DJ JEL is an International Soca DJ. Known for his tagline, “The Soca Boss,” DJ JEL is currently one of the best soca DJs in the market right now. DJ JEL is a Trinbagonian with roots in Couva (Central Trinidad). His performance style sets him apart as he incorporates music that isn’t always in the popular rotation. DJ JEL has shared his love for soca music in various stages across the globe including Japan, Australia, The United Kingdom, The USA, and across the Caribbean. DJ JEL has opened for acts such as Machel Montano, Patrice Roberts, Kes The Band, Skinny Fabulous, Voice and more.

JEL is an industry thought leader. He’s worked on several campaigns with digital streaming platforms such as Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, and Audiomack to grow the listenership of soca music from the region. JEL is currently program director for the Soca Channel & curator for Tuff Soca Satellite radio on Sirius XM (Channel 1142) JEL is one of the first DJs to launch an 100% soca music channel on Sirius XM in the US & Canada.
