A Danish Christmas Hallmark Christmas Movie Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Andrea and Eric review A Danish Christmas, the new Hallmark Countdown to Christmas movie starring Emilie Ullerup and Corey Sevier. Marie comes home to her family's inn in Copenhagen, mistakes a guest named Ryan Miller for a travel writer, and builds an entire hygge tour to impress him. It's a movie that runs almost entirely on feeling rather than plot, and both hosts walked away calling it their favorite of the season so far. The star rating still got renegotiated halfway through the episode. What You'll Hear: • Why Corey Sevier's easygoing Ryan might be his best Hallmark performance, with none of the usual curmudgeon edge • A mistaken identity plot that gets resolved like grown-ups, no silly fight required • Andrea's Norwegian roots and the Scandinavian traditions she now wants to try at home • Corey's shirtless scene streak, which is now two movies running • The rushed promotion conflict and a finale that heads for the airport and ends up at the market • Standout scenes: the panic attack at the top of the tower and the real Ryan Miller showing up • Danish Christmas trivia, from Julemanden in Greenland to risalamande with the hidden almond and real candles on the tree • Eric's ten principles of hygge, which handed Andrea a few months of yoga class material • Next week's picks: Holiday Unplugged and A Season of Promises Chapters: 0:00 - Hygge or Not? Adopting St Nick Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Adopting St. Nick, starring Amy Groening and Michael Rady, is a Christmas movie that aired on Halloween. So was it a trick or a treat? Andrea gives it four out of five stars and calls it her favorite of the 2026 season so far (and she is not handing out fives this year). Eric thinks it might be the most complete traditional Hallmark movie of the year: real stakes, a Santa who may or may not be Santa, and a lead actress who has more than earned the spot. Before they get there, Eric and Andrea also weigh in on Friday's Who's Coming for Christmas? with Rhiannon Fish and Jake Foy, and whether a movie about a dinner table can carry a whole story. What You'll Hear: • Andrea's 2.5 star verdict on Who's Coming for Christmas? and the one song that would have bumped it up a full star • Why the Adopting St. Nick poster sells a completely different movie than the one that aired • How a small-town hardware store and a batch of Christmas rosettes hit close to home for Andrea • Why the adoption storyline and the line "you're special because you were chosen" landed for Eric • Eric's case that Amy Groening has solidified her place as a Hallmark lead • The two things that bugged them: an ugly sweater contest where everybody wins, and yet another near kiss • A standout pick no one saw coming (Andrea chose a building) • Movie recommendations: Project Christmas Wish, The Christmas Secret, and Long Lost Christmas • Trivia, including Amy Groening's family connection to The Simpsons, plus poll results and IMDb scores Chapters: 0:00 - Trick or Treat: A Christmas Movie on Halloween 0:24 - Who's Coming for Christmas? Rhiannon Fish & Jake Foy 3:51 - Adopting St. Nick: The Setup 4:13 - Andrea's Take: A Bad Poster and a New #1 8:36 - Eric's Take: Real Stakes and Amy Groening as a Lead 13:14 - What They Didn't Like: Participation Trophies and the Near Kiss 14:51 - Standout: A Hardware Store vs. Stephanie Sy 18:44 - The Romance: Amy Groening & Michael Rady 22:04 - If You Liked This, Watch These 23:54 - Trivia: The Simpsons Connection and a Tornado on Set 26:13 - Ratings, Polls & IMDb Scores 29:57 - Up Next: A Danish Christmas Andrea has Adopting St. Nick at the top of her list so far. Hallmark's What If Christmas | Watch It, Skip It?

