Frank Lampard has given Coventry City's team news ahead of Monday night's Premier League home fixture with Newcastle United at the Coventry Building Society Arena. Coventry City have confirmed ticket details for their next two home Premier League fixtures. Tickets for Fulham at home on Saturday 24 October and Sunderland at home on Saturday 31 October, both 3pm kick-offs at the Coventry Building Society Arena, go on sale exclusively to Sky Blues Members from 10am on Thursday 8 October, on a first come, first served basis. Supporters with previous purchase history can buy from 10am on Monday 12 October. Both fixtures carry Category C pricing. Members can buy one ticket each, or up to ten when linking to other 26/27 members. Hospitality packages also go on sale at 10am on Thursday 8 October, with the Fulham fixture on general sale and the Sunderland fixture available to supporters with previous purchase history. The club have published their own roundup of how the eight Sky Blues away on international duty got on, with the window closing on Tuesday evening. Yann Gboho made his full Ivory Coast debut from the bench away at Somalia and scored six minutes later in a 2-0 win, then made his first start in a friendly against Cameroon. Stephen Mfuni made his England Under 21s debut at 18, playing 90 minutes in a 4-2 win over Kazakhstan and 90 minutes in a 3-1 defeat to the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday. The BBC report that Coventry City are set to buy the council owned Car Park C land next to the Coventry Building Society Arena for £1.6m. The purchase has not been completed: it goes to a Coventry City Council cabinet meeting next Tuesday, 13 October, and is expected to be signed off there. The money is paid over ten years and none of it goes to the council. It goes to the club's charity, Sky Blues in the Community, which will be contractually obliged to spend around £160,000 a year on sport and cultural activities across the city for the next decade. Councillor Lynnette Kelly, deputy leader of the council, called it a win win and said control of the car park lets the club plan for the future and look at wider regeneration of the area. Doug King said the deal would bring Car Park C in alongside everything already in the existing head lease and simplify future regeneration. There are no public plans for the site at this point. Legends Global announced on Monday that Andy Price will be general manager of the Coventry Building Society Arena. He joins from Olympia in London, part of the same group, where he spent two years as marketing and communications director, and was previously commercial director of the ticketing and arenas division at the NEC in Birmingham. His role covers venue operations, food and beverage, matchday premium hospitality and non matchday revenue through conventions, special events and concerts. The ten year partnership announced in August is backed by a joint investment of more than £15m from the club and Legends Global over the next three years. Price takes up the role full time on 1 December. The club say voting closes at seven o'clock on Wednesday evening and the winner is announced on Thursday, with anybody who played during the month eligible. September brought four games in all competitions, including a first Premier League win in twenty five years, away at Nottingham Forest through Jay Dasilva. The same report has Birmingham City and Wrexham watching him too, and says all three are still at the assessment stage. That is a single source and a rumour, and no club has confirmed any interest. A Premier League independent commission has found Manchester City guilty on a hundred and fourteen of a hundred and fifteen financial charges, over what the commission called sham contracts with commercial partners. City deny wrongdoing, and the Premier League confirmed on Friday that the club have lodged an appeal. No punishment has been set. Leigh Curtis at CoventryLive has looked at what one of the punishments being talked about, relegation, would mean for Coventry City. Applied to this season it would account for one of the three relegation places before a ball is kicked, leaving Coventry needing only to finish eighteenth to stay up, which Curtis puts at better than a hundred million pounds to the club. If the punishment took effect only after this season, he reckons Coventry would be looking for compensation instead. All of that rests on a sanction that has not been set. Coventry City have also been supporting the Football Association's Play Safe weekend, which ran on Saturday and Sunday under the heading keep up the convo. The club's academy players took part, the youngest age groups completing a Me at Football, Me Outside of Football activity with a trusted adult at home, and the older groups working on a discussion poster round the question of how to make sure everyone is heard. Coventry's away allocation for Tottenham Hotspur sold out on Thursday, the day it went on sale. The club confirm a limited number of wheelchair bays and ambulant disabled tickets remain for registered disabled season ticket holders with the required loyalty points, available by phone to the ticket office or in person at the Coventry Building Society Arena. If any are still available on Friday 2 October they are sold in four windows: 1300+ points from 10:00, 1200+ from 12:00, 1100+ from 14:00 and 1000+ from 16:00. Successful ballot members who have not yet bought have until 10:00 on Friday 2 October. Coventry are at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday 19 October. Coventry City have confirmed ticket details for the away game at Tottenham Hotspur on Monday 19 October, 8pm kick-off at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with a full allocation of 3,038 tickets and one ticket per Supporter Number. The sale runs in four loyalty-point windows on Thursday 1 October: 1700+ points from 10am, 1600+ from 12pm, 1500+ from 2pm and 1400+ from 4pm, each window open for one hour 45 minutes, with unpaid baskets cleared before the next window opens. Prices are £30 adult, £25 senior and young adult (18 to 25), £18 under 18, plus a £1 booking fee per ticket, and supporters buying a ticket receive 20 loyalty points. The club says further on-sales will be communicated if tickets remain. The Premier League's Key Match Incidents panel has ruled both big decisions in Coventry's 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest correct, as reported by Andy Turner for CoventryLive. The panel supported the VAR intervention to disallow Igor Jesus' late goal 4-1, saying the attacker carelessly stepped on the heel of Caleb Yirenkyi and that it was impactful in the lead up to the goal, and ruled 5-0 that the referee's call of no penalty for a challenge by Frank Onyeka in the 85th minute was correct, the contact being below the threshold for a penalty. Ellis Simms has applied for a Polish passport and Poland are interested and watching, Andy Turner reports for CoventryLive on the back of reporting out of Poland. Poland's national team director Adrian Mierzejewski says Simms' documents are with the consulate and they are waiting on the passport; Polish reports say coach Kibu Vicuna, recently added to Jan Urban's staff, has been tasked with flying to England to watch him; head coach Urban told TVP Sport that Simms would be treated like anyone else once the paperwork clears, and that he is not Haaland but not some random player either. Simms, called up by England at Under-20 level and also eligible for Jamaica, qualifies for Poland through his Poland-born grandmother. He was not in the squad for Poland's three games this international break, against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania and Sweden, which CoventryLive puts down to the documents still being processed. The Honduran paper Diez reported Latibeaudiere booked in the first half for a foul on Figueroa. Jamaica had won their opening group game against Guatemala. Newcastle United captain Dan Burn is aiming to return for the trip to Coventry City on Monday 12 October, according to Andy Turner’s report for CoventryLive, which carries Burn’s own comments to Newcastle’s matchday programme. Burn rolled his ankle in training before Newcastle’s opening day draw with Liverpool, is out of his cast and building strength, and is not expected to go straight back into the starting eleven. There was no fresh news out of Coventry City itself, and no Sky Blues football until the international break ends. Joel Latibeaudiere is with Jamaica, who host Honduras in Kingston on Monday night local time, and Taiwo Awoniyi is with a Nigeria squad away in Guinea-Bissau on Tuesday. There is nothing further from the club on Oliver Dovin, who is being treated at Coventry for the shoulder injury announced on Friday. Play Up, Sky Blues!
