guessing—Start Testing One of the biggest mistakes women make is trying supplement after supplement without understanding what's actually happening inside their bodies. Functional testing helps answer the question: Why? Instead of relying on trends or social media recommendations, testing provides a personalized roadmap based on your hormone pathways, gut health, liver function, metabolism, and overall physiology. When you know the root cause, you can make better decisions with confidence. Understanding Health Debt One of my favorite concepts from this conversation is what Bria calls health debt. Think of your body like a bank account. Years of chronic stress, poor sleep, overtraining, under-eating, inflammation, and constant demands create withdrawals. Eventually, those withdrawals leave your body with fewer reserves. Perimenopause often exposes that deficit. Before focusing on optimization, it's important to rebuild your energy savings account. Where Peptides Fit In Peptides have become one of the biggest conversations in women's health. But they're not magic. They're tools. Bria explains that peptides work best after you've optimized your foundations. Once your hormonal pathways, gut health, liver function, metabolism, and nervous system are functioning well, peptides can help support healing and performance. They're designed to enhance your progress—not replace healthy habits. Your Action Step Before purchasing another supplement or following the latest health trend, pause and ask yourself: Am I sleeping well? Am I eating enough nourishing foods? Am I managing my stress? Am I supporting my nervous system? Have I actually tested what's going on? Small foundational changes often create the biggest long-term transformations. Final Thoughts Perimenopause isn't the end of your vitality. It can be the beginning of your strongest chapter. When you understand what's happening beneath the surface, strengthen your foundations, and choose advanced tools intentionally, you give your body the opportunity to thrive—not just survive. You deserve to feel energetic. You deserve to feel strong. And you deserve to enjoy this next season of your life. The Non-Negotiables of 2026: How to Show Up on Video and Build a Profitable Business

If the thought of recording a video makes your heart race, you're not alone. I remember being terrified of showing up on camera. I overthought every word, worried about how I looked, and questioned whether anyone would even watch. But here's what I learned: The clients you're meant to help are on the other side of that fear. And in 2026, video is no longer optional. We're living in a time where trust matters more than ever. People have been over-marketed to, over-promised to, and overwhelmed by content. They want to know who they're learning from. They want to hear your voice, understand your perspective, and feel connected to the person behind the message. In this episode, I'm breaking down why video has become one of the biggest non-negotiables for coaches, how to overcome camera fear, the difference between short-form and long-form content, and the five videos every coach should have in their business. Because your future clients are watching. The question is: are you showing up? In This Episode, We Cover: • Why video is non-negotiable in 2026 • How to overcome the fear of being on camera • The impact of the current "trust recession" • Why AI makes authentic video content more important than ever • The difference between short-form and long-form video • How webinars help convert viewers into clients • The five essential videos every coach should create • How to repurpose one video into multiple pieces of content • Why consistency matters more than perfection • Simple steps to start showing up on video today A Message I Want You to Hear You do not need perfect lighting. You do not need the perfect script. You do not need the perfect camera. You need to start. Because confidence doesn't come before action. Confidence comes from taking action over and over again. Your future clients aren't waiting for a polished version of you someday. They're waiting for you right now. Why Video Is Non-Negotiable in 2026 We are living in what many experts call a "trust recession." People understand marketing. They know what funnels are. They know when they're being sold to. And with AI making content creation easier than ever, people are craving something real. They want to see the person behind the content. Video creates trust faster than almost any other format because people can hear your voice, experience your energy, and connect with your message. How to Get Over Camera Fear Every coach feels awkward at first. The key is not waiting for the fear to disappear. It's taking action anyway. A few simple tips: • Record and post before overanalyzing • Focus on serving instead of performing • Imagine talking to one ideal client • Use notes or slides if they help you stay focused • Remember that nobody starts as an expert on camera The more you show up, the easier it becomes. Short-Form vs. Long-Form Video Both formats serve different purposes. Short-Form Video Platforms include: • Instagram Reels • TikTok • YouTube Shorts Best for: • Quick tips • Myth busting • Mindset shifts • Visibility and reach These videos are typically one to three minutes long. Long-Form Video Platforms include: • YouTube • Podcast videos • Webinar replays • Masterclasses Best for: • Building trust • Teaching your method • Demonstrating expertise • Converting viewers into clients Long-form content allows people to spend more time with you and understand your approach. Why Webinars Convert So Well Webinars remain one of the highest-converting forms of video content. A strong webinar should: • Share your story • Teach something useful • Address the real problem your audience faces • Handle common objections • Include one clear call to action The goal isn't to overwhelm people with information. The goal is to help them understand why your solution works. The 5 Videos Every Coach Needs 1. Your Origin Story Why do you do this work? What experiences led you here? This is the video that helps people connect with you emotionally. 2. Your Signature Talk Explain your unique framework, process, or philosophy. Focus on the transformation you help create—not the features of your program. 