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Andrea picked What If Christmas, starring Lori Loughlin and Tom Cavanagh, as her sleeper hit of the Hallmark season. It turned out to be a sleeper, just not the kind she meant. Andrea lands on a generous 3 out of 5, Eric thinks Tom Cavanagh did all the heavy lifting, and both of them came away feeling like they'd spent the evening planning a charity gala. What You'll See: • Why Andrea swapped out Double Booked for the Holidays as her sleeper pick, and now wishes she hadn't • The gowns and cinematography, which actually look like high fashion instead of a Mervyn's clearance rack • The dad math: how is Adam's father this peppy when Lori and Tom are in their sixties? • Eric's case that Lori played her big emotional moments the same way she ordered hot chocolate, and Andrea's theory on why • The no-socks suit and a fifteen second hug where a goodbye kiss should be • The "it's on me" scene Eric calls the best written moment in the movie • A rare Hallmark marriage with no kids, and how it compares to Garage Sale Mysteries • Similar picks: Family for Christmas, A Dream of Christmas, The Birthday Wish and A Kiss Before Christmas • Full House trivia about Lori's real wedding dress, plus Tom Cavanagh's malaria and avocado stories Chapters: 0:00 - Andrea's Sleeper Pick: What If Christmas 0:40 - The Recap (and That Choppy Synopsis) 1:30 - Why Andrea Dropped Double Booked, and Her 3/5 4:00 - What Worked: Cinematography, Gowns and Tom Cavanagh 6:25 - Too Much Gala Talk and Some Shaky Dad Math 8:00 - Slow, Low Stakes, and Lori's Flat Delivery 10:10 - Why Some Performances Read Flat on Screen 12:00 - No Socks, No Goodbye Kiss 14:10 - Standout: Jonathan Whittaker and the "It's On Me" Scene 17:20 - The Romance: A Long Marriage With No Kids 18:50 - If You Liked This, Watch These Instead 21:10 - Full House Trivia: Lori's Real Wedding Dress 23:20 - Tom Cavanagh, Malaria and Avocados 23:55 - IMDb Scores and Poll Results 25:50 - Next Week: Who's Coming for Christmas?, Adopting St. Nick, A Danish Christmas Andrea gave What If Christmas a generous 3 out of 5, and the early poll is all over the map. Hallmark's Forgotten Holiday Review | Watch It or Skip It

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea review Forgotten Holiday, the Hallmark Countdown to Christmas movie starring Janel Parrish and Daniel Lissing. Eric thinks it will be hard to beat as the best movie of the year. Andrea started at three stars and, by the end of the conversation, had talked herself down to two and a half. What You'll Hear: • Mystery news: Curious Caterer is coming back in 2027, and Hannah Swensen is headed to Malta with Victor Webster along for the trip • A Winter Wonderlanes follow-up, where 69% of poll voters landed on one star, plus whether a zero-star rating is ever on the table • Why Andrea loved the first twelve minutes and then couldn't get past a family asking Kathryn to re-date Rob after she ran from his proposal • Why Eric calls it well written and authentic, from the meet cute and the cookie-making scene to the Ingrid Michaelson "Winter Song" moment • The slow vs. slow burn argument, a charity invitation that looked made in Canva, and Andrea's real-life gala auction story • Standout scenes: Gabrielle Rose as Rob's mom and the Christmas Eve pancake talk with Kathryn's dad • Amnesia movie recommendations, including Falling for Vermont, Single on the 25th, and the 2013 Hallmark Hall of Fame drama Remember Sunday • Trivia on Daniel Lissing's surfing, Janel Parrish's third-place Masked Singer run, and how rare localized amnesia actually is • Audience poll results for Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story and Mr. & Mrs. Christmas, plus an early verdict on The Nights Before Christmas Chapters: 0:00 - Remember It or Forget It? 0:29 - Mystery News: Curious Caterer Returns, Hannah Swensen Goes to Malta 3:27 - Winter Wonderlanes Follow-Up: The 69% One-Star Poll 5:53 - Forgotten Holiday: Janel Parrish & Daniel Lissing 6:20 - Andrea's Take: Great Start, Then a Premise Problem 9:41 - Eric's Take: A Contender for Best Movie of the Year 15:00 - What Didn't Work: Slow vs. Slow Burn and a Canva Invitation 18:36 - Andrea's Gala Story: Who Bids $25,000? 