EP 157 - Homie, It is Intact
"YEAH! VIDEO GAME!" After many years of bad films, many years of good games, and many moons of unbearable accuracy discourse, the first good Resident Evil movie has finally been released! So, what do the boys think of it? Tune in to find out as Alec and Brian discuss recent news (including Born Again Season 3, Star Wars Episode X, and the unforeseen Clone Saga show), as well as their spoiler-filled thoughts on Zach Cregger's RESIDENT EVIL!

EP 156 - Hawkcock: A Wolverine Story
"SHE'S LIKE A PHOENIX, THAT WOMAN!" When Wolverine was first revealed five years ago, nobody could predict the tumultuous saga it would face in the coming years. Insomniac's reputation declining amidst dissatisfied fan reception to Spider-Man 2, an unprecedented cyberattack resulting in hours of footage and an entire story outline leaked, pressure from no further updates for nearly two years, being caught in the crossfire amidst culture wars and PlayStation's (and the industry's) worst year in ages, it's been a long, windy road to release that would've made it all worth it if the game stuck the landing. Well, it kinda did, and kinda didn't, but in what ways? Tune in to find out as Alec and Brian go all-in on the spoiler-filled insanity that is Insomniac's most fascinating and divisive Marvel game to date -- MARVEL'S WOLVERINE!

EP 155 - It's a Calling
"ACTING IS THE SUM OF EVERYTHING YOU'VE EXPERIENCED." If you guys have been following us throughout the year, you know Brian's been trying to get Alec to watch Wonder Man for the past eight months. Because he didn't, the show got cancelled. Now he has worked to make amends by finally watching the eight episodes he was told were made for him. He was told the truth. He is sorry. So, tune in as Alec and Brian talk all about Marvel's surprise television hit of the year (and the show they cancelled after renewing) -- WONDER MAN!

EP 154 - The News of the Game(s)
YAO MING ALMOST CRIED WHEN HE SAW THE STATE OF PLAYS. As we near the final quarter of 2026, video game news and releases are starting to heat up. Between all the games trying to launch without being impacted by GTAVI, and all the footage making its way from hacked hard drives to the internet, you'd think actual showcases would have more to, well, show. Oh well, we still got a few things to ramble about. So, tune in as Alec and Brian go over all the news from the last couple weeks, including new looks at GRAND THEFT AUTO VI and WOLVERINE, as well as the leaked trailer for Motive's IRON MAN game!

EP 153 - The Future Belongs to Everyone
"AND I'M TAKING IT BACK." Ever since My Adventures with Superman premiered three years ago, we at Boulder Punch have been undeniably hooked, with its second season especially being one of our favorite DC things in recent memory. The past two years waiting for Season 3 have been long, but now it's finally out! While there is plenty to love, including arguably the best episode of the entire show, there are some low points that leave quite a bit to be desired. But with an uncertain future looming, what do we really think of this season? Tune in to find out as Alec and Brian go over recent news, as well as their spoiler-filled thoughts on MY ADVENTURES WITH SUPERMAN Season 3 -- alongside what the future holds!

EP 152 - I Have Faith
YAO MING ALMOST CRIED WHEN HE SAW THE CURRENT STATE OF X-MEN '97. After two and a half years alongside a creative shakeup, the second season of X-MEN '97 is finally here! While the season's had its fair share of highs, it's also had some pretty dizzying lows -- so much that people are worrying for the future of the show. So, what did we think of it? Tune in to find out as Alec and Brian go over recent news (Paramount/WBD Merger, the state of DC, WOLVERINE gameplay, BEYOND THE SPIDER-VERSE updates, and casting for the X-MEN movie) alongside their spoiler-filled thoughts on X-MEN '97 Season 2!

EP 151 - The One After Brand New Day
NOW WHAT? With Brand New Day dominating the box office, it's time to take a look at all the news we missed and see what's coming next. The view is more mixed than we'd like it to be, but it must be scoped out nonetheless. So, tune in as Alec and Brian go over all the biggest bits from the past two weeks, including Marvel's SDCC panel, the new LANTERNS trailer, the cancellation of WONDER MAN, and the castings of Emma Frost and Cyclops in the upcoming X-MEN movie!

EP 150 - Brand New Day (ft. HeyGuysItSpidey & @gwenstacying)
"I'M BOTH." Happy Spider-Man Day! After four and a half years of trial and error, creative differences, versions tossed in the trash, and so, so much waiting, the next chapter in Peter Parker's live-action saga has finally arrived! The film is garnering mass amounts of praise and unforeseen financial success for the webhead, but what do we think of it? Tune in to find out as Alec, Brian, and guests Trey and Darby mark the 150th Episode of the show with their spoiler-filled thoughts on SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY!

ONE LAST LOOK BEFORE THE DAWN BREAKS. Had a little hiatus again. Oopsie daisy! Time to recap. Before Brand New Day releases in a few days, come join Alec and Brian as they round up as much news from the past few weeks as they can, from Marvel's new EIC and the latest at DC all the way to trailers for AVATAR AANG: THE LAST AIRBENDER, AVATAR: SEVEN HAVENS, Marvel's WOLVERINE, CLAYFACE, RESIDENT EVIL, and AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY!

EP 148 - It's Over
SOON WE WILL OWN NOTHING! Last week capping off with the second season of a bad adaptation and a bad entry in a cinematic universe seemed to bode badly for this week. A lot of things have happened, and while some of it's good, most is, uhh... concerning. So, tune in as Alec and Brian dive through all the big pop culture stuff of the past week, including more on NATLA Season 2, SUPERGIRL and the DCU, the PERSONA live action Netflix series, and the new awful updates from Xbox and PlayStation, including the latter's decision to end physical discs for good!