3. The Biggest Mistake Share the most common mistake your ideal client is making. Help them see what they can't currently see. 4. A Client Success Story Walk people through a real transformation. Show the challenges, breakthroughs, and outcomes. Stories build trust. 5. FAQ and Objection Buster Answer questions like: • Is this right for me? • How long does it take? • Why does this work? • What makes your approach different? This content can help sell for you 24/7. One Video Can Create a Week of Content A single long-form video can become: • Reels • Social posts • Email newsletters • YouTube content • Podcast episodes • Blog posts Instead of constantly creating from scratch, one piece of content can fuel your entire marketing strategy. Your Action Step This week, choose one of the five video types: • Origin Story • Signature Talk • Biggest Mistake • Client Success Story • FAQ Buster Record it. Don't wait for perfection. Post it. Then repurpose it into multiple pieces of content. Because the only way to become comfortable on video is to start using your voice. Final Thoughts You have something worth saying. Your audience needs your message. And there is someone right now searching for the exact solution you provide. Don't hide behind more certifications. Don't spend six hours adjusting Canva templates. Don't wait until you feel ready. Show up. Press record. And trust that your voice matters. Resources Are you a health coach in need of done-for-you content? Why Podcasting Is the Smartest Visibility Move You Can Make in 2026

If you're tired of chasing the algorithm, this episode is for you. One day reels are working. The next day everyone says carousels are back. Then someone tells you long-form captions are dead. Another person says you need to post three times a day. Before you know it, you're spending more time trying to keep up with social media than actually growing your business. And that's exhausting. In this episode, I'm sharing why podcasting may be one of the smartest visibility moves you can make in 2026 — not because it's trendy, but because it gives you something social media often doesn't: Depth. Connection. Authority. Trust. We talk about why relying solely on social media can keep coaches stuck in an endless cycle of content creation, how podcasting creates deeper relationships with potential clients, and why your voice may be one of your most powerful business assets. If you've been thinking about starting a podcast, or you're looking for a more sustainable way to grow your visibility, this conversation will help you see what's possible. In This Episode, We Cover: • Why social media is a rented platform • The problem with chasing the algorithm • What a "trust recession" means for coaches • Why podcasting builds deeper trust than social media • How podcasts help establish authority in your niche • Why podcast listeners become warmer leads • How podcasting shortens the trust-building process • The four foundational podcast episodes every coach should create • How to repurpose podcast content into weeks of marketing • Why perfection is keeping many coaches from getting started A Message I Want You to Hear You do not need to be the loudest coach online. You do not need to post ten times a day. You do not need to chase every trend. What you need is a clear message, a consistent voice, and a way to build trust with the people you are meant to serve. Because your future clients don't just need information. They need to trust the person behind the information. Why Social Media Alone Isn't Enough Social media is a powerful discovery tool. But it's also a rented stage. You don't control who sees your content. You don't control platform updates. You don't control algorithm changes. And when your entire business depends on a platform you don't own, visibility can feel unpredictable and frustrating. That's why coaches need additional ways to build authority and connection. We Are Living in a Trust Recession People are more skeptical than ever. They've purchased programs that overpromised and underdelivered. They've followed experts who weren't what they claimed to be. They've seen marketing messages everywhere. As a result, trust takes longer to build. And in 2026, the coaches who stand out won't necessarily be the ones posting the most. They'll be the ones building trust the deepest. Why Podcasting Creates Deeper Connection A podcast allows people to hear: • Your voice • Your stories • Your perspective • Your energy • Your philosophy They aren't just consuming content. They're building a relationship with you. When someone listens to you for 15, 20, or 30 minutes, they gain a much deeper understanding of how you think and how you help people. That level of connection is difficult to create through a single social media post. Why Podcasting Works So Well for Health Coaches Health coaching is personal. People aren't simply purchasing information. They're investing in support, guidance, accountability, and trust. Potential clients often ask themselves: • Do I trust this person? • Do I feel understood? • Does this approach make sense for me? • Can this coach actually help me? A podcast helps answer those questions before someone ever books a discovery call. Building Authority Through Your Voice Many coaches teach similar topics: • Gut health • Hormones • Weight loss • Blood sugar balance • Stress management • Metabolism • Mindset What makes you different isn't necessarily what you teach. It's how you teach it. Your stories. Your frameworks. Your experiences. Your perspective. Podcasting gives you a platform to showcase those differences and become memorable. The Long-Term Value of Podcast Content Social media content often disappears within hours. Podcast episodes continue working for you. Someone can discover an episode weeks, months, or years later. They can binge multiple episodes. They can spend hours learning from you. That creates a very different relationship than someone who scrolls past a post in seven seconds. The Four Episodes Every New Podcast Needs You don't need to plan an entire year of content. Start with four foundational episodes: Episode 1: Your Story Why do you do this work? What led you here? Episode 2: The Biggest Problem Your Audience Faces What challenge is keeping your ideal client stuck? Episode 3: Your Method