20:56 - Standout Scenes: Gabrielle Rose and the Christmas Eve Pancakes 23:35 - The Romance: Fire Before the Accident, Rebuilt After 26:48 - Amnesia Movies to Watch Next 31:24 - Trivia: Daniel Lissing, Janel Parrish, and Localized Amnesia 33:24 - Poll Results: A Bears Love Story vs. Mr. & Mrs. Christmas 34:45 - Coming Up: What If Christmas and The Nights Before Christmas 36:03 - Slow Starts and Last Year's Ratings Eric thinks Forgotten Holiday is one of the best of the year, and Andrea is breaking up with it. Hallmark's Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story brought Hallmark's NFL franchise to Chicago, and Eric and Andrea are back on the football field to decide whether it scored. Lyndsy Fonseca and Robert Buckley won them both over, but the heavy Bears branding kept pulling them out of the story. Before kickoff, they also give a quick verdict on Mr. & Mrs. Christmas with Brendan Penny and Pascale Hutton, and it is not a generous one. What You'll Hear: • Why Mr. & Mrs. Christmas landed at two stars for Andrea, and why Pascale Hutton's storyline should have been the main one • Andrea's three star rating (up from two and a half) and the wave of oddly identical Instagram comments that followed it • The One Tree Hill connection with Robert Buckley and Barbara Alyn Woods, plus cameos from Marilu Henner and Tamera Mowry-Housley • Why Eric calls this the best of the three Holiday Touchdown movies, starting with a meet-cute over a book at a bar • Grandmother math that does not add up, and an entire city still reading print newspapers • A split decision on the Santa and a Secret Santa who cannot keep a secret • Football romance picks beyond Hallmark: Heaven Can Wait and Jerry Maguire • Trivia on Barbara Alyn Woods' acting daughters, Marsha Mason's herbal medicine business, the real 1971 Bears vs. Vikings game in the scrapbook, and the Holiday Touchdown curse • Instagram poll results for 'Tis the Season for Setups and a look at next weekend's Winter Wonderlanes, Forgotten Holiday, and What If Christmas Chapters: 0:00 - Touchdown or Fumble? Tis the Season for Setups Review | 2026 Hallmark Christmas Movie

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Countdown to Christmas 2026 is officially here, and Eric and Andrea kick off eight weeks and 34 movies with 'Tis the Season for Setups, starring Victor Webster, Amanda Schull and Barbara Niven. Andrea gives it three and a half stars, Eric calls it a strong, solid opener, and both agree this is the best Victor has been in years. The one sticking point? Whether the back half moves fast enough. What You'll Hear: • Why Andrea thinks Hallmark is missing a huge opportunity by not slipping a real mystery into Countdown to Christmas • The Hallmark+ math that has Andrea paying more for the Timberwolves than for every Hallmark movie of the year • Victor Webster as a free-spirited snowboarder, and what director Jeff Beesley told Eric about his performance • Amanda Schull's slow, believable thaw, plus Andrea's case that Hallmark is underusing her (see: One Tree Hill) • An escape room, karaoke, a real snowdrift and Barbara Niven playing a pre-Dolores Dolores • Eric's gripe about acts seven and eight, and his strong feelings about the name Ridge • The early kiss that broke a Hallmark rule, and the snowshoe scene that made Andrea miss Minnesota winters • Recommendations: Coyote Creek Christmas, Holiday Hearts and Sense, Sensibility & Snowmen • Trivia on Amanda Schull's San Francisco Ballet past and Victor's sneaky Love Blossoms callback Chapters: 0:00 - Countdown to Christmas 2026 Kicks Off 0:55 - Why Hallmark Needs a Christmas Mystery 2:10 - Hallmark+ vs. Paying $20 for the Timberwolves 5:06 - 'Tis the Season for Setups: Andrea's 3.5 Stars 8:54 - Eric's Take and the Jeff Beesley Text 10:33 - Escape Rooms, Karaoke and a Snowdrift 12:11 - What Didn't Work: Backup Plans and a Slow Act 7 16:04 - Standout Scenes: Snowshoes and an Early Kiss 18:29 - The Romance: Two Opposites-Attract Couples 20:16 - If You Liked This, Watch These 22:15 - Trivia: Ballet, One Tree Hill and Love Blossoms 24:08 - Next Week: What If Christmas & Forgotten Holiday 25:50 - Andrea's Ayurveda Hallmark Movie Quiz Did 'Tis the Season for Setups ease you into Christmas the way Andrea says it should, or did acts seven and eight lose you too? Hallmark's The Spirit Halloween Preview

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. The Spirit of Halloween takes A Christmas Carol, trades December for October, and hands Meghan Ory three ghosts and a firm grudge against Halloween. Eric and Andrea both landed on 4.5 stars for this Hallmark movie, and Eric went a step further, calling it one of the top three Hallmark movies of the year. The only real split is over which moment made it: Andrea says the ghosts, Eric says the ending. What You'll Hear: • Why a story everyone already knows still plays fresh as a Halloween movie, and how it skips the usual mid-movie lull • Meghan Ory carrying the whole film, and why Eric says this is the first time he has seen her go from good to great • Three ghosts with three completely different energies, including the "small old man from Up" line that made Andrea laugh out loud • Andrea's late realization about who played the Ghost of Halloween Future (Lachlan Quarmby) • A cheating scene Hallmark almost never puts on screen, and why Andrea thinks it worked • The gripes: a storyline that hit a little close to home for a solo parent, an end-credits song even Siri could not identify, and one snarky party line • Why Eric thinks the dance party finale is one of the best endings Hallmark has done in a while • What to watch next: A Nashville Christmas Carol, Mickey's Christmas Carol and The Ghost of Christmas Always • Trivia on Meghan Ory and Lachlan Quarmby, writer Nicole Baxter's track record, and how viewers voted on A Night to Remember Chapters: 0:00 - Trick or Treat? Previewing Countdown to Christmas with Hallmark Jenny Blog