EP 147 - Revenge is (Not) the Answer
WHAT DOES LOBO EVEN DO? After Superman got the DCU off to a (debatably) good start, many were excited to see where Kara Zor-El's first cinematic outing in forty years would take things next. Her film being adapted from a singular critically-acclaimed comic seemed to be the perfect recipe for a surefire hit. Unfortunately, both critically and commercially, that has not seemed to pass. So, what happened? Tune in to find out as Alec and Brian go all in on the spoilers and questionable choices behind the fourth chapter of the DCU -- SUPERGIRL!

THE BRAVE AND THE DIRE. Oh boy, Alec and Brian had a main topic but got carried away with the news section! How exciting! Anyway, y'all know the drill. Tune in as Alec and Brian pre-game for their Supergirl discussion with big things from the past week, including the return of Elodie Yung as Elektra, MY ADVENTURES WITH GREEN LANTERN, the ABSOLUTE BATMAN animated series, and the long-dreaded NETFLIX AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER Season 2!

EP 145 - Out with the Old, In with the Brand New
"I'M LOSING MY MIND..." Another week brings another round of news, some big, some small that eventually spin out into broader conversations. Either way, our favorite web-head finally has a new trailer, so it's time to lock in. Tune in as Alec and Brian go over recent news, trailers, and thoughts, from the WB/Paramount merger, to Chris Evans returning in SECRET WARS, to Jessica Cruz in MY ADVENTURES WITH SUPERMAN Season 3, to the recent failures of films like THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU, and the highly-anticipated trailer for SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY!

EP 144 - The Good News, The Bad News, & The Who News
BRING ON THE WILDERNESS YEARS PART TWO! We planned on talking about Mandalorian and Grogu this episode, but too much happened in the past week for us to condense. Game showcases, leaks, and the official (for-now) sunsetting of the longest-running sci-fi show of all time didn't really leave us with much room to talk about a vapid movie. So, tune in as Alec and Brian go over the biggest bits from the past week, including RESIDENT EVIL: VERONICA, THE WOLF AMONG US 2, GODZILLA: DESTROY ALL MONSTERS MELEE REMASTERED, PERSONA 4 REVIVAL AND PERSONA 6, MY ADVENTURES WITH SUPERMAN SEASON 3, and of course -- the end of DOCTOR WHO for the foreseeable future!

EP 143 - Drowning in News
LET'S RECAP, SHALL WE? Alec is finally free from his two-year stint in grad school, and it's time to get back into the swing of things. So much has happened the past four weeks that it's enough to make our heads spin, but we will dive into it all nonetheless. So, tune in as Alec and Brian ring in the summer by going all in on the biggest bits from the past month, including the DEVIL MAY CRY series, the PUNISHER special, THE BOYS finale, THE BATMAN PART II's cast, trailers for LANTERNS and X-MEN '97 Season 2, new info and footage of MY ADVENTURES WITH SUPERMAN Season 3, new info on BRAND NEW DAY, and the latest State of Play featuring new looks at GOD OF WAR: LAUFEY and Marvel's WOLVERINE!

EP 142 - Resist. Rebel. Rebuild.
"BOO!" After the lukewarm to positive reception of its messier first season, the Man Without Fear's newest season left many hoping for something tighter, more focused, and closer in quality to its Netflix predecessor. What resulted was what many consider to be a massive step up that brings this new era to a head, while still struggling with some growing pains. So, what do we think? Tune in to find out as Alec and Brian dive into the action, insanity, and spoilers of DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Season 2!

WE HAVE OUR JOY BACK. Been a bit! In the time we've been gone, a whole lot's happened. Some good, some bad, some giving us the joy we've awaited so long. Let's dig in. EP 140 - Brand New News
"IT AMOUNTS TO A KIND OF... REBIRTH." It's been four weeks since we last covered any kind of news, and boy oh boy has everything happened since then. From leaks, to awful business decisions, to monumental trailers, it's been a doozy. So, what do the boys have to say about it? Tune in to find out as Alec and Brian talk all the news from the past few weeks, including new looks at AVATAR: AANG - THE LAST AIRBENDER, LANTERNS, DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN, DUNE: PART THREE, and the long-awaited trailer for SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY!

EP 139 - Grace and Leon's Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
"I'M GONNA SIT RIGHT HERE WITH YOU..." After the emotional and shocking ending of Resident Evil Village, many wondered where the franchise would go next, even more so who it would revolve around. What many did not expect was a pivot back to Raccoon City and the T-Virus through the eyes of newcomer Grace Ashcroft and veteran Leon Kennedy. This entry -- celebrating the series' 30th anniversary -- has already been hailed as a GOTY contender, but what do the boys think? Tune in to find out as Alec and Brian dive into the horror, action, drama, and hilarity of RESIDENT EVIL REQUIEM!

EP 138 - Yeah Whatever Man (ft. @gwenstacying & @HeyGuysItSpidey)
IT STARTS WITH "SORRY." Last November, the four of us gathered around to watch both seasons of one of the most popular adult animated shows currently running. We did not like it. We meant to talk about how we did not like it for the past three months. Also, Evangelion is back. Nothing works out the way you want it to, huh? Oh, well. Tune in as Alec, Brian, Darby, and Trey talk Yoko Taro's new NEON GENESIS EVANGELION series as well as their brutally honest thoughts on HAZBIN HOTEL!