or Philosophy How is your approach different? What do you believe that others don't? Episode 4: A Practical Teaching Episode Give listeners a quick win they can implement immediately. One Podcast Can Fuel Your Entire Content Strategy A single podcast episode can become: • A newsletter • Multiple social media posts • Reels • Carousels • Blog content • YouTube videos • Facebook posts • Client resources Instead of constantly wondering what to post, your podcast becomes your content engine. Stop Waiting for Perfect Many coaches delay podcasting because they think they need: • Better equipment • A larger audience • More confidence • Better branding • More experience But clarity comes through action. You get better by recording. You become more confident by using your voice. And your podcast improves every time you hit record. Final Thoughts Your voice is one of the most powerful tools you have. Not because it's perfect. But because it's yours. If you're tired of chasing the algorithm and looking for a more sustainable way to build visibility, authority, and trust, podcasting may be exactly what your business needs. Your future clients don't need another tip. They need to trust the person behind the tip. And a podcast gives you the opportunity to build that trust every single week. How to Build a Capsule Blog That Gets You Clients on Repeat with Jana Osofsky

What if you could stop chasing the algorithm and start creating content that continues working for you long after you hit publish? For many health and wellness coaches, content creation feels exhausting. Social media demands constant attention, trends change overnight, and it can feel like you're always creating something new just to stay visible. But what if there was a smarter way? In this episode, I'm joined by Jana Osofsky, marketing expert, content strategist, Pinterest educator, and creator of the High-Leverage Content framework. Jana helps coaches, practitioners, and service providers build a small library of evergreen blog content that attracts leads, nurtures trust, and converts readers into clients on repeat. We dive into her Capsule Blog strategy — a system built around creating just 12–20 highly strategic blog posts that answer your audience's biggest questions, address their objections, and become assets you can use throughout your marketing and sales process. If you're tired of feeling like you're feeding the social media monster every day, this conversation will completely change how you think about content creation. In This Episode, We Cover: • What a Capsule Blog Library is and how it works • Why 12–20 strategic blog posts can outperform hundreds of random posts • How to identify the topics your audience actually needs • The role of belief-shifting content in the buying journey • How to use blogs throughout your sales process • Why repetition builds trust and conversions • The difference between blogging for conversions and blogging for keywords • Jana's "unforced SEO" philosophy • How to repurpose blog content into months of marketing content • Why blogs can make sales calls dramatically easier A Message I Want You to Hear You do not need to create endless content to grow your business. You do not need to publish new posts every day. You do not need to constantly reinvent your message. What you need is clarity. When you know exactly what your audience needs to hear to feel ready to buy, your content becomes more effective, your marketing becomes easier, and your sales process becomes more streamlined. What Is a Capsule Blog Library? A Capsule Blog Library is a collection of approximately 12–20 evergreen blog posts that cover the most important things your audience needs to understand before they feel ready to work with you. Instead of creating endless new content, you build a foundation of high-converting content and use it repeatedly throughout your business. The goal isn't to become a full-time blogger. The goal is to create strategic content that continues generating leads and sales long after it's published. Start With What Your Audience Needs to Hear One of the biggest mistakes coaches make is creating content based on what they feel like talking about. Instead, Jana recommends identifying: • The problems your offer solves • The desires your audience wants most • The beliefs holding them back • The misconceptions preventing them from taking action • The frameworks that make your approach unique When your blog addresses these areas, it naturally becomes part of the buying journey. How to Use Blogs in Your Sales Process Most coaches write a blog post and then move on. Jana teaches a different approach. When prospects ask questions through DMs, email, or discovery calls, she often directs them to a relevant blog post that answers their question in greater depth. This creates trust, demonstrates expertise, and often moves potential clients closer to a buying decision before they ever get on a sales call. As Jana explains, clients who have already consumed your content often arrive on sales calls with fewer objections and greater confidence in your process. Why Repetition Is a Good Thing Many coaches worry about repeating themselves. But repetition is actually one of the most powerful conversion tools available. Your audience needs to hear your core message multiple times before it sticks. Rather than constantly creating brand-new content, Jana encourages business owners to repeat and reinforce their key messages across their blog, email marketing, social media, and sales conversations. Consistency creates clarity. Clarity creates trust. Trust creates sales. The Difference Between Traditional SEO and "Unforced SEO" Most people start blogging by researching keywords. Jana takes a different approach. Instead of beginning with keyword research, she recommends creating content based on what your audience genuinely needs to learn. Over time, this creates authority and trust — both with readers and search engines. She calls this approach "unforced SEO." Rather than chasing keywords, you're creating meaningful content first and allowing search visibility to grow naturally as your authority increases. How to Repurpose Your Blog Content One blog post can become dozens of content pieces. Jana recommends extracting: • Opinion statements • Key teaching points • Frameworks • Stories • Lists • Frequently asked questions These can then become: • Social media posts • Email newsletters • Podcast topics • Presentation topics • Workshop content • Discovery call resources This allows one piece of content to work across multiple platforms and channels. Human Content Still Matters Rachel and Jana also discuss the rise of AI-generated content. While Jana uses AI tools to support the writing process, she emphasizes that human-first content still matters. Your thought leadership, perspective, experiences, and voice are what make your content valuable. AI can help organize ideas, but it should not replace the unique insights that only you can provide. Why Your Blog Belongs on Your Website With platforms like Substack becoming increasingly popular, many business owners wonder where their content should live. Jana's recommendation is clear: Your most valuable content should live on your own website. When your blog lives on your site: • You own the content • You control the customer journey • Visitors can easily learn about your offers • You build authority on your own platform Your website should be your content home base. Final Thoughts The most effective content isn't necessarily the newest content. It's the content that clearly communicates your expertise, answers your audience's questions, and helps them feel ready to take the next step. A Capsule Blog Library allows you to create once and leverage repeatedly. And when used strategically, it can become one of the most powerful assets in your business. How to Move Through Fear and Build Your Coaching Business Anyway

How many times have you been this close to hitting publish… This close to launching your offer… This close to finally putting yourself out there… and then stopped yourself? That something has a name. Fear. In this episode, we're talking about the fears that keep so many coaches stuck — the fear of starting, launching, being visible, being judged, not getting clients, and ultimately… the fear that maybe this won't work for you. Because here's the truth: Fear is not the enemy. Staying silent because of fear is. In this conversation, I'm breaking down the six biggest fears I see health and wellness coaches face and how to move through them without waiting to feel "ready." Because confidence isn't something you magically wake up with. Confidence is built through action. And if you've been waiting for fear to disappear before you start your business, post the video, launch the program, or raise your prices — this episode will shift everything for you. In This Episode, We Cover: • Why fear is the #1 reason coaches stay stuck • The difference between fear and facts • Why "almost ready" keeps you from growing • How perfectionism hides behind launch fear • Why messy action creates momentum • The truth about showing up on video • How fear of judgment keeps coaches invisible • Why your mission has to become bigger than your fear • The real reason some coaches succeed and others quit • 5 practical ways to move through fear today A Message I Want You to Hear You do not need to feel ready to begin. You do not need a perfect website. You do not need more certifications. You do not need to become someone else first. You need to start. Because the version of you that feels confident, visible, and successful is not created through waiting. She is built through action. The Fear of Starting One of the biggest fears coaches experience is the fear of beginning. It sounds like: • "I need one more certification." • "I'll start when my website is done." • "I need more followers first." • "I'm not ready yet." But what's really happening is this: You're not waiting to be ready. You're waiting to feel safe. And readiness is not a feeling — it's a decision. The coaches who succeed are not the ones who waited until everything was perfect. They started messy. They started scared. And they built confidence through movement. The Fear of Launching Launching feels vulnerable because you are putting your work, your knowledge, and your heart into the world and asking people to say yes. And that's brave. So many coaches delay launching because they fear: • Nobody will buy • People will judge the price • They'll hear crickets • They'll fail publicly But a messy launch that signs one client is infinitely more powerful than a perfect program that never gets released. One client creates momentum. One client creates proof. One client changes everything. The Fear of Being Visible on Video Video forces visibility. And visibility can feel deeply uncomfortable. Many coaches believe they need to be: • Perfect • Polished • Confident • Professional-looking But people do not connect to perfection. They connect to realness. Your audience wants to hear your voice, feel your energy, and trust the human behind the brand. That trust is what builds a coaching business. The Fear of Being Judged This fear stops so many incredible coaches from showing up online. What will people think? What if somebody laughs? What if someone from my past sees this? But most of the people we fear judgment from are not our ideal clients. They are people who would never hire us anyway. Meanwhile, the people who actually need your help cannot find you if you stay hidden. Visibility is not vanity. It is service. The Fear of Not Getting Clients This fear often creates behaviors like: • Underpricing • Over-giving • Over-explaining • Discounting before anyone asks At the root of it is one belief: "People won't pay me." But people invest in transformation every single day. The real question is not whether people buy. The question is: Do you believe in the transformation you provide? Because if you don't believe in your value, your audience will feel that. The Fear That You Won't Make It This is the deepest fear of all. The fear that maybe you'll try everything… and still fail. But building a coaching business is not linear. There will be: • Failed launches • Slow months • Moments of doubt • Periods where nothing seems to work The coaches who succeed are not the most talented. They are the ones who stay. They learn. They refine. They ask for help. And they keep going. 5 Ways to Move Through Fear 1. Name the Fear Write it down. Say it out loud. Fear loses power when it becomes specific. 2. Ask: Is This Fear or Fact? Most fear is a story — not evidence. Challenge the story. 3. Take the Smallest Possible Step Momentum matters more than perfection. Post one story. Send one email. Start one conversation. 4. Get Around People Who Are Doing It Fear grows in isolation. Community reminds you that success is possible. 5. Make Your Mission Bigger Than Your Fear Your future clients need you. And your message matters more than your discomfort. Final Thoughts Fear does not mean you are in the wrong business. It means you care. Every successful coach has felt fear. Every successful coach has doubted themselves. Every successful coach has wanted to quit at some point. The difference is they kept moving. So start the thing. Post the video. Launch the offer. Have the conversation. Do it scared if you have to. Just do it. Resources Are you a health coach in need of done-for-you content? Why Your Story Is Your Most Powerful Sales Tool

