Каждое лето я туда езжу. Там лес, речка, сад. Мы гуляем, делаем шашлык, слушаем музыку. Это тихое и красивое место. Там хорошо отдыхать. I like to relax at the dacha. Every summer I go there. There’s a forest, a river, a garden. We walk, make barbecue, listen to music. It’s a quiet and beautiful place. It’s nice to rest there. 🔵 Монолог 2 Я люблю путешествовать по России. Я был в Петербурге, Казани, Сочи. В Петербурге я был в Эрмитаже, гулял по Невскому проспекту. В Сочи — на море. В Казани я смотрел Кремль. I love to travel around Russia. I’ve been to St. Petersburg, Kazan, Sochi. In St. Petersburg I visited the Hermitage and walked on Nevsky Prospect. In Sochi — the sea. In Kazan I saw the Kremlin. 🔵 Монолог 3 Летом я отдыхаю на море. Мне нравится тёплая вода и солнце. Я плаваю, загораю, хожу в кафе. Это приятный отдых. Я езжу туда с друзьями или с семьёй. In summer I relax at the sea. I like the warm water and the sun. I swim, sunbathe, go to cafés. It’s a pleasant vacation. I go there with friends or family. 🔵 Монолог 4 Я мечтаю поехать на Байкал. Это большое озеро в Сибири. Вода там чистая и холодная. Там красивый лес и горы. Я хочу увидеть Байкал зимой и летом. I dream of going to Lake Baikal. It’s a large lake in Siberia. The water is clean and cold. There are beautiful forests and mountains. I want to see Baikal in winter and summer. 🔵 Монолог 5 Я живу в Москве, и в выходные я гуляю в парке. Я люблю парк Горького. Там можно кататься на велосипеде, пить кофе и слушать музыку. Это моё любимое место в городе. I live in Moscow, and on weekends I walk in the park. I like Gorky Park. I read every day — in the morning, in the evening and on weekends. I like Russian literature. My favorite writer is Leo Tolstoy. Now I am reading Anna Karenina. 🔵 Монолог 2 Я люблю смотреть фильмы. Я часто хожу в кино. Мне нравятся комедии и драмы. Иногда я смотрю фильмы дома. Мой любимый фильм — «Ирония судьбы». Я учу новые слова из диалогов. I like watching movies. I often go to the cinema. I like comedies and dramas. Sometimes I watch movies at home. My favorite film is The Irony of Fate. I learn new words from the dialogues. 🔵 Монолог 3 Я люблю музыку. Я слушаю музыку каждый день — дома, в метро, в автобусе. Я слушаю русскую классическую музыку: Чайковский, Шостакович, Рахманинов. Иногда я хожу на концерты. I love music. I listen to music every day — at home, in the metro, on the bus. I listen to Russian classical music: Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Rachmaninoff. Sometimes I go to concerts. 🔵 Монолог 4 Я занимаюсь спортом. Летом я катаюсь на велосипеде, зимой — на лыжах. Я люблю плавать и ходить пешком. Спорт — это здоровье, энергия и хороший отдых. I do sports. In summer I ride a bicycle, in winter I ski. I like swimming and walking. Sports mean health, energy, and good rest. 🔵 Монолог 5 Мне нравится театр. В Москве много театров. Я часто хожу в Большой театр. Я смотрел балет «Лебединое озеро». Это было очень красиво. Я люблю русский балет и оперу. I like theatre. There are many theatres in Moscow. When I started learning Russian, I read a story by Chekhov. I learned how people lived in Russia in the 19th century. I think literature helps to understand the country. 🔵 Монолог 2 Мы с группой ездили на экскурсию в Петербург. Мы слушали гида, смотрели дворцы и музеи. Я понял, что знать язык — значит понимать культуру и историю. My group and I went on an excursion to St. Petersburg. We listened to the guide, saw palaces and museums. I realized that knowing the language means understanding culture and history. 🔵 Монолог 3 Я смотрю русские фильмы. Там я вижу, как люди говорят, как живут, что едят. Я слышу настоящую речь и понимаю традиции. Фильмы помогают изучать и язык и культуру. I watch Russian films. I see how people talk, how they live, what they eat. I hear real speech and understand traditions. Films help to learn the language and culture together. 