Watching the Man I Love Need My Help!!!

Thanks so much and let’s keep this conversation going This episode of From Creepin 2 Preachin brings tears to my eyes. Watching the Strong Man I love Need My Help is about the emotional reality of caregiving, marriage, love, changing mobility, and honoring the vows "for better or for worse." I am watching a man who has always been strong, independent, knowledgeable, smart, and wise adjust to needing my help. A man who once handled his responsibilities and daily needs on his own now uses a walk, sometimes needs me to help him walk, and no longer drives. Sometimes I see him searching for something to hold onto because he wants to do it himself. But when I see him struggling I step in. What breaks my heart is seeing the disappointment he sometimes feels in himself. I can only imagine what it feels like to for a strong, independent man to suddenly need assistance with things he once did without a second thought. But when I look at him, I still see the strong man I married. His mobility may have changed, but my love for him has not. When I said, "for better or for worse" I meant it--and today I am living those marriage vows one day at a at a time. To my fellow caregivers, wives, husbands, and families supporting someone they love. Have you ever watched a strong independent person you love begin to need your help? Are you living through this journey right now? I want to hear your story. Share your experience in the comments so we can remind one another that caregivers need a community too. Learning To Focus On Me!!!

Thanks so much and let’s keep this conversation going Learning to focus on me has been one of the hardest parts of my journey. I am naturally a caring and loving person, and my love language is giving. I'm so used to caring for my husband, making sure he has what he needs, and putting others first that when it's time to focus on myself, I feel guilty. Sometimes I sit in that spa chair or get a facial and wonder, Do I really deserve this? Should I be somewhere taking care of someone else? Am I worthy of this moment? But I'm slowly learning that self-care is not selfish--it's therapeutic. Taking time for myself helps restore my mind, body, and spirit. I'm learning that I can love my husband deeply, care for the people around me, and still make room for Renee. I deserve moments to rest. I deserve to breathe. I deserve to be cared for, too. And most importantly, I'm learning that taking care of myself helps me continue showing up for the people I love without completely losing myself. Have you ever felt guilty for focusing on yourself? Have you ever struggled to spend money or time on a massage, facial, vacation quiet moment, or something just for YOU? What happened when you finally gave yourself permission to practice self-care? Tell me your story. Subscribe and join me for a new episode every Friday at 9:00 Am as we continue talking about caregiving, self-care, healing, faith, love, and learning how to choose ourselves, too. #FromCreepin2Preachin #CaregiverSelfCare #CaregiverSupport #SelfCareJourney #CaregiverLife #FocusOnYou # SelfCareIsNotSelfish #WomenHealing #EmotionalWellness #MentalWellness #HealingJourney #FaithAndHealing #CaregiverMatter #SelfLove #CaregiverPodcast #Cancer #CancerSupport #ProstateCancer Support the show www.creepin2preachin.com buzzsprout.com Apple Podcast iHeart Social Media: Facebook: Renee R White/Creepin2Preachin Instagram: movinginmotion Youtube

Where Was Everybody? When Cancer Returned, Our Tribe Showed Up!!!

Thanks so much and let’s keep this conversation going When my husband's cancer returned, we expected our family to stand with us. Instead, many never called, never texted, never visited and some even believed we were lying about his cancer diagnosis. The heartbreak was real--but so was God's faithfulness. God surrounded us with an incredible tribe of people who weren't related by blood, didn't grow up with us, and didn't know our story. Yet they showed up during hospital visits, encouraged us through cancer treatments, prayed with us during scan, and stood beside us at doctor's appointments. They became the family God knew we needed. This episode is powerful reminder that family isn't always defined by blood---sometimes it's defined by love, loyalty, faith, and showing up when it matters most. Have you found your tribe? Who has stood by you during life's hardest moments? I'd love to hear your story in the comments. New episodes drop every Friday at 9:00AM. When Family Didn't Believe Our Journey!!!

Thanks so much and let’s keep this conversation going What happens when the people you expect to stand by your side don't believe your pain? In this heartfelt episode, I share the heartbreaking reality our family's prostate cancer journey after we learned my husband's cancer had returned. Instead of receiving love, support, and encouragement. some of our own family members believed we were lying about his diagnosis. Their disbelief, silence, and absence deeply wounded us during one of the hardest seasons of our lives. But even in the middle of rejection, God never left us. He reminded us that His presence, His peace, and His faithfulness are greater than the opinions of others. When people walked away. God stayed. Have you ever experienced family or friends doubting your struggle during a difficult season? How did you heal? How did you move forward? I'd love to hear your story in the comments because your testimony could encourage some else. I Cut It All Off!!!