If you've been showing up consistently, creating valuable content, and still not seeing conversions… this episode might completely shift your perspective. Because the problem may not be your offer. It might be your story. We're living in what I call a "trust recession"—a time where people are more cautious than ever about who they trust, invest in, and work with. And in a saturated online space filled with AI-generated content, polished marketing, and endless noise, one thing still cuts through: Authentic storytelling. In this episode, I'm breaking down why your story is your most powerful business asset—and how to use it to build trust, connection, and ultimately, sales. What You'll Learn in This Episode What a "trust recession" is and why it's affecting your business Why storytelling builds deeper trust than credentials or data The psychology behind why stories convert better than facts The 5 essential types of stories every coach needs to tell How to structure your story so it connects and converts Common storytelling mistakes that weaken your message How to confidently share your story across your brand The 5 Types of Stories You Need in Your Business 1. Origin Story This is your "why." The moment or journey that led you to do this work. This is what builds foundational trust. 2. Transformation Story Your personal before-and-after—highlighting the struggle, the turning point, and the real results. 3. Client Story Stories that showcase your clients' journeys (not just results), creating relatable proof and connection. 4. Failure or Pivot Story The moments where things didn't work—and what you learned. This is what builds deep authenticity. 5. Vision Story Where you're going and the impact you want to create. This is what attracts aligned, dream clients. How to Tell Stories That Convert Lead with emotion, not just information Use sensory details to make your story vivid and real Always connect your story back to your audience Practice until it feels natural and authentic Tell your story consistently across all platforms Key Takeaway Your story is the one thing no one else can copy. And in today's market, it's not just nice to have—it's your competitive advantage. If people don't feel connected to you, they won't buy from you. Final Thoughts If you've been holding back from sharing your story because it feels "not enough" or "not polished"… This is your sign to start. Your story might be exactly what someone needs to hear to finally choose you.

Feminine Embodiment, Nervous System Regulation, and Selling With Soul with Elizabeth Munoz

If you've ever felt turned off by pushy sales tactics… If you've tried showing up online but it feels forced, exhausting, or not aligned… This episode is for you. For so long, success in business has been tied to hustle, pressure, and what we now call "bro marketing." But what if you could build a thriving business without pushing, chasing, or burning out? In this episode, I sit down with Elizabeth Munoz, founder of Soulhaven and the visionary behind the Radiant CEO movement — a new model of feminine leadership rooted in nervous system regulation and sustainable growth — to talk about what it really means to sell with soul, reconnect with your body, and build a business that works for you — not the other way around. After losing her corporate career to burnout, Elizabeth rebuilt her life and business from a regulated baseline rather than urgency, and now teaches female entrepreneurs how to scale without self-abandonment. We dive into feminine embodiment, nervous system regulation, and how your energy, not just your strategy, is what truly attracts clients. Because when you feel safe, grounded, and aligned… You don't have to chase — you become magnetic. In This Episode, We Explore: • What feminine embodiment really means • How disconnection from your body impacts your business • The difference between "bro marketing" and soul-led selling • Why nervous system regulation is essential for success • How to create boundaries in business without guilt • The power of intuition in decision-making • How to rebuild trust with yourself through small actions • Why worthiness is the foundation of visibility and sales • How to shift from chasing clients to attracting them • Simple practices to reconnect with your body and energy A Message I Want You to Hear You were born worthy. You don't have to prove yourself. You don't have to earn your value. You don't have to push to be seen. When you reconnect with your body, your intuition, and your truth — you begin to reclaim your power. And from that place… everything changes. Feminine embodiment is the process of coming back home to your body. It's moving from your head — where overthinking, doubt, and pressure live — into your body, your heart, and your intuition. It's about trusting your inner wisdom, honoring your natural rhythms, and allowing yourself to feel instead of constantly performing. Because when you're disconnected from your body, you're disconnected from your power. From Hustle to Alignment Many women were taught to succeed through: • Hustle • Overworking • Constant proving • Pushing through exhaustion But this approach often leads to burnout and disconnection. True success comes from alignment — not force. When your business supports your life (instead of consuming it), everything feels different. Selling With Soul vs. "Bro Marketing" Pushy sales tactics create pressure, scarcity, and distrust. Soul-led