Live in Phoenix, Arizona! - Catholic Medical Association's Annual Education Conference
SPECIAL EPISODE: Introduced by Catholic Medical Association President, Dr. David Hilgers Scott addresses a convention center full of doctors, nurses (and a whole lot of people with a lot of abbreviations after their names!) in a breakout session about the healing, miracles, and the invitation to a deeper relationship with Jesus, through Mary. While there are many themes present in the story and the miracles of Our Lady, healing remains one of, if not the most prominent. We explore how even in her first word "Juanito", she invites us (through Juan Diego) to know that we are not alone and that our sufferings are never unknown or unimportant to God. Live in Belfast, Northern Ireland!
In this week's episode, we share the exciting experiences of our first few days on our first ever podcast & mission in Northern Ireland! It was amazing to find that there were so many in Northern Ireland who found out that we were in Belfast and came to watch us record and also learn more about Our Lady of Guadalupe first-hand! We prayed with so many people afterward - it was a real gift! (Shout out to Anthony and his crew!) So a little about the setting - Having unknowingly visited Belfast on the very first year that they have hosted the world's largest Irish music festival - the Fleadh Cheoil - we arrive in the second largest city on the Island of Ireland on the same weekend that another 1.6 million visitors also happen to be...stopping by! With the streets, squares, pubs, and restaurants filled with music (and 250,000+ music fans) on a Friday afternoon, we found ourselves invited to the Grotto of Lourdes beside Belfast's oldest Catholic Church - St. Mary's. We chat about the amazing places we've seen, people we've met and music we've heard during the journey as we share Our Lady of Guadalupe for the first time in Northern Ireland. A HUGE thank you to Fr. Timothy Bartlett for the invitation and the opportunity! We hope to see you again soon! We hope you enjoy!

Episode 2 - Historical Context

In this episode they discuss why Our Lady appeared where and when she did - December 1531 in the heart of the Aztec Empire. Themes such as human sacrifice and the pagan roots of pre-Columbian Tenochtitlan are explained in some detail so that we can better understand the need for Mary's appearance, message and invitation. Concluding with the person of Juan Diego and the inspiration we can draw from Mary's choice of a humble, 57 year old widower to help bring about the conversion of the Americas.
