The STARTLING #1 Cause of Heart Attacks

The #1 cause of heart disease is not what you think! Find out about the biggest cause of heart disease and what you can do to turn things around. In this video, I’ll share some key tips to help reduce your risk of heart problems. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: What causes heart disease? 0:31 Insulin resistance and heart disease 1:04 Signs of insulin resistance 1:45 What causes insulin resistance? 3:57 The root cause of heart disease 4:13 How to lower your risk of cardiovascular disease Visceral fat around the heart covers your arteries and heart muscle. Inflammation from this fat goes directly into the heart before any other place in the body! Insulin is a major contributor to visceral fat accumulation around the heart. When insulin is high, your body stores fat, and you gain weight. When it’s low, you lose weight, especially visceral fat surrounding the heart. When you have insulin resistance, your insulin receptors no longer accept insulin. If you have insulin resistance, you may notice the following symptoms: •Waist circumference greater than 40 inches in men and 35 inches in women •Skin tags or darkened armpits or groin area •High triglycerides or low HDL •Difficulty losing weight •Difficulty going for long periods without a meal Insulin resistance can be caused by high-carb, high-sugar diets, stress, and chronic sleep problems. Seed oil consumption is one of the greatest contributors to insulin resistance. Industrial seed oils are highly processed with high heat and chemicals like hexane. Seed oils remain in your cells for over a year, which can damage the insulin receptor on the surface of the cells. The average person gets 25 to 30 percent of their calories from seed oils! Keto can help reverse insulin resistance, but you must do Healthy Keto® with higher-quality ingredients. Use healthy fats such as butter, tallow, and coconut oil, rather than seed oils. The biggest cause of heart disease is epicardial fat (fat deposits around the heart), which is caused by consuming sugar, starch, and seed oils—the main components of ultra-processed foods. To eliminate epicardial fat and reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease, there are a few things that you can do: •Eliminate seed oils and replace them with healthy oils •Follow a Healthy Keto diet •Do intermittent fasting and have two meals per day, without snacks •Cold therapy •Consume apple cider vinegar in a glass of water a few times per day •Consume berberine Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 60, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Let’s talk about how to stop period pain or menstrual cramps. With period cramps, you experience cramping in the lower part of the body. It’s the uterus itself that’s cramping or contracting, which can cause a painful period. A great way to get instant relief from menstrual cramps is to try stretching. To do this stretch, you need to lay on your stomach and push your hands into the ground straightening your arms and stretching your back. However, to get to the root cause of the issue and get rid of menstrual cramps, we need to lower a chemical in the body called prostaglandins. People will typically use ibuprofen to lower prostaglandins. But ibuprofen has side effects. Thankfully, there are natural alternatives you can try to help lower prostaglandins. The best natural remedies for menstrual cramps: 1. Cinnamon 2. Vitamin D3, calcium, and magnesium 3. Does Your Supplement Contain Maltodextrin? Detect It with This Simple Test!

FREE PDF: The Worst Ingredient Hiding In Your Foods 👉 https://drbrg.co/3UcFAVD Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. Maltodextrin could be in the supplements you take. Use this simple test to find out—all you need is iodine. DATA: https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/agricultural-and-biological-sciences/maltodextrin#:~:text=Maltodextrin%20has%20a%20high%20glycemic,advice%20of%20a%20healthcare%20practitioner. https://youtu.be/XnF9OczedMw https://youtu.be/5YMDOX71TeI https://youtu.be/59FatWCti94 0:00 Introduction: Hidden sugar in supplements 0:25 How to find hidden sugar 4:14 Maltodextrin explained 8:04 Learn more about maltodextrin! Did you know some health supplements contain hidden sugar, like maltodextrin? Today, I will share a simple test to find hidden sugar in your food and health supplements. Iodine mixed with water is a golden color. If you combine iodine with starch, it turns blue. When you add iodine to bread, for example, it turns blue. Or, if you put maltodextrin in water and add a few drops of iodine, the water will turn blue. My brand of electrolyte powder doesn’t have any sugar or maltodextrin in it. However, when we look at a competitor’s electrolyte powder that also claims it doesn’t have sugar or maltodextrin, it turns blue when iodine is added. Maltodextrin behaves like sugar, spiking insulin, but can be classified on a label as a carb and not a sugar. On the glycemic index, table sugar is at 65, and glucose is at 100—maltodextrin is between 105 and 185. Maltodextrin is the most common starch added to supplements and other products. If there is less than one gram of maltodextrin in a product per serving size, the company doesn’t even have to state it. Maltodextrin can also be found in flavorings, energy gels, sports powders, and even baby formulas. It’s important to be aware that some so-called keto-friendly products can also contain maltodextrin. The BEST BLACKHEAD & Acne Cure in the World (One-Time Fix)