selling feels different. It's rooted in: • Service, not pressure • Connection, not manipulation • Trust, not urgency When you know your value and believe in what you offer, you don't need to convince people. You simply share — and the right people are drawn to you. The Power of the Sacred Pause When something doesn't feel right, your body knows. The key is giving yourself space to listen. A "sacred pause" means stepping away from noise, distraction, and pressure — and sitting with your inner voice. Instead of reacting immediately, you allow clarity to come through. And when clarity comes, you move with confidence. Rebuilding Trust With Yourself So many women struggle with trusting themselves. The solution isn't more information — it's small, consistent action. Start with simple commitments: • A short walk • A small task • A daily practice Each time you follow through, you rebuild trust with your body and your intuition. Worthiness and Visibility If you don't feel worthy, you will struggle to be seen. Visibility isn't just about strategy — it's about belief. When you believe you are enough, you show up differently. You speak differently. You sell differently. You attract differently. Nervous System Regulation in Business Your nervous system plays a huge role in how you show up. If you're constantly in stress or survival mode, everything feels harder. Simple practices can help you regulate: • Deep breathing • Stretching in the morning • Slowing down before calls or content • Humming to activate the vagus nerve When your body feels safe, your energy shifts — and people feel that. From Spotlight to Sunrise Traditional marketing feels like a spotlight — limited and competitive. But feminine energy is more like a sunrise. There is space for everyone to rise. When you embrace your authenticity and support others, you create expansion instead of competition. Final Thoughts You don't need to push harder. You don't need to prove more. You don't need to follow strategies that don't feel aligned. You need to come back to yourself. Because when you are fully embodied, grounded, and aligned — your business becomes an extension of who you are. And that is where true success lives.

Silencing Imposter Syndrome: 12 Actionable Steps to Own Your Voice

If you've ever sat in a meeting, been asked for your opinion, and immediately thought… "Who am I to speak up?" "They're going to find out I don't belong here." You're not alone. In this episode, we're talking about imposter syndrome — not just what it is, but what to actually do about it. Because I'm done with advice that sounds good but doesn't help you in real life… like on a Tuesday morning when you're about to walk into a client call and your confidence is nowhere to be found. This episode is packed with real, actionable steps you can start using today. Here's something to hold onto: 70% of people across every industry experience imposter syndrome. Maya Angelou felt it. Tom Hanks talked about it. Michelle Obama wrote about it. So if you've ever felt like you're one mistake away from being exposed — you're in very good company. And more importantly, there is a way through it. In This Episode, We Cover: • How to recognize imposter syndrome when it shows up • How to reframe the stories you're telling yourself • How to take action even when you don't feel ready • How to build confidence through consistent action • 12 practical steps to help you own your voice Resources: Are you a health coach in need of done-for-you content? Launch your podcast or get full podcast management services here: https://rachelafeldman.com/the-healthy-hustle-podcast-agency/ Tip #1: Name It Out Loud The next time that voice shows up, don't ignore it — name it. Say: "I'm experiencing imposter syndrome right now." When you label the emotion, you activate the rational part of your brain and shift from reaction to response. This isn't truth — it's a feeling. And feelings can be worked with. Tip #2: Remember You're Not Alone 70% of people experience this. That means the people sitting in your next Zoom call are likely feeling it too. You're not broken. You're growing. Tip #3: Keep a Win Journal Imposter syndrome has selective memory. It remembers your mistakes — and forgets your wins. Start tracking your wins weekly: • Solved a problem • Got a thank you message • Finished something hard This becomes your proof when your brain tries to tell you otherwise. Tip #4: Separate Feelings from Facts Ask yourself: Is this true… or does it just feel true? Your thoughts are convincing — but they're not always accurate. Challenge them. Tip #5: Embrace the Learning Curve Replace: "I don't belong here" With: "I haven't learned this yet." That one word changes everything. Discomfort doesn't mean you're in the wrong place — it means you're growing. Tip #6: Act First, Feel Confident Later Confidence doesn't come before action. It comes from action. Do it scared. Do it messy. Do it anyway. Tip #7: Share Before It's Perfect Perfectionism and imposter syndrome go hand in hand. Stop waiting for perfect. Share at 80%. Progress builds confidence — perfection delays it. Tip #8: Say Yes to One Stretch Opportunity Pick one thing this month that scares you. • Apply for something • Pitch yourself • Start the thing Growth happens when you stretch. Tip #9: Find a Mentor or Accountability Partner You don't have to do this alone. Mentors don't just give advice — they give permission. Accountability keeps you moving forward when doubt creeps in. Tip #10: Talk About It Imposter syndrome thrives in silence. Say it out loud. Most of the time, you'll hear: "Me too." Tip #11: Celebrate Others Without Comparing Someone else's success is not your failure. It's proof that it's possible. Practice celebrating others — it builds an abundance mindset. Tip #12: Create Your Evidence List Write down your top 5 real accomplishments. Keep them visible. When doubt shows up, read them out loud. Because the antidote to a lie is the truth. Final Thoughts You are not behind. You are not unqualified. You are not a fraud. You are growing. And everything you're feeling right now is part of becoming the person you're meant to be. If this episode resonated with you, share it with someone who needs it. And remember — you don't need to feel ready to take the next step. You just need to take it.