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Hallmark's 2026 Countdown to Christmas has 34 new movies, and Jenny Forwark, Hallmark's former Chief Fan Officer, is back for her annual visit to help Eric and Andrea pick the five they are most looking forward to. Three lists, fifteen slots, and only two movies managed to land on more than one of them. Along the way, everyone also names the movies they are dreading, the pairings they can't wait to see, and one sleeper hit apiece. What You'll Hear: • Why Eric's age-gap rule knocked Eight Nights for Love out of his top five, and why Andrea isn't buying it • Jenny's case for Christmas Delivered with Autumn Reeser and Wes Brown, despite its Thanksgiving Day slot • Rachael Leigh Cook playing twins in Double Booked for the Holidays, the one movie two of the three couldn't resist • Eric's behind-the-scenes word from the sets of Noelle Nomads and Save the Date for Christmas • Amy Acker and Luke Macfarlane in My Christmas Cowboy: Eric calls it fire, Andrea is nervous about another Western • Three different number ones: The Nights Before Christmas, The Christmas Eve Feast, and A Season of Promises • The least anticipated list, from Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story to Winter Wonderlanes and The Snowflake Effect • Sleeper picks What If Christmas, An Angel in My Stocking, and Barking All the Way (and its scene-stealing dog, Twizzler) • The end-of-season banger streak, the loss of Finding Mr. Christmas, and high hopes for Mistletoe Murders season 3 Chapters: 0:00 - Jenny Forwark Returns for the Annual Preview 2:22 - First Impressions of the 34-Movie Lineup 6:57 - Eric's Age-Gap Rule (and Andrea's Eye Roll) 9:10 - #5: Christmas Delivered 11:13 - #5: A Danish Christmas and a Hygge Lesson 14:27 - #5: Noelle Nomads 16:45 - #4: Double Booked for the Holidays 18:43 - #4: Return to Santa 20:13 - #4: A Danish Christmas, Round Two 21:34 - #3: Holiday Unplugged 26:04 - #3: Who's Coming for Christmas? 28:02 - #3: Our Holiday Playbook 31:07 - #2: Double Booked Gets a Second Vote 32:28 - #2: My Christmas Cowboy 35:09 - Detour: Amy Acker in Crashing Through the Snow 37:46 - #2: Save the Date for Christmas 40:03 - #1: The Nights Before Christmas 42:02 - #1: The Christmas Eve Feast 44:43 - #1: A Season of Promises 46:08 - Jenny's Jake Foy vs. Jake Epstein Mix-Up 47:00 - All Three Top 5 Lists Recapped 48:40 - Least Anticipated: Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story 50:14 - Least Anticipated: Our Holiday Playbook 51:30 - Least Anticipated: Who's Coming for Christmas? 52:17 - Least Anticipated: Winter Wonderlanes 54:44 - Least Anticipated: The Snowflake Effect 56:29 - The Pairings Everyone Is Most Excited For 1:01:18 - Sleeper Pick: What If Christmas 1:03:50 - Sleeper Pick: An Angel in My Stocking 1:05:25 - Sleeper Pick: Barking All the Way 1:07:19 - The Final-Movie Streak and No More Unscripted Specials 1:10:57 - Mistletoe Murders Season 3 1:12:36 - Early Verdict on 'Tis the Season for Setups Which of these three lists is closest to yours? Hallmark's A Knight to Remember Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea review A Knight to Remember, Hallmark's October rom-com where museum conservator Emily (Julie Gonzalo) kisses the statue of a 1400s English knight and accidentally brings Sir Griffin (James Trevena) to life in Chicago. Andrea gives it 2 stars and found it slow going. Eric lands at 2.5, calling it corny, light Hallmark fun with two leads who were better than the script. Neither of them is calling it memorable, but they don't agree on how forgettable it is. What You'll Hear: • Why both hosts think James Trevena has the comedic timing to keep landing Hallmark leads, even if a 1400s knight wasn't the role to show it off • The Chris McNally cameo at the archery contest, opposite his real-life wife Julie Gonzalo, that Andrea completely missed • The tone problem: an ex-boyfriend FBI subplot that stalled whatever whimsy the movie managed to build • Andrea's case for more magic and more fish-out-of-water chaos than one quick joke about indoor plumbing • Whether Emily and Griffin worked as a couple, or felt more like a woman taking on a 600-year-old project • Similar watches: 2023's Made for Each Other, 1987's Mannequin and Making Mr. Right, and Life-Size with Tyra Banks and Lindsay Lohan • Trivia on two Southern Hemisphere-born leads starring in a movie set in Chicago • Instagram poll results for Garage Sale and Pumpkin Regatta • News on Private Eyes West Coast coming to Hallmark+ and a first look at next week's The Spirit of