Manual whitehead and blackhead removal comes with a package. If you want to get rid of acne and remove blackheads permanently without scarring your skin, this is for you! Clear pores instantly and get rid of blackheads fast by addressing the root cause of your skin concerns. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Chapters: 0:00 Introduction: How to remove blackheads and get rid of acne 0:44 Whiteheads vs. blackheads 1:30 Acne causes 4:15 Ultra-processed foods and acne 4:55 How to get rid of acne with a healthy diet 5:40 The one-time acne fix Today, I’m going to tell you how to get rid of acne permanently! Acne creams and medications treat the symptoms but don’t address the root cause of the issue. Topical acne creams can address the issue temporarily. Products containing annatto extract, a special form of vitamin E, can control oil production, but the real problem is not excess oil production! Acne and blackheads are not caused by increased oil production. The real problem is the production of thicker, stickier oil. The following factors cause this thicker sebum production: 1. Hormones (androgens) 2. Too much insulin 3. Zinc deficiency 4. Vitamin A deficiency 5. Seed oil consumption Your sebum is mainly composed of unsaturated fat. When you consume seed oils, they eventually reemerge in your skin’s oil! Seed oils can also build up in the liver, inhibiting bile production, which interferes with the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, including vitamin A. Ultra-processed foods are a major contributor to acne. They contain refined sugars and refined starches, which deplete your zinc. They destroy the liver, which inhibits your ability to use vitamin A. Sugar, starches, and seed oils also contribute to insulin resistance. For the best one-time acne fix that addresses the problem permanently, you must follow a diet that keeps androgens and insulin low, while offering plenty of zinc and vitamin A. Follow a low-carb diet, avoiding sugar and starch. It is vital to eliminate seed oils and reduce your consumption of other foods high in omega-6 fatty acids. This includes grain-fed meat, such as grain-fed chicken, and their eggs. For healthy skin, free of acne, consume grass-fed meats and wild-caught fish. Increase shellfish, which is high in zinc, and foods such as grass-fed butter, grass-fed beef liver, and cod liver oil for vitamin A. The Muscle-Building Supplements That TRULY Perform

What’s the fastest way to gain muscle? Exercise is the most potent stimulus for muscle-building, but these 3 supplements can significantly enhance the effects. Add these 3 muscle-building supplements to your regimen to build muscle fast! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: The best supplements for muscle growth 0:28 Amino acids for muscle growth 0:53 Barriers to muscle growth 1:20 Overtraining 2:20 Creatine for muscle growth 3:26 The best foods for muscle-building 4:29 Genetic barriers to muscle-building Today, we’re going to talk about the best supplements to build muscle fast! Don’t bother taking single amino acids for muscle growth! Double-blinded studies have shown this isn't an effective way to build muscle or increase muscle growth. Amino acids can also turn into sugar, which can increase your blood sugar. Avoid tribulus and fenugreek if you are building muscle. These compounds can increase testosterone, but not enough to build muscle. As we age, testosterone decreases and cortisol increases. This combination can hinder muscle building. Overtraining can also significantly increase cortisol and shut down testosterone. Cholesterol is vital for essential hormones like testosterone, so avoid low-cholesterol and low-fat diets if you want to build muscle. Insulin resistance can hinder muscle growth. Insulin resistance is often caused by frequent eating and high-carbohydrate diets. Sleep is vital for muscle building because most muscle growth occurs while sleeping! Magnesium glycinate can help you sleep and also helps make energy to feed your muscles. Try these top 3 muscle-building supplements to boost muscle growth and increase muscle size. 1. Creatine monohydrate Creatine is found naturally in red meat. It increases ATP, performance, energy during workouts, and hydration, and directly increases muscle stimulus. 2. Whey protein Whey protein powder provides leucine, which stimulates muscle growth. It also contains the other amino acids vital for muscle building. 3. Zinc Zinc helps increase testosterone, and even a mild zinc deficiency can decrease testosterone production. Testosterone is vital for building muscle size and strength. If you want to build muscle, consume grass-fed red meat. It contains creatine, amino acids, zinc, vitamin B12, and carnosine. It also contains healthy fat and cholesterol to help boost testosterone. Eggs and fish also support muscle-building. Disclaimer: Dr. Eric Berg received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988. Today, I’m going to share step-by-step instructions for an amazing technique that's one of the best sore throat remedies I've found. To perform this technique, find the area of dysfunction and work on the opposite side. This remedy seems to work by affecting the fascia in the back of the neck to create space in the front. This also allows you to control the pitch and volume of speaking and singing more easily. Here’s how to relieve a sore throat step-by-step: 1. Locate where the problem is 2. Draw a circle to the same spot on the opposite side of the neck 3. Press with 2 fingers on the spot while holding the head 4. Hold for 1 to 2 minutes Find the most tender spot! Assess if the tenderness moved up or down after implementing the technique. If so, try again on the most tender area. This sore throat remedy helps improve circulation and space in the area. 7 Stupid Health Mistakes