If you've been hearing about peptides everywhere lately and wondering what they actually are — or whether they're safe, effective, or just another trend — this episode will give you clarity. Because peptides are not just another wellness trend. They are quickly becoming one of the most talked-about tools in health optimization, fat loss, anti-aging, and longevity — and when used correctly, they can be truly transformational. In this episode, I'm joined by Jay Campbell, health optimization pioneer, five-time international bestselling author, and co-founder of BioLongevity Labs. With over two decades of experience in peptides, hormone optimization, and human longevity, Jay breaks down what peptides actually are, how they work, and how to use them safely and effectively. We talk about everything from fat loss peptides and cognitive support to healing, anti-aging, and the importance of hormone optimization. If you're curious about peptides and want a grounded, no-hype explanation of how they actually work — this episode is for you. In This Episode, We Cover: What peptides are and why they're considered a "quantum shift" in health How peptides act as signaling molecules in the body The connection between hormone optimization and peptide effectiveness The truth about GLP-1 peptides and common side effects Why most negative peptide experiences come from misuse Where beginners should start with peptides The concept of stacking peptides and how to do it safely Peptides for fat loss, healing, cognition, and anti-aging Why lifestyle and habits still matter when using peptides The future of peptides in health and wellness Resources: Are you a health coach in need of done-for-you content? With over two decades of experience in peptides, hormone optimization, and human longevity, Jay translates complex biomedical research into practical, evidence-based strategies that help people improve their metabolism, vitality, and overall well-being. His work focuses on helping individuals optimize their biology, extend their healthspan, and live with greater energy and intention. What Are Peptides and Why Are They So Powerful? So let's start here — peptides are essentially chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body. And what makes them so powerful is that they don't just mask symptoms — they communicate with your body at a cellular level. Jay explains that peptides can help address the root cause of illness, disease, and dysregulation, which is why they're being seen as a major shift in modern health. Jay: "Peptides really do represent what I call a fundamental, if not quantum change in health… they address the root cause of illness, disease, and dysregulation." Why Hormone Optimization Comes First Before jumping into peptides, Jay emphasizes something critical: If your hormones are not balanced, your results with peptides will be limited. Many people today are unknowingly dealing with hormone deficiencies due to stress, environment, and lifestyle. Jay: "If you have a hormone deficiency, it's much harder to experience transformational results from peptides." The Truth About GLP-1 Peptides GLP-1 peptides are one of the most talked-about topics right now — especially for fat loss. But Jay explains that the negative side effects people hear about are usually due to: Starting at too high of a dose Poor lifestyle habits When used correctly — especially through microdosing and proper lifestyle support — these peptides can be incredibly effective. Jay: "The side effects… are dose and lifestyle related." Where to Start with Peptides If you're new to peptides, it can feel overwhelming. Jay recommends starting with your biggest need — not everything at once. For many people, that's fat loss or metabolic health. From there, you can layer in other peptides for: Sleep Recovery Healing Cognitive support The key is to keep it simple and intentional. What Is Peptide Stacking? Stacking peptides means combining different peptides together to enhance results. But this is considered more advanced. Jay recommends: Start with one peptide Learn how your body responds Then gradually introduce combinations He also explains the importance of cycling peptides to avoid receptor fatigue. Peptides for Healing, Brain Health, and Anti-Aging One of the most exciting aspects of peptides is how versatile they are. There are peptides designed for: Injury recovery and healing Brain function and memory Anti-aging and skin health Mitochondrial support Some peptides even show potential in supporting neurodegenerative conditions — highlighting how powerful this space is becoming. Why Lifestyle Still Matters Peptides are powerful — but they are not magic. Jay emphasizes that results come from combining peptides with: Proper nutrition Strength training Cardiovascular exercise Hormone optimization Without these, even the best peptides won't deliver optimal results. The Future of Peptides As research continues to grow, peptides are becoming more accessible and more advanced. From new delivery systems to more targeted therapies, Jay believes peptides will continue to transform how we approach health, longevity, and performance. Final Thoughts Peptides represent a powerful tool in modern wellness — but like any tool, they must be used correctly. When combined with the right lifestyle, proper guidance, and a clear understanding of your body, they can support true transformation at a deeper level.