Thanks so much and let’s keep this conversation going For two years, my braids became more than a hairstyle--they became a way to hide the pain I carried as a caregiver. But when we heard the heartbreaking words for the third time, "Cancer is back," I made a bold decision, I cut it all off. This wasn't just about hair. It was a declaration of faith, strength, and unwavering solidarity with my husband as we continue this cancer journey together. I refuse to give up. I refuse to let fear win. And I refuse to stop believing that God is still working, even in the hardest seasons. Have you or someone you love faced cancer, chronic illness, or another life-changing diagnosis? How did you find the strength to keep fighting? What helped you hold on to hope? Share your story in the comments--your testimony may encourage someone else. New Hair, Same Hidden Pain!!!

Thanks so much and let’s keep this conversation going Everyone noticed my new look. I decided to change my hairstyle and got beautiful blonde braids. The compliments poured in: "You look amazing!" "Your hair is beautiful!" On the outside, I looked refreshed and confident. But inside...nothing had changed. Behind every braid was the same hidden pain-the emotional weight of being a caregiver, watching my husband battle illness, managing treatments, doctor appointments, medications, and carrying the silent burden that so many caregivers know all too well. Sometimes we change our appearance, hoping no one will see the hurt we're carrying inside. Have you ever smiled on the outside while silently hurting on the inside? Have you ever changed your look to hide what you were really feeling? I'd love to hear your story. Care Giver Crisis: When I Forgot About Me!!!

Thanks so much and let’s keep this conversation going As caregivers, we become so focused on doctor appointments, medications, treatments, and the health of the people we love that we often forget about our own health. I missed my annual physical, my mammogram, my wellness exams, my eye appointments, and even routine checkups because I was pouring everything I had into someone else. But here's the question we rarely hear: What about us, the caregivers? Who reminds us to schedule our appointments? Who checks on our mental health, our physical health, and our emotional well-being? In this heartfelt episode, I share my personal journey as a caregiver and why putting ourselves last can come with serious consequences. This conversation is for every caregiver who has ever felt invisible while caring for someone they love. Have you ever put your own health on hold while caring for someone else? If so what happened? How did you find your way back to taking care of yourself? Share your story in the comments--I would love to hear from you and build a community where caregivers support one another. Care Giver Burn Out is Real: Who Takes Care of The Care Give?

Thanks so much and let’s keep this conversation going As caregivers, we spend so much time making sure our loved ones get to their doctor's appointments, treatments, scans, and follow-up visits that we often forget about ourselves. We miss our annual physicals, mammograms, eye exams, dental appointments, and wellness checkups because we're focused on everyone else's health. But what about us? Everyone asks, "How is the patient doing?" Yet very few people stop and ask, "How are YOU doing?" Caregiver burnout is real. The stress, exhaustion, and emotions weight can cause us to neglect our own health until our bodies force us to slow down. Sometimes we need a reset. Sometimes we need to make ourselves a priority again. In this powerful episode, we're having an honest conversation about caregiver self-care caregiver health, and why taking care of yourself is not selfish--it's necessary. Caregivers, I'm talking directly to YOU. Have you ever postponed your own appointments while caring for someone else? How did you overcome it? When Faith Meets Fear in 2018!!!

Thanks so much and let’s keep this conversation going In 2018 our world changed forever when my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I remember feeling like my life stood completely still. Fear tied to enter my heart, but I knew I had to lean on God, pray harder than ever before, and trust Him through the uncertainty. Cancer battles are not just physical --they are emotionally, spiritual, and mental journeys that test your faith every single day. Through prayer, strength, and love, we continue to fight this battle together. Have you or someone you love ever received difficult news about cancer or another life-changing diagnosis? How did you find the strength to keep going? #ProstateCancerAwareness#FaithOverFear#CancerJourney#CancergiverSupport#HealingThroughFaith#FromCreepin2Preachin#ChristianPodcast#HopeAndHealing#CancerSupport#PrayerChangesThings Support the show www.creepin2preachin.com buzzsprout.com Apple Podcast iHeart Social Media: Facebook: Renee R White/Creepin2Preachin Instagram: movinginmotion Youtube