Halloween with Meghan Ory Chapters: 0:00 - Intro: A Knight to Remember 0:23 - Private Eyes West Coast Lands on Hallmark+ 1:32 - Coming Up: Christmas Movie Preview with Jenny 2:56 - The Recap: A Kiss Brings a Statue to Life 3:08 - Andrea's 2 Stars and James Trevena as Griffin 5:06 - Eric's 2.5 Stars: Leads Better Than the Script 7:04 - The Chris McNally Cameo Andrea Missed 8:10 - What Didn't Work: Too Serious, Not Enough Magic 10:52 - Standout Characters 13:29 - The Romance: Did Emily and Griffin Work? 15:21 - If You Liked This: Made for Each Other 16:02 - 1987 Throwbacks and Life-Size 17:55 - Trivia: Two Southern Hemisphere Leads 19:24 - Instagram Polls: Garage Sale and Pumpkin Regatta 20:47 - Next Week: The Spirit of Halloween Andrea wanted Griffin to be far more lost in the modern world. Hallmark's Good Witch Curse from a Rose Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea kick off mystery month with Good Witch: Curse from a Rose, the 2019 Halloween movie that turned out to be the final Good Witch film. Andrea gives it a full five stars, and Eric makes the case that the whole franchise is still the bar for Hallmark series. The only real dispute is whether Middleton's official population would survive a census. What You'll Hear: • Andrea's five-star verdict, and why a town of 3,017 people should not look that big from the air • The pumpkin regatta neither host remembered, and why Cassie feels a lot like Andrea • Why Eric thinks Good Witch set the standard, from Cassie and Sam's chemistry to Hallmark paying for two American leads • The franchise timeline from 2008 to 2021, and how Curse from a Rose became the last movie • What didn't land: no Grace, a softer Nick, and a cast too big for everyone to get a turn • Eric's complaint about the mummy marathon and bowling events that never made it on screen • Cassie and Sam's first married Halloween, plus Martha's surprisingly wise line about love • Trivia: the Middleton monster cameo, a truck that changes color mid-scene, and what Catherine Bell planned to do before acting • What to watch next: Kentucky Roses and Acorn's Queens of Mystery Chapters: 0:00 - Mystery Month Starts in Middleton 1:07 - The Recap: Cassie's College Roommate Comes to Town 1:46 - Andrea's Five-Star Verdict (and a Census Problem) 4:31 - Andrea's Inner Cassie and the Pumpkin Regatta 5:44 - Eric's Take: Why Good Witch Is the Bar 9:18 - The Last Good Witch Movie and a 13-Year Run 11:25 - What Didn't Work: No Grace and a Different Nick 13:50 - Where Was the Mummy Marathon? 14:53 - Standout Character: Cassie vs. the Whole Ensemble 16:49 - The Romance: Cassie and Sam, Tom and Martha 19:32 - What to Watch Next 20:37 - Trivia: Bessie, a Color-Changing Truck and Catherine Bell 22:26 - IMDb Rating and Coming Up Next Andrea wants Hallmark to bring Good Witch back every Halloween. Pumpkin Regatta Romance Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea review Pumpkin Regatta Romance, the Hallmark Channel fall movie starring Mishael Morgan and Corey Sevier, where two feuding dads, a pumpkin farm, and a boat shop all collide over a town race run in hollowed-out giant pumpkins. Yes, that is a real thing. Andrea gives it 4.5 stars, Eric lands a shade below, and both agree this is exactly the comfort food movie people mean when they say they miss old school Hallmark. Garage Sale Mysteries is back after six years, and Eric and Andrea review Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage, with Lori Loughlin returning as Jennifer Shannon. Andrea has been waiting for this one for a long time. Eric has spent years saying only one Garage Sale movie was any good. So did the new one change his mind, or did Andrea finally have to admit the series has its limits? What You'll Hear: • Andrea's five out of five, which she more or less decided before the opening credits • Eric's surprisingly generous verdict, plus his reenactment of Jen investigating the dark room alone • The little details superfans will catch, like the missing corner and the new diner • How the true crime book club's Lizzie Borden reenactment gave the mystery a full, workable murder board • Why Eric thinks this one finally delivered real suspects and real red herrings • Steve Bacic's behind-the-scenes take on how quickly the cast fell back into rhythm • How the movie worked around Hannah's limited screen time • Real Lizzie Borden trivia, including what the famous playground rhyme gets wrong • Hallmark and Chill picks from Murder, She Wrote, Mystery 101, Picture Perfect Mysteries, and Aurora Teagarden Chapters: 0:00 - Can Garage Sale Mysteries Finally Win Eric Over? 2:00 - That Lizzie Borden Netflix Series (Andrea Lasted 14 Minutes) 4:10 - Practical Magic 2 and a Hunter King Lookalike 5:45 - Plot Enjoyment: Andrea's Five Out of Five 10:15 - Eric's Verdict: Begrudgingly Fantastic 14:05 - The Mystery: Red Herrings That Actually Work 16:55 - Romance Roundup: Jen and Jason 18:30 - Character Corner: Dani vs. Jason 19:45 - Trivia: The Real Lizzie Borden Case 21:55 - Hallmark and Chill Recommendations 23:30 - Next Week: Pumpkin Regatta Romance Andrea gave it a five, Eric landed somewhere between a four and a four and a half. We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea sit down with Dating the Delaneys, the 2022 Hallmark movie that reunites Rachel Boston and Paul Campbell ahead of their new pairing in Return to Santa this November. Three generations of Delaney women are dating at once, and Eric and Andrea do not agree on how well any of it holds up. What You'll Hear: • The 2026 Countdown to Christmas casting news, including why Eric is bracing himself for Rachel Boston and Paul Campbell's next movie together • Andrea's rewatch verdict (a steep drop from the four stars she gave it back in 2022) versus Eric's defense of the movie, scene by scene • Why the fake dating trope between Maggie and Michael works, and how their shared grief ties the romance together • Emma's teenage dating storyline, the world's biggest slice of cake, and the software engineer date that had Eric howling • Devon's wingwoman energy, the Make It Bake It Cake It subplot, and that pecan pie fall moment • The grandma storyline and why three generations of romance actually landed for Eric • What to watch next if you liked this one, including The Way Home and the upcoming Return to Santa • A bowling scorecard continuity error, Rachel Boston's real-life chef husband, and other trivia 0:00 - Intro and the Rachel Boston/Paul Campbell Reunion 1:45 - 2026 Countdown to Christmas Casting Talk 5:15 - Behind the Scenes: Recording Three Movies and an AC Saga 7:30 - Dating the Delaneys: Synopsis and Star Ratings 9:15 - What Andrea Liked 12:30 - What Eric Liked 16:00 - What Andrea Didn't Like 18:30 - What Eric Didn't Like: The Cringe Software Engineer 20:00 - The Romance: Three Generations of Delaney Women 23:00 - Similar Watches: The Way Home and Return to Santa 24:15 - IMDb Score and Trivia 25:45 - Next Week's Review and the Sister, Sister Debate Andrea gave this one four stars back in 2022. Falling into Place Review | Watch It or Skip It

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Andrea and Eric are back with the first true fall movie of the season, Falling Into Place, starring Nathan Witte and Alvina August. Andrea gives it four stars, Eric lands at three and a half, and both agree the movie leans on just about every fall Hallmark trope there is. So does the chemistry and comfort food coziness win out over a plot with zero surprises? They break down the ratings, the standout supporting cast, and why Nathan Witte needs a real leading role of his own. What You'll Hear: • Andrea and Eric rate Falling Into Place separately (four stars vs. three and a half) and explain the gap • The full rundown on Kaia and James's fall bucket list and why their chemistry carries a familiar plot • The case for giving Nathan Witte a real leading role after years of second tier parts • Why Mr. Winters (B.J. Harrison) steals every scene he's in • A trivia detour into Nathan Witte's music project, Steel Afro • The real life news about Stephanie Bennett's husband trading Hallmark sets for the fire department • Three fall Hallmark movies Andrea and Eric recommend if Falling Into Place worked for you • Instagram poll results on how their audience rated the movie • What's coming next: Dating the Delaneys and the return of Garage Sale Mysteries Chapters: 0:00 - Fall Vibes and a Scarecrow Joke 1:40 - Fan Mail, the Playlist, and What's Coming Next 3:45 - Falling Into Place: The Setup 5:15 - Andrea's Review: Four Out of Five Stars 9:30 - Eric's Review: Three and a Half Stars 12:00 - The Case for Nathan Witte as a Leading Man 14:15 - Kaia and James: Old Friends, Real Chemistry 16:30 - Standout Senior Character: Mr. Winters 18:15 - What Didn't Work (Feels, Not Reals) 20:15 - Fall Movie Recommendations 22:00 - Trivia: Steel Afro and a Real-Life Firefighter 23:45 - Instagram Poll Results and What's Next Where do you land, Andrea's four stars or Eric's three and a half, and should Nathan Witte finally get a leading role of his own? Hallmark's A Harvest Wedding Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Andrea picked 2017's A Harvest Wedding for her favorite fall rewatch, and Eric came along to see if Victor Webster and Jill Wagner's farm set romance still holds up. Andrea gives it a full five out of five. Eric has a longer list of questions about crop rotation, barn maintenance, and a farmer somehow growing seventeen different vegetables, but both of them agree the ending is one of the more surprising Hallmark has ever pulled off. What You'll Hear: • The recap: a rising New York wedding planner gets hired to plan a wedding back in her hometown, on the farm run by her first love • Andrea's five out of five rating, and every reason the farm itself doesn't hold up as a real working