John 12: What Are You Willing to Pour Out?
What are you willing to pour out? And what if the very thing you’re trying to hold onto has to fall to the ground before it can multiply? In John 12, the road to the cross is getting shorter. Mary breaks open something costly and fills the room with the fragrance of worship. Lazarus—once dead and now sitting at the table with Jesus—has become such a powerful living testimony that the religious leaders want him dead too. Crowds gather. Jesus enters Jerusalem on a donkey as King. And in the middle of it all, He gives His followers a startling picture: “Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone.
