How Secure People Breakup

show notes
Securely attached people can love someone and still decide to leave the relationship. Scary, huh.
They may have communicated their needs, tried to work through problems, and given their partner opportunities to make changes. But when they realize that the relationship is no longer healthy or fulfilling, they may decide to walk away rather than keep trying to convince someone to give them what they need.
And just because they leave does not mean they stop loving or missing their partner. They can feel sad, experience regret, and even wonder whether they made the right decision without necessarily wanting to get back together.
In this episode, we explore why securely attached people end relationships, how they approach breakups, and what they tend to do afterward. We will also talk about whether they reach out to their ex, consider reconciliation, or choose to move on, and how becoming more secure can change the way someone handles the end of a relationship.
Because secure attachment isn’t just about knowing how to build and maintain a healthy relationship. It is also about recognizing when a relationship is no longer right for you and being willing to let it go.