Don’t sabotage your health by taking the wrong advice! Avoid making these 7 stupid health mistakes. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. 0:00 Introduction: Common health mistakes to avoid 0:05 #1 Accepting bad health tips and the worst diet advice 1:13 #2 Consuming protein powder 1:48 #3 Treating symptoms alone 2:30 #4 Reducing sodium 3:04 #5 Consuming unsaturated fats 3:38 #6 Avoiding red meat 4:25 #7 Reading nutrition labels 1. Accepting the wrong health advice as fact Just because someone is a doctor doesn’t mean you should trust them blindly. 2. Depending on protein powder for protein Protein powder is incomplete compared to animal protein. It doesn’t offer the vitamins and minerals needed to stay healthy. 3. Treating symptoms and ignoring the cause This is the main problem with the medical system. Healthcare practitioners prescribe medication to fix a problem instead of addressing the root cause. This is especially problematic when treating chronic disease because if you get off of the medication, the problem does not go away. 4. Focusing on salt reduction to reduce high blood pressure Instead of focusing on salt reduction, which will cause weakness and other problems, focus on increasing potassium. Potassium keeps your arteries healthy and flexible. 5. Choosing unsaturated fats over saturated fats Unsaturated fats like seed oils are highly refined and are in almost every ultra-processed food. Avoid them! 6. Avoiding red meat Humans have been eating red meat throughout history. It’s rich in vitamins and minerals and should be included in a healthy diet. 7. Only reading nutrition labels Nutrition facts can be confusing and misleading. You have to read the ingredients! Look for sugar, hidden sugars, seed oils, and starches. Starches are worse on your blood sugar than actual sugar. Many products that contain starches have 0 sugars listed in the nutrition facts. The #1 Way to CLEANSE Your Colon Fast

How does your food turn into poop? In this video, I’ll explain the ins and outs of the digestive process to help you better understand the function of your digestive system. If you’re struggling with digestion and gut health, this video is for you. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Food digestion explained 0:18 Stomach acid and the digestive system 0:52 Betaine hydrochloride and apple cider vinegar 1:42 The small intestine and the digestive process 3:50 The large intestine 4:25 Poop formation and the process of digestion 4:55 How to improve digestion Benefits of TUDCA: ▶️ • The Benefits of TUDCA How to Fix Your Gut: ▶️ • Fix Your Gut with ONE Microbe Digestion starts in the mouth, where food is broken down and then transferred to the stomach. The highly acidic stomach acid aids in protein digestion. The valve at the top of the stomach plays a vital role in keeping food in the stomach and preventing it from backing up into the esophagus. Many people think antacids are the solution to acid reflux or heartburn. Diluting stomach acid worsens this problem by inhibiting this valve from closing tightly. If you have acid reflux, you want to increase the acidity of your stomach. Diluted apple cider vinegar and betaine hydrochloride are effective remedies for this problem. Ninety percent of all digestion occurs in the small intestine. This is also the location of a leaky gut. Grains, gluten, junk food, refined sugar, and seed oils can cause a leaky gut. The liver makes bile, which is stored and concentrated in the gallbladder. Bile helps break down fats, extract nutrients from fats, and kill pathogens. Bile deficiency symptoms include bloating, burping, vision problems, and gallstones. Bile salts such as TUDCA can help digestion by breaking down cholesterol. Microbes break down food in the large intestine through fermentation. These microbes comprise 80% of your immune system and help make neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine. After your food travels through this intricate assembly line, it becomes stool. Your stool is mostly water and gets its pigment from your red blood cells. The smell is caused by gas from bacteria. Constipation and diarrhea are usually related to missing microbes. Antibiotics and chemicals like glyphosate can deplete microbes. Fermented foods and the L. reuteri microbe are great ways to increase microbes and improve digestion naturally. Intermittent fasting can also significantly improve digestion. Today, I'm going to share how you can do this technique right at home. If you have sinus congestion or your sinuses aren't draining, you can use this technique to help open your sinuses and breathe better. Common causes of sinus problems are infections, a fungus growing in your sinuses, or a cheese allergy. If you have a sinus issue, you should avoid cheese and sugar to see if that clears the problem up. Two of the best natural remedies for sinus congestion and other sinus issues are diluted kimchi juice and Spanish black radish. Before you use this acupressure technique, check your sinuses by plugging one nostril with your finger and breathing in, and then repeat with the other nostril. Rate how bad your sinuses are, and then give this acupressure technique a try. After you're done, check and rate your sinuses again—I think you'll notice a huge difference. Watch this video for a full demonstration of how to use acupressure to help open your sinuses. Is Seed Oil Worse than Sugar? - Seed Oil or Sugar