farm • Eric's take on Victor Webster's effortless charm versus a harvest timeline that makes no agricultural sense • Why Jill Wagner's character comes in a little too bossy before she softens up • Marcus Rosner and Marin McMahon's turns as scene stealing side characters • The coffee cup and whipped cream moment, and the ending twist that breaks Hallmark's usual small town formula • Comparisons to Autumn Dreams, Love Fall and Order, and Hearts of Winter, another Webster and Wagner pairing • Trivia on the stock footage driving scene, the suspiciously green corn stalks, and Victor Webster's 1998 Cosmopolitan cameo 0:00 - Intro & Andrea's Pick: A Harvest Wedding 1:20 - The Recap: A Wedding Planner Comes Home 3:00 - Meet the Cast (and a Signed, Sealed, Delivered Mix-Up) 4:15 - Andrea's Rating and the Working Farm Plot Holes 8:00 - Eric's Take: Victor's Charm vs. the Five-Day Harvest 11:00 - What Didn't Work: The Magazine, the Conflict, and Bossy Bride Energy 14:00 - Standout Side Characters: Marcus Rosner and Emma 16:30 - The Romance: Whipped Cream Noses and a Surprise Ending 19:30 - Similar Movies: Autumn Dreams, Love Fall and Order, Hearts of Winter 21:00 - Trivia: Stock Footage, Green Corn, and Victor's Cosmo Moment 22:15 - Coming Up Next Week Andrea's calling this a comfort food five out of five. Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Prelude to a Wedding Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Andrea gave Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Prelude to a Wedding a full five out of five, calling it the strongest entry in the series since the premiere. Eric landed at three (nudged up to a 3.75 after some back and forth), mostly because the mystery itself doesn't give viewers enough to work with. Eric and Andrea break down the Ireland setting, the love triangle between Eamon, Griff, and Inspector O'Reilly, a Sister Sister trivia detour, and their picks for what to watch next if this one worked for you. What You'll Hear: • Andrea's five out of five case for why this is the strongest Haunted Harmony entry yet • Eric's three out of five (later revised up) and the "over the top" moments that held him back • A full breakdown of the wedding mystery, including why the killer's reveal barely gives viewers a fair shot • The love triangle between Eamon, Griff (Marco Grazzini), and Inspector O'Reilly, and which pairing they're actually rooting for • Character Corner on Sunny the bride, and why she avoided every social media influencer cliche • Hallmark trivia: the Sister Sister connection, Tamara Bree teaching herself violin for the role, and Marco Grazzini's real life partner turning up in next week's movie • Recommendations for fans who want more bridal murder mysteries, from Murder, She Wrote to Brokenwood Mysteries and McDonald & Dodds • The IMDb score and live viewer poll results • A preview of next week's reviews: A Harvest Wedding and Falling Into Place 0:00 - Intro and Catching Up with Andrea 4:40 - Mystery News and the Hallmark Plus Price Hike 6:39 - Prelude to a Wedding Synopsis and Andrea's 5/5 Review 12:01 - Eric's Review: Beret Watch and a 3/5 Verdict 18:35 - The Mystery: Solid Twist, Not Enough Clues 23:41 - The Love Triangle: Eamon, Griff, and O'Reilly 26:32 - Character Corner: Sunny the Bride 28:53 - Hallmark Trivia: Sister, Sister and On-Set Secrets 31:45 - Hallmark and Chill: What to Watch Next 35:56 - IMDb Score and the Viewer Poll Results 38:11 - Next Week: A Harvest Wedding and Falling Into Place Andrea's giving this one a five, Eric landed at three. Garage Sale Mysteries: Picture a Murder Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Andrea made Eric watch Garage Sale Mysteries: Picture a Murder (2018) before the new one hits Hallmark Plus, and it turns into one of those episodes where the two of them do not entirely agree. Andrea gives it four out of five stars. Eric enjoyed the characters just as much, but thinks the mystery itself gets left in the dust. What You'll Hear: • How Jen Shannon (Lori Loughlin) ends up investigating a decades-old camera and the cold case buried inside its film • Why Evan Roderick's tiny role, maybe four lines, still stole scenes for both hosts • The Steve Bacic hair joke that might genuinely have been an ad lib • Spotting Edward Ruttle from The Spencer Sisters and Michelle Harrison from Mystery Cruise in supporting roles • Andrea and Eric each picking a different suspect before the reveal, and only one of them getting it right • A real continuity goof involving rain, thunder, and two completely dry actors • Lori Loughlin and Steve Bacic trivia, including a Full House callback and a surprise Odyssey easter egg • Their pitch for who should take over the franchise if Garage Sale Mysteries gets more sequels • A Murder, She Wrote episode with a strangely similar photograph-driven mystery Chapters: 0:00 - Intro: Andrea's Pick for Eric's Homework 1:20 - Picture a Murder: Setup & Cast 3:00 - Andrea's Verdict: 4 Out of 5 Stars 5:15 - Using the Whole Cast: Evan Roderick's Scene-Stealing Cameo 7:45 - Eric's Take: A Mystery That Takes a Back Seat 9:45 - Spotting the Familiar Faces: Spencer Sisters, Mystery Cruise & More 12:30 - Mystery Minute: Who Did It? 15:00 - Romance Roundup & the Case for a New Garage Sale Lead 18:00 - Character Corner: Danny and Evan 20:00 - Hallmark Trivia: The Editing Goof & Lori Loughlin Fun Facts 22:15 - Steve Bacic Trivia: Detroit Sports and The Odyssey 23:45 - Hallmark & Chill: Our Murder, She Wrote Connection 24:45 - What to Watch Next & the Best Kiss in Hallmark History 26:20 - Next Week: Prelude to a Wedding in Ireland Andrea's giving this one four stars and Eric isn't fully sold on the mystery. We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea sit down with Hallmark's modern spin on Much Ado About Nothing, Much About Love, starring Ashley Williams and Niall Matter as feuding exes Beatrice and Benedict. Both hosts land on the same 3.5 out of 5 stars, but for very different reasons, and one wordless scene at a kitchen table nearly wins them over completely. Along the way, they also reveal the fall Hallmark movies they're each committing to review next, and neither one saw the other's pick coming. What You'll Hear: • Hallmark news: Brendan Morgan lands the lead in a new scrapbooking-themed Christmas movie opposite Lindura. • A look at what's airing this week, including Garage Sale Mysteries: Picture a Murder. • Andrea's fall movie shortlist, from a near-miss with Falling for Vermont to her pick for next review, 2017's A Harvest Wedding with Jill Wagner and Victor Webster. • Eric's fall movie shortlist, including a real debate over whether Dating the Delaneys even counts as a fall movie before he lands on Country at Heart with Jessy Schram and Niall Matter. • The full breakdown of Much About Love: what Ashley Williams and Niall Matter's chemistry pulls off, and where the plot's manufactured conflict loses them. • The standout scene: a wordless moment with crayons at a kitchen table that both hosts call one of the most romantic scenes of the year. • Two comfort-watch recommendations for fans of the Beatrice-and-Benedict banter, plus a spicy Murder, She Wrote episode that shares the movie's restaurant joke. • Trivia on Ashley Williams and the surprisingly rough road Niall Matter took to his first Hallmark role. Paris Is Always a Good Idea: The Series Finale Review

We would love to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions. Eric and Andrea close out Paris Is Always a Good Idea with the Hallmark+ series finale, Knightly Revisited. Lacey Chabert's Chelsea has to choose between the past and the guy waiting for her in the garden, and the two hosts don't fully agree on whether the finale earned it. Andrea is still ranking episode five higher, and Eric has a running list of gripes, from the wedding vows to why the big climax happened in Spain instead of Paris. What You'll Hear: • Andrea's take on the emotional kitchen scene between Chelsea and her dad, and why it hit harder than expected • A rundown of the finale's biggest musical moments, including Kelly Clarkson and Belinda Carlisle needle drops • Why Eric thinks the Hallmark+ subscription and its free greeting card perks are actually worth signing up for • A real disagreement over the storyline where Chelsea's mom kept her illness a secret before Chelsea left for Europe • Eric's case for why the Knightly reunion needed more tension, and why he thinks the climax belonged in Paris, not Spain • A look at the finale's oddly secretive wedding vows and the age gap behind the Annabelle twist • Eric and Andrea picking their standout scenes and ranking all three romances in the series • A quick preview of what's coming later this week: a Shakespeare-themed episode Chapters: 0:00 - Intro: Wrapping Up the Paris Is Always a Good Idea Finale 0:37 - A Library Mix-Up (Not the Most "Paris" Move) 1:24 - The Recap: What Knightly Revisited Is About 1:57 - What Andrea Loved: The Kitchen Scene, Karaoke & the Wedding Return 3:58 - Andrea's Verdict (and Why Episode 5 Still Wins) 5:02 - The Production Value: A Real Castle Wedding 5:44 - Eric's Highlights: Kelly Clarkson, Belinda Carlisle & Barbara Niven's Toast 8:36 - The Hallmark+ Perks Tangent (Free Greeting Cards) 10:59 - What Andrea Didn't Love: The Dying Mother's Secret 11:47 - The Unresolved Ending: Where Do They Even Live? 12:32 - Eric's Complaints: Zero Tension in the Reunion 13:41 - Paris vs. Spain: A Location Gripe 15:37 - The Weird "Secret" Wedding Vows 17:22 - Belinda Carlisle, Bopping, and the Annabelle Age-Gap Twist 19:40 - Standout Scenes: Chelsea's Dad and Karaoke Night 21:53 - Ranking the Three Romances 25:15 - What's Next: Much Ado About Nothing Andrea's sticking with episode five as the best of the series, and Eric's ranking Chelsea's dad and Sherrie's love story above the actual leads.
