Astro Talk with Kate Forster

Now on The Blunt and The Beautiful Page

Hi everyone, I have moved the podcast to be a part of the Come and listen on The Blunt and The Beautiful podcast page!

Astro Talk - 1st -7th August

August begins with a powerful invitation to heal, simplify and prepare for what's next. This week, Chiron stations retrograde, encouraging us to see our wounds as sources of wisdom rather than something to fix. The Last Quarter Moon in Taurus helps us clear physical and emotional clutter before next week's Total Solar Eclipse in Leo, while Venus enters Libra brings more harmony to our relationships and reminds us to create more beauty and balance in our lives. It's a week to slow down, let go of what you've outgrown and make space for the next chapter.

Astro Talk - 26th 31st July

This week is all about becoming the person your future is waiting for. Saturn begins its retrograde, inviting us to slow down and take an honest look at our habits, commitments and daily choices. Are they supporting the life you're trying to build, or keeping you anchored to the past? The Aquarius Full Moon then asks you to release an old identity and make space for what's next. We'll explore simple Full Moon rituals, Saturn retrograde practices, Abraham Hicks exercises and practical ways to work with the energy, so you leave this episode with more than just an understanding of the astrology. You'll have tools to put it into practice. If you've been wondering how to move forward, trust yourself more or create lasting change, this is the episode for you.

Astro Talk 19th-25th July

This week feels like a turning point. The astrology isn't asking us to work harder. It's asking us to become the version of ourselves who belongs in the future we're trying to create. The week begins with practical momentum as Mars and Saturn help us turn ideas into action. As the Moon moves through Libra, relationships, balance and the choices we make every day come into focus. Midweek, Jupiter forms a series of powerful aspects that expand what's possible while also exposing where we've outgrown old patterns. There may be moments where you're tempted to cling to the familiar, but this week's astrology reminds us that growth rarely feels comfortable at first. We'll also explore Barbault's Basket and why this period is encouraging us to step into a new chapter rather than replay old stories. It's a week for making thoughtful decisions, trusting your long-term vision and remembering that the future isn't something that happens to you. It's something you build through the choices you make today. Inside this week's Astro Talk, we'll unpack each transit, the collective themes, how they may show up in your own life, and the practical ways you can work with the energy rather than against it.

Astro Talk 12 - 18th July

This week on Astro Talk, we're exploring one of the most important astrological moments of the Mercury Retrograde cycle, the Inferior Conjunction. Think of it as Mercury's New Moon, a chance to rewrite the stories you've been telling yourself about who you are and what is possible. We also dive into the Cancer New Moon, Venus square Uranus and the exciting long-term influence of Uranus sextile Neptune, looking at how these transits invite us to embrace change without losing ourselves. As always, I've included this week's worksheet and an Inferior Conjunction cheat sheet to help you work with the astrology in a practical way.

Astro Talk - 6th - 13th July

This week invites you to slow down before you move forward. Neptune begins its five-month retrograde, asking you to separate intuition from illusion, while Mercury Retrograde reaches its powerful Inferior Conjunction, bringing fresh insights and a chance to rewrite the story you've been telling yourself. We also move through the Last Quarter Moon and prepare for the Cancer New Moon, making this the perfect time to release what no longer feels like home and plant the seeds for your next chapter. Join me as we unpack the astrology, the psychology behind the transits, and the practical ways you can work with this week's energy.

Astro Talk - 29 June to 5 July 2026

This week, the cosmos slows us down before it speeds us up. With Mercury Retrograde beginning alongside a powerful Capricorn Full Moon, it's time to reflect on what's working, what isn't and what you're ready to leave behind. As Jupiter enters Leo for the first time in twelve years, a new chapter of creativity, joy and self-expression begins, while Mars and Uranus spark fresh ideas and bold action. Join Kate as she unpacks one of the biggest astrological weeks of the year with humour, practical wisdom and the reminder that sometimes looking back is the fastest way to move forward.

Astro Talk - 21st June - 28th June

Solstice has just passed, and with it comes one of the most important questions of the year: are you still trying to live the life you planned, or are you willing to embrace the life you're actually living? This week, we explore the gap between expectation and reality, why so many of us struggle to let go of old plans, and how growth often begins when we stop negotiating with what is. As Cancer Season begins, the focus shifts towards home, belonging, emotional foundations and what truly sustains us. Along the way, we'll look at the stories we tell ourselves, the endings we may need to acknowledge, the lessons hidden inside disappointment and why the middle of any journey is often the hardest place to be. We'll also unpack this week's astrology, including the Sun entering Cancer, the Scorpio Moon's invitation to face uncomfortable truths, Venus and Saturn's reminder to invest in what lasts, and Mars entering Gemini, bringing fresh ideas, curiosity and new possibilities for the second half of the year. If you've been feeling stuck between who you thought you'd be and who you're becoming, this episode is for you. Patreon members can download this week's companion worksheet, The Life You Planned Versus The Life You're Living, a Winter Solstice reflection guide designed to help you take stock of the year so far, release what no longer fits and reconnect with what matters most as the light slowly begins to return.