🔵 Монолог 4 Я читаю книги на русском языке. В книгах много интересного о жизни в России, о праздниках, о семье. Я читаю и думаю: «Это другая культура, и она очень интересная». I read books in Russian. The books have a lot of interesting things about life in Russia, about holidays, about family. I read and think: “This is a different culture, and it’s very interesting.” 🔵 Монолог 5 Когда я учу русский язык, я учу не только слова. Я учу, как думают русские люди. Я вижу, что язык и культура всегда вместе. Без языка нельзя понять культуру. When I learn Russian, I learn not only words. I learn how Russian people think. У него сложная грамматика. Я путаю падежи и глаголы. Иногда я забываю слова. Но мне нравится русский язык, и я не сдаюсь. Я хочу понимать людей и говорить свободно. Russian is a difficult language. Its grammar is complex. I mix up cases and verbs. Sometimes I forget words. But I like Russian and I don’t give up. I want to understand people and speak fluently. 🔵 Монолог 2 Когда я начал учить русский, я не понимал ничего. Было трудно слушать и говорить. Но я хотел поехать в Россию. Я мечтал говорить с людьми. Это была моя мотивация. Сейчас я говорю лучше. When I started learning Russian, I didn’t understand anything. It was hard to listen and speak. But I wanted to go to Russia. I dreamed of talking to people. That was my motivation. Now I speak better. 🔵 Монолог 3 Мне трудно говорить быстро. Я думаю на своём языке, а потом перевожу. Это медленно. Но я читаю, слушаю радио и смотрю фильмы. Я понимаю больше и больше. Это меня радует. It’s hard for me to speak quickly. I think in my own language and then translate. That’s slow. But I read, listen to radio, and watch films. I understand more and more. It gives me joy. 🔵 Монолог 4 Я изучаю русский язык для работы. Это полезно. Я говорю с партнёрами, пишу письма, читаю документы. Мне часто трудно с формальным стилем, но я учусь. Я думаю, что язык — это инвестиция. I study Russian for work. It’s useful. I speak with partners, write letters, read documents. Formal style is often hard for me, but I learn. I think language is an investment. 🔵 Монолог 5 Моя главная трудность — произношение. Я не всегда слышу разницу между звуками. Но я слушаю носителей и повторяю. Я хочу говорить красиво. Я верю, что если работать, всё получится. My main difficulty is pronunciation. Он участвовал в международной программе и выиграл грант. Теперь он учится бесплатно. Это отличная возможность! My friend studies on a grant. He took part in an international program and won a grant. Now he studies for free and receives money for housing. It’s a great opportunity! 🔵 Монолог 3 Я хочу получить стипендию. Для этого нужно хорошо учиться, не пропускать занятия и сдавать экзамены. В следующем семестре я постараюсь! I want to get a scholarship. To do this, I need to study well, not miss classes, and pass exams. Социальную получают студенты, у которых есть финансовые трудности. At the university, there are academic and social scholarships. The academic one is for good grades. The social one is for students who have financial difficulties. 🔵 Монолог 5 Моя сестра учится в магистратуре и получает стипендию. Она участвует в проекте и пишет научную работу. Университет платит ей стипендию, потому что у неё хорошие результаты. My sister is studying for her Master’s and receives a scholarship. She participates in a project and writes research. At university there are three levels: Bachelor’s, Master’s, and postgraduate. Bachelor’s takes four years, Master’s — two years, and postgraduate — three to four years. After postgraduate studies, you can work in science. 🔵 Монолог 5 Мой брат хочет получить магистерский диплом. Он уже закончил бакалавриат. Сейчас он работает и готовит документы.
