I get great pleasure in finding things in Nature that brighten up the landscape, like the last of the bee balm flowers hanging on until a killing frost. This form of pleasure is what I call heart-based rather than ego-based. The ego is never really satisfied, where the heart finds great joy in sharing positive energy with others.