Common seed oils are: • Soy oil • Corn oil • Canola oil • Cottonseed oil • Safflower oil • Sunflower oil On average, we’re consuming way too many foods high in omega-6 fats. Ideally, a person should consume a 1:1 ratio of omega-3 fatty acids to omega-6 fatty acids. However, the average ratio is 15:1. This imbalance can lead to all kinds of health problems, especially in the cell membranes. Refined sugar also leads to health issues and is converted to fat, but the extra sugar doesn’t accumulate in the body like omega-6 fatty acids do. Omega-6 fatty acids (seed oils) lodge into your cells and accumulate in your tissues for 600 days. They are not water-soluble like sugar is and can't be burned off like sugar can. Both refined oils and refined sugar can deplete important nutrients. While certain whole foods, like fruit, have sugar, they also have nutrients and phytonutrients to help replenish what was lost and provide protection. But seed oils are a highly refined, over-processed part of a seed that doesn’t have any protective factors. To make seed oils they also use a solvent called hexane to extract the oil from the seed—is it possible some of this solvent could end up in the oil? Overall, while sugar isn't good for you, omega-6 fatty acids are worse for your health than sugar is. How Big Pharma Thrives on Keeping You Unwell

Would you believe me if I told you that we could end chronic disease in 10 weeks? Watch this fascinating interview with best-selling author Nina Teicholz, Ph.D., who has been researching the dietary guidelines for over 2 decades. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) SUBSCRIBE TO NINA'S SUBSTACK HERE: https://unsettledscience.substack.com... 0:00 Welcome, Nina Teicholz! 0:39 The solution to chronic disease 3:40 The ketogenic diet in modern medicine 6:14 Ketosis explained 7:40 The dietary guidelines 9:22 Chemicals and food additives 10:23 Sugar vs. starch 11:22 The best way to reverse chronic disease 12:45 Preventative tests Please join me in welcoming Nina Teicholz! Nina explains that a low-carb ketogenic diet is the best way to support disease reversal. There are over 100 clinical trials supporting that type 2 diabetes can be reversed in as little as 10 weeks. Hypertension, cardiovascular risk factors, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and other chronic diseases can potentially also be reversed with dietary changes. The reversal rate of type 2 diabetes with the standard of care from doctors is 0.1%. In clinical trials with patients following a keto diet, the reversal rate is more than 50%! Insulin manufacturers and other drug companies primarily fund the American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association, so they are subject to direct conflicts of interest. Doctors have been taught to recommend low-fat diets, and there are countless baseless claims that keto is dangerous. Dietary guidelines significantly influence most Americans. By law, all federal food programs are required to follow these guidelines. Health professionals also use them as the gold standard in nutrition. However, many conflicts of interest are involved in these guidelines, including ties to both Big Food and Big Pharma. Giving accurate dietary guidelines to the American public is the best way to combat chronic disease. To get into a healthy state of ketosis, you should eat eggs, dairy, meat, shellfish, vegetables, and low-sugar fruits. Carbohydrates trigger hunger. Without glucose, your body can access your fat stores for energy between meals. Disclaimer: Dr. Eric Berg received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988. 1 in 4 People Have This!!