How to Get Your First 3 Coaching Clients (Without a Huge Audience)

If you've been posting, learning, tweaking your offers, and still wondering why no one is reaching out to work with you — this episode is for you. Because getting your first three clients is not about having a big audience, going viral, or building a complicated funnel. It's about clarity, connection, and taking simple, consistent action. In this episode, I'm breaking down exactly how to get your first three paying coaching clients, even if you're just getting started and don't have a large following. Once you land those first three clients, everything changes — your confidence, your messaging, your momentum, and your belief in what you're building. In This Episode, I Cover: • Why your first 3 clients matter more than your first 100 • The biggest mistake new coaches make when trying to get clients • Why you don't need a large audience to start signing clients • The mindset shift from perfection to connection • How to get clear on your niche and message • What a simple starter offer actually looks like • Where your first clients are really coming from • How to start conversations that lead to clients • Why you must clearly invite people to work with you • The role of messy action in building your business Resources: Are you a health coach in need of done-for-you content? Visit https://yourhealthcoachbiz.com and save 40% using code GO40. Launch your podcast or get full podcast management services here: https://rachelafeldman.com/the-healthy-hustle-podcast-agency/ Why Your First 3 Clients Change Everything So I want you to understand — your first three clients are not just about making money. They are about momentum. They give you proof, confidence, and the shift from feeling like you're trying to be a coach… to actually becoming one. "Once you get those first three, everything starts to shift… you stop feeling like you're trying to be a coach and start actively becoming one." You Don't Need a Big Audience One of the biggest myths I see new coaches believing is that they need thousands of followers before they can sign clients. You don't. You don't need a perfect website, branding, or a huge audience. What you do need is: • A clear problem you solve • A simple way to talk about it • The courage to invite people "You don't need 10K followers… what you need is a clear problem you help people solve… and the courage to actually invite people." Your Clients Come from Connection, Not Perfection I see so many coaches stuck in preparation mode. Tweaking graphics. Rewriting bios. Taking another course. All while avoiding the one thing that actually gets clients — connection. Your first clients don't come from perfection. They come from conversations. "Your first clients come from connection, not perfection." Stop Trying to Help Everyone If your message is vague, people won't feel seen. Instead, focus on: • One type of person • One clear problem You want someone to hear your message and immediately think: "That's me." "When we try to help everyone, your message gets weak and vague… pick one type of person and one main problem." Keep Your Offer Simple You don't need a complicated program to start. Your first offer can be: • A 4-week coaching package • A 6-week jumpstart • A single intensive • A beta offer The goal is not perfection. The goal is experience, results, and momentum. "The goal is not to create your forever offer… it's to create an offer that helps someone get a result." Your First Clients Are Already Around You Most people overcomplicate this part. Your first clients are likely: • Friends • Family • Followers • People already watching you These are the easiest people to start with because trust already exists. "It's most likely the people who know you… these are the easiest people to start with." You Have to Tell People You're Open This is where many coaches drop the ball. They post content — but never actually say: "I'm taking clients." You need to be clear. You need to invite. You need to lead. "People cannot hire you if they don't know you exist." Conversations Close Clients Content builds awareness. But conversations build trust and close clients. This looks like: • Responding to comments • Messaging people back • Asking questions • Inviting people to calls "Content can open the door, but conversations close the gap." Don't Ignore Offline Opportunities Not everything happens online. Some of your fastest wins can come from: • Local events • Workshops • Networking • Conversations in real life Sometimes the quickest way to sign a client is to stop hiding behind your phone. You Have to Ask At some point, you need to make an offer. Not pushy. Not salesy. Just clear. Examples: • "I'm opening 3 spots…" • "I'm looking for women who want support with…" • "Send me the word START…" "Your first three clients are not going to come from hoping people figure it out." Your First Clients Are Data Your first clients help you learn: • What people actually need • How they talk about their problems • What objections come up • How to refine your offer They are not meant to be perfect. They are part of the process. "They're feedback, data, market research, and proof of concept." Final Thoughts If you've been waiting to feel ready… Waiting for more followers… Waiting for everything to be perfect… You don't need to wait. You need to start. Your first three clients are already within reach — through the conversations you haven't started yet. "Messy action will build your business faster than perfection ever will."
