In the early hours of March 18, 1990, two men dressed as police officers arrived at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, Massachusetts. After convincing the security guards to let them inside, the men restrained the guards and spent the next 81 minutes moving through the museum. By the time they left, the thieves had stolen 13 works of art worth $500 million. They disappeared without a trace, and more than 36 years later, none of the stolen artwork has been recovered, leaving investigators searching for answers in what remains the largest property crime in United States history. On October 12, 2002, 25-year-old Paula Wade and her 3-year-old son, Brandon, were last seen in Valdosta, Georgia, just days before they were supposed to move to Florida for a fresh start. Paula had been packing up their apartment and was looking forward to being closer to family, but they never made that move. When Paula missed a scheduled call with her parents on the 13th and failed to show up for work on the 14th, they were reported missing. Their apartment was searched, and all of their belongings were found inside. More than 20 years later, Paula and Brandon have never been found. Their disappearance remains an open case, and their family is still searching for answers.