Many people have liver toxicity and don't even know it! Discover the number 1 toxic liver remedy and the toxic liver symptoms to look out for. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. 0:00 Introduction: Toxic liver remedies 0:15 The first signs of liver problems 1:37 NAC explained 2:08 Antioxidants and free radical damage 4:05 How to make NAC more potent In this video, we’re going to talk about the best remedy to support your liver health. It takes many years of damage before you’ll notice toxic liver symptoms. Some of the most common toxic liver symptoms include the following: • Yellow eyes • Yellow skin • Nausea • Vomiting • Red dots on the skin • Fatigue One of the best toxic liver remedies is NAC (N-acetyl cysteine). This remedy helps counter the effects of alcohol, smoking, drugs like ibuprofen, chemotherapy, radiation, and chemicals found in the environment, such as herbicides, pesticides, insecticides, and fungicides. NAC helps to replenish glutathione, a potent antioxidant that helps counter free radical damage. NAC enhances phase 1 and phase 2 detoxification in the liver. This process takes fat-soluble poisons and turns them into harmless water-soluble particles. NAC regenerates liver tissue and prevents liver cell self-destruction. NAC is helpful if you take medication, drink alcohol, smoke, or if you’re exposed to any other types of toxicity. To make NAC more potent, try the following: 1. Take on an empty stomach 2. Take several doses daily 3. Take it with vitamin C and selenium 4. Consume a high-protein meal after taking NAC In addition to consuming adequate animal proteins, incorporate more cruciferous vegetables into your diet to help support the liver. Always get organic fruit when possible, and try to keep your net carbs under 50g per day. 1. Spinach and kiwi Blend 1 cup of spinach with 2 to 3 kiwis. The Widespread Magnesium MISTAKE 50%+ People Are Making

You could be deficient in magnesium and not even know it! You can’t rely on blood tests to detect a magnesium deficiency. Learn to spot the signs of magnesium deficiency and avoid the most common magnesium mistakes so you don't end up deficient. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Chapters: 0:00 Introduction: The most common magnesium deficiency mistake 0:25 Magnesium deficiency symptoms 0:42 The best magnesium sources 1:45 The best magnesium supplement 1:55 Magnesium benefits 3:15 How much magnesium should I take? 4:00 3 magnesium secrets You can have normal magnesium blood levels and still have a magnesium deficiency! This is because only 1% of magnesium is in your blood! The other 99% is inside your cells. Common magnesium deficiency symptoms include: •Muscle spasms •Muscle twitches •Anxiety •Poor sleep •Sugar cravings •Charley horses Almonds, spinach, and chocolate contain magnesium, but you would need to consume a lot to meet your requirements! Gut inflammation can decrease magnesium absorption by 60 to 70%. High-carb diets, alcohol, caffeine, and certain medications can deplete magnesium. Top-selling magnesium products often have poor absorption and can cause diarrhea. Take magnesium glycinate for the best absorption rate and to avoid the laxative effect. Magnesium is the master controller of calcium in the body, which is the primary communication signal between cells. Calcium often over-accumulates in the cells, which can lead to cellular damage. Magnesium is vital in regulating excess calcium in the body. It also helps prevent kidney stones. Calcium causes your muscles to contract, while magnesium causes them to relax. Tight muscles signify too much calcium and not enough magnesium. Magnesium also prevents heart attacks and problems with the heart’s rhythm. Correcting a magnesium deficiency takes time, and you need to make sure you’re taking enough. You may need 1000 to 1500 mg of magnesium daily to correct a deficiency. People with migraines, chronic pain, mood disorders, and diabetes may need more magnesium. Vitamin D won't work without magnesium. When you increase your magnesium intake, also increase your vitamin D. Vitamin B1 is also dependent on magnesium. Magnesium is vital in ATP production, so your magnesium intake directly affects your energy levels. Check and record your pulse rate: • In the morning, before getting out of bed • Before eating • 30 minutes after eating • 30 minutes after that • 30 minutes after that • Before bed 2. Record what you ate next to your pulse rate Typically, you could have an allergy if there is a difference between the low and high pulse rates above 16 points. Your tingling feet aren’t actually a nerve problem. If you have high blood sugar, there’s an increased demand for vitamin B1 because vitamin B1 is needed for sugar metabolism in the body. High blood sugar means the tiny blood vessels around the nervous system aren’t getting enough energy. A vitamin B1 deficiency can mean low energy and lactic acid buildup. Benfotiamine, a fat-soluble form of vitamin B1, can help with tingling and numbness in the feet. Take the recommended dose 3 to 4 times per day. Changing your diet is key to addressing the root cause of peripheral neuropathy. A low-carb diet can provide the body with ketones as an alternative fuel, helping properly fuel the neurons despite insulin resistance. Peripheral neuropathy can also be linked to high vitamin B6 levels or low magnesium levels.
